I love love love this salon!!! They do amazing nail and everyone that works here is sooo friends and service oriented! Be prepared to WAIT they are always busy! And it is ALWAYS with the wait!

This place is always packed and for a good reason. My mom and I started coming here a few months ago. We were new to the area and they were so friendly and welcoming from the start. Since then we come here every other week for shellac manicures, pedicures and waxes. No matter who is serving us, they do a great job and are very detailed in their work. The shellac manicure can last up to 3 weeks or more for me and they are very patient and open-​minded if you have a certain design idea. When they wax my brows, they make it very natural and not too thin. The facility is pretty big, with 9 pedicure chairs, 8 manicure tables and a wide variety of polish selections. Everything is very clean and professional looking.
What I really love is that they remember us every time and even small details of our lives; when I got a new job, they congratulated me and the next time I came in, they asked me how it was going. It may be a long wait sometimes but they are very sweet and will sincerely apologize multiple times. Now that is great customer service.
Long story short, this place is worth the wait. I’ve never come across a nail salon with such high quality service for an average price. Thank you ladies for always taking such good care of my mom and I! :) We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our nails!

The prep these ladies do on the nails is phenomenal, I can easily get 3 weeks out of my shellac. They’re very open to my ideas even if a little off the mainstream. Busy always, but equally quick and friendly!

Definitely one of my very favorite nail salons I’ve been to. Everything is clean and the interior is really nice compared to most Asian nail salon it’s not all ghetto. Walls are painted and everything looks new. The workers are the cutest and never heard them talk shit about you like Serenity Nails in the mall they don’t make you feel rushed and they take time on your nails and make sure it’s dry and never skip steps and assume you don’t know like Serenity Nails and you can give cash tips or tip on your card but there’s an additional 50 cent charge but Serenity Nails only strictly takes cash tips and if you don’t have it they tell you to go to an ATM like you don’t know how much I love this place comparing it to that place just compare the Unilocal reviews from other people it speaks for itself. Everyone there has been nice but there’s this cute nail tech lady there her name is Nancy and she’s the best! Look at the sun flower she drew me She always remembers everybody and make them feel welcomed. They give out punch cards and when you hit the 10^th visit you get a certain amount of dollars worth of a mani or pedi (: I told all my coworkers to go there and they love it too!

I’ve been going to Sola nails for a few months now, and won’t go anywhere else. The shop is clean, and everyone that works there always does a fantastic job.

Came here for the first time based on recommendation from my sister and will be the last. I came in around 5:30pm for a mani and pedi and everything was going smoothly. I first started off with the pedi. so far so good but when i was doing the mani, the lady seemed unhappy and was getting frustrated. Toward the end, they want me to pay ahead of time before finishing. I was paying for my sister and I and even mention that I’m paying for both. Instead, they only charged for one and later came back and asked for the second payment. When doing the second payment, they also messed that payment up too. Overall, I won’t be back here as I felt rushed, unhappy, and did not have a good experience.

Great service. Nailed the picture I showed them. This place is CRAZY busy! So expect to wait at least 20 minutes or more depending on how many are already there. But I will say it’s worth the wait and price for QUALITY nails and nice service. The only criticism to Sola would give be to always have quality nail polish in stock, mine was a little streaky and didn’t go on smooth. But honestly not that big of a deal to me to have the design I want.

So, I came into Sola for only the second time. Today it was busy and full! This is a huge place, so I was a bit surprised. I only had about a half hour because I was doing a pick-​up at the airport.
I was greeted immediately by a technician who said the wait would be about 10 minutes. I told her I was super short on time and would come back later in the afternoon. She asked me how long I had, I told her and she said they could get the job done. So, I waited.
After about 15 minutes they called me back and said they could get my shellac done before I needed to be at my pick up. I was skeptical, but said okay!
So, we’re going along! My tech is Holly. Super nice, and really good. As I’m sitting there, not only does she apologize to me for my wait, but two other techs come by intermittently and apologize as well. Interesting! Curious? They care about customer service? Nice!
Needless to say, Holly was quick, extremely efficient and very friendly! I received the full experience, yet got it done in half the time and did not feel rushed! I don’t know how she did it because my nails look awesome! I have them done in a regular basis, so I know how they are supposed to look! AND, I had time to spare for my pick up at Sea-​Tac considering he had to wait for bags and all!
Yes, Sola is my new salon!

