Mani Pedi Spa

I started coming here the weekend they opened. I live around the corner. I came every week for a couple of years. The technicians at that time were great, nice, did good work.
One day the technician turns around while cutting my cuticles to greet other customers, and slices open my finger. Over the years, it has become a chronic injury. It throbs when I exercise. I stop going here and start doing my own manicures and pedicures because I just can’t relax after that.
Today, I’m 6 months pregnant and my back is killing me, and I can’t reach my feet to care for them myself. I decide to indulge by coming back and using the massage chair.
The technician told me to get out of the chair as she was finishing the paint. I said I had come for the massage chair while I wait for the nails to get tack dry. She YELLS at me in front of everyone to get out, she doesn’t care, she’s done with me, I can sit over there. I get out of the chair with everyone watching me, totally embarrassed and furious. Mar the paint on my toes. She yells at me again something about how it’s my fault. With 10 – 15 other people watching this, probably wondering what I did to make her so livid that she would yell at a customer. I’m wondering too. I pay and leave.
Why would I ever come back here?
For context: I worked in customer service for 12 years. I am nice to people who work in service because I get it. I’ll put up with a lot before I say something.

Best Mani Pedi place in burlingame. Reasonable price and color lasts very long. If your nails or toes chip in the first few days they fix them for free. Always willing to accommodate us.
I have had Michelle, Lily and Jenn and they were all great.

I went in for a pedicure 35 minutes before closing. They all must’ve really wanted to leave since they skipped the paraffin, massage, didn’t put a top coat on, and booted me out of the chair 5 minutes into drying. It’s completely understandable that they wanted to leave. Next time tell your customers before hand that it’ll be a «pedi» or come back another day.

One truly satisfied customer! I was a walk-​in for a mani pedi last week. I do not live in the area, but wanted to get my nails and toes done while I chillaxed in Burlingame (plans for dinner later). The ladies did not disappoint. The salon is very nice (décor, chairs, clean bathroom), the staff was courteous, and the prices were reasonable (mani pedi combo was $ 20 less than another area salon).
They had an extensive color selection including the less toxic brand Zoya which I love. I had a multiple purples to choose from… I was going to Prince concert later that week :).
I was pampered and lulled to sleep during the experience. Lol, they let me rest until I needed to leave. Best part is my manicure and cuticles look freshly done 5 days later.
I highly recommend this salon.

I recently moved to this new area and needed to find a place that does good mani and pedi. I Unilocaled around and found this place so I decided to give it a try. I called the same day and was able to get a same day appointment for 2:30 on a Friday.
It was not busy at all and there was no greeting. I told the workers that I have an appointment and they plainly said «pick a color». So I did. They got the pedi chair ready for me and the lady that I got didn’t wear a name tag. But she was so grumpy and rude. On top of it, she was really rough and I told her to just file it down, no cutting. She STILL went ahead to do it. Another older customer walked in and she immediately left me as I sat there with the paraffin boots. I didn’t mind that but she left me for 30 whole mins while she worked on another client.
The lady who did my french gel mani was named Candy. She was really sweet and nice. Maybe I’m just OCD but the white tips on my nails were not straight at all. The lines that she made were really thick and it just didn’t look natural. Granted, I did ask for my tips to be thicker but other salons were able to do it and still made it look natural. She messed up on my thumb and middle finger but she really tried her best to fix it. I had to leave the salon and told her it was fine. When I got home and washed my hands, I noticed that my cuticles were over-​picked and I had to refile my nails to make it more square.
Now I’m just curious to see how long my gel will last. But overall, I don’t think I will return because the prices are too expensive for the quality that they deliver.

I get my nails done here every two weeks and I have never had one bad experience. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing and their staff is always friendly and cheerful. My nails look amazing every time I leave. My pedicures always last 3 or more weeks and my gel manicures last two weeks sometimes longer. I also get my eyebrows waxed by Michelle who is always sweet and does an amazing job. The salon is always clean and their tools are sanitary. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone! Thank you all for such amazing service and for always making my nails look beautiful! Xo

I got a mani and pedi. They trimmed my cuticles on two of my fingers too much and one became raw. I like the paraffin boots. Nice ladies whom I conversed about Vietnam and Vietnamese culture with. Would definitely come back for a pedicure.

This is my first time here and I’m super satisfied. It’s very clean, the prices are good, the chairs are comfy and they have tons of gel colors to choose from.
Michelle did my mani and Ann did my pedi… Both did a great job and they’re very sweet! I’m definitely coming back.

I have been here several times now and always happy with service and finished product. It is clean. The ladies are very nice and customer service is great. Nice color selection too.

Got a gel manicure and turn out great cheaper if you pay cash! Convenient location!

I have gone here 4 times and I’ve gotten into quite the routine of coming. Every time I’ve had a great manicure/​gel manicure/​pedicure and I’m surprised at the recent poor review posted. I was asked at multiple points if I was satisfied with the service. They were definitely willing to correct or adjust if needed.
As I was getting my services, 5 or 6 walk-​ins came in and they managed to accept all of them with some level of promptness. The last was not my favorite– when the employee said «5 minutes» she responded with a snide «I’m counting». If you’re a walk in, or you are 30 minutes late for your appointment, and you see everyone working, you should be smart enough to do the math. And not treat people like they are beneath you. Just because it’s a service industry doesn’t mean the employees are servants. IMO. But the staff here are professional and they treated her as well as they did the rest of the crowd.
Anyway, the employees are friendly, they orchestrate walk-​ins pretty well and I’ve never been turned away or had a service I wasn’t happy about. I do call first and try to come in when I think it’ll be less busy. 4:30 pm on Thursday seemed right about perfect.

