Meet the Business Owner

Neha D.

Business Owner

Neha has always loved math and enjoys helping kids learn to love math and how to use it in their daily lives. Neha earned a Masters of Science in Molecular Genetics from University of Connecticut. At UConn, Neha was able to use her math talent to tutor high school and college students in Algebra, Pre-​Calculus, Calculus, Advanced Calculus and Chemistry. Neha started her career 19 years ago as a scientist in the biotechnology industry and was an integral member of a team that sequenced the Human Genome, changing science for generations to come. Then, Neha has built a successful marketing career holding various marketing management positions to drive revenue and growth, but she felt something was missing. After finding Mathnasium, Neha knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life doing what she loved the most, teaching children and math. She believes that Mathnasium can change children’s attitude towards math and help develop a deep understanding of «number sense.»
