Mathnasium instructors use our unique assessment process to determine (with great accuracy) exactly what each child knows and what they need to learn. Next, we design a customized learning plan for teaching the concepts the student needs to master. It doesn’t stop there — our encouraging instructors continually check progress along the way to make sure kids truly understand and retain the concepts we’ve taught. The results are transformative — kids will see measurable changes in attitude, confidence, and school progress.

History

Established in 2013.

Mathnasium of Burke has been offering math tutoring and homework help to hundreds of students in the Burke/​Springfield community since 2013. Our expert math instructors is passionate about helping kids in our community improve and excel in math through the year-​round and summer-​only math programs we offer.

Our center is across the street from the Burke post office and Giant, in the same shopping center as 7 – 11.

Rachel H.

Business Owner

Rachel graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and an Accounting minor. She has enjoyed solving Math problems since her early school years. During the school period, she had a lot of passion for Math, especially Algebra and Probabilities. With the Mathnasium Method, she realized a brand new skill to help children to be successful in math. Rachel has always been passionate for helping people and sharing her knowledge of learning. After her first child was born, she recognized how important it is for our children to grow up with the confidence of an effective learning environment. One of Rachel’s goals is to provide well-​established fundamental math skills to our children because she believes it will give them the confidence and positive attitude toward their math learning journey.