Usually after a manicure, I feel like my nails are really clean and trimmed. I didn’t walk out with that feeling here. Cuticles weren’t pushed back and they weren’t cut well enough. The massage wasn’t great and the polish application was okay. I asked for a flower on each ring finger, what I got was weird (see picture). I’m not confrontational with these things I just went along and said it was nice but when I got home I removed all the polish and put my own. They get an extra star for how comfortable the chair was which is probably why I’m not mad because I was so relaxed in that chair. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t give them another chance.

First time here and will return! Easy to get an appointment which is nice having 2 young kids at home. Never know when you can get out. Appointment was on time I didn’t have to wait. Plus, the ladies did a good and quick job.
Unlikely other salons in the area they are really clean. Can tell just by looking at the spa chair arms wasn’t dirty. Other salons you would see debris all over. Also, I like how they use a new bag for every client in the spa bowl.
Lady was nice to let me try 3 polish to see which one I would like.

I’m a repeat customer. Of course the experience varies with the technician but overall I’ve been pretty happy with my pedicures. If I had one complaint it would be to scrub harder. Rough spots are never totally smoothed away.
Overall very nice people, clean, and the polish lasts forever. Usually fabulous massages but like I said, some are better than others.

I feel that this place is much better than other mani pedi alternatives on Broadway, Burlingame. People who work there are very fast but never rush you out. They are willing to work past official closing time if it is needed. It is clean, modern and accept credit card

I’m almost reluctant to review this place because I love it here so much! To be honest, I don’t really want people to start flooding their store because then it might drive up prices and wait times which would make me so sad– it’s that good!
I only get pedicures because I just never ever get manicures. For those who are looking for manicures, they only do natural nails so you won’t find acrylic here, which I think is actually a cool thing. They do have shellac so you could just get that.
The cost is absolutely reasonable. It’s not like other nail salons where you pay an arm and a leg for someone to just clean up/​paint your nails and lightly scrub your feet. For $ 24 cash or $ 27 credit, you get a deluxe pedicure in which they not only scrub your feet, but they scrub your legs, give you a massage, AND dip your feet in paraffin wax. What a steal!
The staff members are so friendly and nice. They greet you as soon as you walk in. When they’re not super busy, they personally offer tea or coffee. On top of all of that, the ambiance is just so relaxing. It’s nice and quiet, and the massage chairs are great!
I love it here! You won’t be wasting your time by paying this place a visit :)

I’ve come in a few times getting their regular mani-​pedi service. I was not aware that the prices shown for their service were if you pay in cash, it’s more if you pay with card. I always bring cash with me in case but I find it easier to pay with card so that’s what I do all the time. If I knew it was going to be cheaper with cash, I would’ve just done that. It wasn’t until maybe my 3^rd time going that I learned this, and it was after I paid they told me. But I brushed it off because maybe I should’ve known.
I love the variety of colors they have, the massage chairs, the environment, and the overall experience they offer such as the massages and the warm purple jelly thing they put on your feet before the pedicure.
However, my manicure is never even that great. They always miss the sides of my nail, or it’s never even, too thick, a string of the the cotton gets stuck underneath or it didn’t glide on smoothly or something. There’s always something, even if I point it out, they won’t fix it. Or if they do acknowledge it, they’ll try to show some effort they do something but then it still isn’t totally covered.
Okay, no ones perfect, so I brush that off every time. This most recent time, I decided I wanted a flower on my toes. I told the lady ahead of time and asked her what kind of flowers or just basically to do any. I just wanted a flower on there. But she showed me she had a cool animal print on her toes, I told her it was nice and cool but I still wanted a flower. She disregarded my comment and said the animal print will be better and went ahead to do it. What part of «I want a flower» was misunderstood?
Regardless to all these things, I’ve always left a good tip for them because it’s a service job, they should be getting tipped, and me being me, I give it to them. Definitely shouldn’t have, but I may have to try other places regardless of how good the prices are here.

New owners so give them a try! Prices have increased but worth the customer service!
Two lazy staff members omitted to tell me I get a paraffin wax with my manicure and pedicure!
The manicurist was amazing, not pushy but nicely up selling the services they offer I forgot her name!
I went back after my services were complete to mention we didn’t get our full pedicure experience based on what my manicurist mentioned — she apologized and offered to do it! I declined as my feet were already painted and dry.
The owner ran out, after hearing of my complaint and offered an apology and offered some compensation.
My mother and I declined and noted her gesture to right the situation was enough!
so I will be returning, because they are a clean facility, great customer service and worth the prices they charge! It rare to find good customer service these days! I think that goes a long way for building loyal customer base.
Hopefully I’ll get the full experience next time! Willing to give them another shot!

$ 33 for a pedi and flower… Sheesh.
I was waiting for my friend to fly into the SFO airport, and I had about 45 mins to kill, so I went into this place as I was driving through. Very nice, fancy place! Nice massage chair, nice relaxing atmosphere. They were super busy when I walked in, they squeezed me in last minute :)
Just kinda of expensive for a simple Pedi…

Came here 3 times so far and they have always been a success. The ladies here really take care of you and your nails. After a hot wax and exfoliation session, they start cutting and cleaning the cuticles with care and attention. No cuts and bleeding here.
They have a nice range of colors and the results are always neat and nice. If they are not swamped they take walk-​ins or you can schedule an on spot appointment and wait at the Starbucks just next door.
