Capable Computers is a small family owned business that provides computer services to small business, home business and residential clients throughout Northern Virginia. We offer on-​site, drop-​off, and remote service options.

We offer the following services: New equipment purchases; computer repair and upgrade; data backup and recovery; wired and wireless networking; virus, spyware, and malware removal.

History

Established in 2007.

Established by Dale Hamilton in 2007. Dale has been building and maintaining computers since Windows 95.

Business Owner

Dale earned a B.A. in economics with a minor in statistics from the George Washington University in 1985, and began his 22 year career with the Federal Government, working for the Department of Defense, NASA, and Department of Transportation. Dale earned a M.S. in Information Resources Management in 1997 from Syracuse University Dale left federal service to run Capable Computers full time.

Dale’s computer experience began in 1995, when he built his first personal computer, running Windows 95. In 1999, he began working part-​time building and maintaining computer systems for home-​based businesses. He has experience with:

–Microsoft Windows 9x, 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

–Installing peripherals such as printers, scanners, and external hard drives.

–Installing, upgrading, configuring, and securing wired and wireless networks.

–Recovering data from windows-​based PCs.

–Networking Gaming consoles.

–Maintaining and developing websites in html, php, and WordPress.