Ask for Ana! She is as good as Nancy! Very sweet and and did a great job on my fill. This place is clean, welcoming, reasonably priced and fast. I’ve been doing my nails for over 10 years and it’s not easy finding a nail salon that is almost perfect.

First time I came to this place to get my upper legs waxed. It was great, nice service, the lady who did the waxing was very nice, quick and they did a pretty good job. They waxed even more than I was expecting. I’ll come back for sure. I’d recomend this place. Thank you!

I guess it’s about time that I start writing reviews again. Why not start with one of the places that I frequent the most?
This is my go-​to nail spot, and the person who strictly does my nails, is My. I see her about every 1 ½−2 weeks. I love the fact that no matter how busy it is, she takes her sweet ass time on my nails to make sure that everything is perfect. I never feel like she’s rushing. For all that she does, she works quickly and meticulously. Honestly, I trust her so much that after I confirm my shape and length, I don’t even watch her do my nails. I’ll just watch whatever show is on the Food Network (which is like their permanent channel there) and wait for the cue to go wash my hands. Ooh and what else I like about My is, whenever I get a color change, she doesn’t just remove the color and paint them. She’ll still buff and file them down to where it looks like I just got a fill. Like I said, she makes sure that my nails look perfect!
As for the rest of the staff, they’re all really nice too! They all seem to know my name, and it’s kind of cool to walk in and have a bunch of ladies say, «Hi Lisa,» and «Bye Lisa,» in unison. I’ve referred a few of my friends here as well, and they all have their own favorite nail lady that they go to there on a regular basis.
The polish color selection is great, you have a vast range of different hues and finishes to pick from. This goes for both regular polishes and gel. They also rotate certain colors depending on the season, and they’re on top of carrying the latest polishes from recently released collections. It takes me a good 10 minutes to choose a color sometimes… that’s not a bad problem to have!
Prices are very reasonable, and on top of that, they have stamp cards. Taking everything into consideration, I don’t know how anyone can hate this place. Cleanliness, good service and selection is all that you can really ask for. This is exactly why I tip $ 8 – 10 depending on how much cash I have on me, each time that I get a fill. They do a great job, and they deserve it.

This was my first time here! My friend is a regular and I had some free time so I decided to go get my nails done with her and my other friend.
The three of us got there right when it opened and we were helped right away. Everyone is super nice and very easy to talk to. It’s fun when you go with friends, time goes by faster!
They did such a great job and happy with my results :) I am definitely coming back here!

I think I’ve found my go to spot for nails, shellac specifically. Last time I was here was over a decade ago and at that time, there was a different owner. Side note: I was not a fan of the services then so I was reluctant to try them again, glad there’s a new owner!
The girls are nice and chatty. They definitely put some care into the mani/​pedis they do. The last two times I’ve been by, it was near closing and they never once rushed. Further more, the quality of the shellac in my nails has lasted longer, without chipping, than any other salon I’ve been to.

I am a REGULAR here, and I come in every two weeks for a fill.
I bounced from nail shop to nail shop for years because a lot of them didn’t meet my expectations from quality to customer service.
The quality is pretty great, I’ve gone to HV, NK, & a lot of nail salons in the West Seattle/​Burien area and here and Star Nails are the only shops that I really love.
The service is great as well, not a lot of people know I’m Vietnamese and I never tell them until a couple visits in because I like to hear what they say, and if they talk about their customers in Vietnamese and they DON’T.
I come back every two weeks and probably won’t stop anytime soon. $ 25 for full set. $ 15 for fill. $ 2 for Matte top coat.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here but I called and was able to make an appointment with Nancy for a full set.
I went in with a picture I found on Pinterest and she made it happen! I’m never disappointed when I come here!

Nancy always does it a great job… I do hate it takes so long… I definitely need to be more vocal about my time waiting while others are helped…

My usual nail salon recently underwent new management and I was disappointed with the service so I decided to try this place out since the reviews were good. I had my brows waxed a few times and had acrylics done. Each time I went I didn’t have an appointment and they were extremely busy. But each time they were very nice and would tell me approximately how long the wait would be. The service was great. They always asked if what was done was to your liking and if not they would fix it until you are satisfied.
They are always busy so it would be best to make an appointment.
