This is the best place you can bring your E30! Paul is so meticulous about the work he does. And is one of the rare honest mechanics.

Paul saved the day with my 1970 Bmw 2002. I am rebuilding the car and ran into a snag. The after market water pumps were not fitting well on my m10 rebuild. I went to Paul and we searched his parts inventory and wallah — he had an OEM Bmw water pump in stock! We checked the dimensions and sure enough it was 100 thousandths of an inch different and that is what solved the problem! Check with Paul if you wanna do it right!

I’m not a car person so I really need to know one! And Paul is… he’s patient, knowledgeable and is a great resource for non-​car people like me. He’s given me some excellent advice to keep my older BMW running in tip-​top shape.

For five years I took my 2003 BMW 330i to Paul. Best decision ever. Paul is old school and does business the way it should be done. Additionally, he was very knowledgeable about my vehicle and took pride in taking care of it.
Examples: Paul would drop me to my home (7 minute drive) when he needed to keep the car, loan me a vehicle when needed and even drove my car home one time.
I recently sold the vehicle, but I will always provide Paul with a glowing recommendation.

Having had answered Paul’s ad on Craigslist for parts he was selling, I was assured he had what I needed, I took his word for granite that the part I was buying worked. It did not, and after few hundred spent trying to sort out the problem only to discover Paul sold me junk, so, buyer beware and do your homework before buying from Paul. Did he do anything to remedy my problem? no, part was sold as is… should have bought one from Pick n Pull… lesson learned.

This place is the worst place and service ever. My car is leaking power steering so I told Paul that I have a 91 e30 m42 and I needed a high pressure hose. He gave me the wrong one so I went back and wanted a cash refund. He did not give me a cash refund and was very rude about it. He took the old hose pushed me away and told me to come back tomorrow for either store credit or the hose he has. The problem is I dont want store credit. Everything there is fricken over priced. The same day I bought the power steering hose, I took my friends there to check out what he posted as «16×8 BBS RS» and when i got there it was 16×7. He was asking $ 2500. Way over price and rip off. Also he lied and said he didnt post it on craigslist. Also when I asked for a cash refund he said he needed to talk to his manager. WHAT MANAGER? He is the fricken owner.
DO NOT COME HERE. HE WILL RIP YOU OFF, GIVE YOU WRONG PARTS, AND DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS.

Although my power steering hose is $ 50, I am 19 and I had to WORK for that $ 50. He still refuses to give me a cash refund. Today I am going in to see if I can get a refund again and or the correct hose. If he does I may change my review opinion but as of now I am not happy at all.

Fantastic service. My husband and I were packing up our car for a road trip when we noticed a flat. At 5:45pm. After a quick Unilocal search, we found Autohaus. Paul answered the phone and told us to come on down. After a few minutes, it became clear that all four tires on our car we’re worn to the point of no return. As we had just bought the car 2 weeks ago (it’s used), we were pretty bummed. But Paul’s service was the bright spot. I think we found our new mechanic.

Excellent service at a great price! Paul is very reasonable, very hard to find honest mechanics these days, if you know what I mean!!!

I recently purchased a 1994 Volvo after retiring an older one (30 yrs!) I read an ad on Craigslist for some parts I might be interested in, and called. The person I spoke to turned out to be Paul at Autohaus Exec 909. He invited me to bring my ‘new’ car in for a courtesy check, which I appreciated because I did not have a chance to get the car up on a hoist to examine it before buying it. From his easy-​to-​talk-​to manner on the phone and some of the insightful questions he asked about the car, I could tell he was knowledgeable about Volvos and was genuinely interested in my wanting to be sure this particular car was safe.
(Some personal notes here — I’m a senior planning a road trip and don’t want any ‘surprises’! I’ve had the same mechanic for many years who kept my older car running during the 19 years I had it. I’m also a bit of a Volvo fanatic and do NOT trust my car to just anyone. If the person can’t ‘speak Volvo’, they are not touching my car!)
My regular mechanic does not have a hoist, so a few days ago I decided to take Paul up on his kind offer of a courtesy safety check and made the freeway drive from SF to Autohaus Exec in Burlingame. I am s-​o-​o-​o glad I did!
Paul remembered me from our phone conversation (Score 1 for good customer service) and as he looked over the car, I could tell he was noticing even minor details. (Score 2 — he is really observant!) Opening the hood, he remarked on the condition of the engine, which was dry and dusty, having not been steam cleaned (yet.) He drew certain conclusions from that which he shared with me. (The man is like Sherlock Holmes!)
Unfortunately, we also saw a leak from the radiator. Paul had actually noticed a small spot of coolant on the pavement as he approached the car initially. It was obvious the radiator was kaput and had to be replaced. I am well aware of Volvo radiators — aluminum core with plastic ends — when they leak they cannot be repaired. The good news was that Paul was able to get a new one and install it while my neighbor & I waited. He even offered to give us a lift to somewhere if needed. He gave us a time estimate and suggested we might want to get some coffee or something to eat since the replacement would take a few hours.
We went over to Broadway Ave. to a great sandwich shop (Bonne Sante’), and not long after after we returned, my car was ready to go. Considering I hadn’t driven down planning to need a major new part, it was a pricey trip, but well worth the peace of mind PLUS Paul gave me a new customer discount which kept the final number within my limit. My ‘new’ car now has a quality new radiator, new hoses, the coolant system was flushed and refilled and he checked & cleaned the expansion tank (which had been corroded.) I have every confidence that the job was done carefully and competently. The job is warranteed for 12K miles/​12 months parts & labor, too!
This could have been s-​o-​o bad. Coming in off the freeway, I learned my car had lost 75% of its coolant. Thank goodness my car did not get stuck on the freeway with a burned up engine!!! Instead, I had the emergency handled while I waited.
IN ADDITION, Paul gave me the good news that the suspension system was fine (as examined while doing the safety check on the hoist) and he even reconnected the part that had caused my heater to suddenly stop working two weeks ago. Yay! Just in time for our first rainy weather.
At Autohaus Exec909 I now have a new go-​to mechanic when my regular guy is unavailable. I am so glad that I found an honest, trustworthy, courteous, friendly, experienced & very competent mechanic/​shop on this side of the bay. THANK YOU, Paul and the guys in the shop.

Paul rescues drivers with flat tires. While heading from downtown Burlingame to SFO my car notified me that my tire was losing air… he responded to my distressed call for help and knew exactly how to gently change my tire and get me back on the road in under 15 minutes! I really appreciated his calm demeanor and willingness to drop the projects he was working on to help me.

And as i was going out of town i broke down on the road, Not only did they come and get my car, But Paul himself brought me another car to get around in. Wait it get’s better, I moved to my new home in Fresno, I had a problem with my car. I took it to another shop, and after being charged for a bogus check. I called Paul, He went out of his way to drive all the way here to Fresno, once again get my car, and left me another car to get around!!!
