Specialties

FREE to the public, Peninsula Museum of Art is a nonprofit visual arts organization housing four exhibit galleries with new quarterly exhibits, a library resource center, and a gift shop. We also host art-​related openings and events.

PMA also houses a department for working artist studios, the Peninsula Art Institute. Here, 29 visual artists work and exhibit their creations in painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, and fiber art.

Established in 2004.

We relocated from Belmont to our beautiful Burlingame location in 2013.

In 2014 our Founder and Executive Director Ruth Waters was named Woman of the Year for District 13 by California State Senator Jerry Hill, who represents most of San Mateo County and northern Santa Clara County.
