History

Established in 2001.

Marina’s Sewing School has been teaching thousands of kids of San Mateo, Burlingame, Sun Bruno, San Francisco, and outher Bay Area cities for 10 years.

Marina’s Sewing School’s goal is to teach sewing skills to children 6 — 12 and teens using kid friendly patterns and introducing them to fashion design concepts, including pattern design, fashion illustration and understanding current trends in clothing styles and textiles. Program is focused on sewing clothing that children can wear as well as creating craft projects.

Sewing their own clothing will provide an opportunity for students to express their creativity and learn to sew fashionable well-​fitting clothing for themselves as well as meeting new friends and having fun.

Business Owner

Originally from Russia, Marina Dulman, owner and sewing instructor, has made her mark on America by following her passion for fashion! Teaching children to sew continues to brings her tremendous joy and satisfaction. In addition to being a talented sewing instructor and seamstress, Marina is also a talented jewelry designer and nutritionist.

Graduated from San Francisco State University with B.S. in Business and Marketing and B.A. in Russian Language and Literature.

As a mother of two, Marina went back to follow her dream to study fashion design.
