Jeanetta did a wonderful job in a timely manner. A professional all the way, she knew exactly how to make my dress a part of me. She did exactly what we discussed with no problem making adjustments if needed (none were, I might add). Her price was more than fair, which I greatly appreciated. Our appointment was not rushed, and she took time to make suggestions to bring my whole look together. I highly recommend her and will not hesitate to contact her in the future.

Jeanetta SAVED me… had a wedding reception dress crisis the week of my wedding. Thank goodness I had found Jeanetta and she was able to help me out especially on a time crunch. Jeanetta really is great at what she does. She was able to complete alterations on my Marchesa Notte dress in two days. She was already pretty busy but it was honestly so nice of her to help me and get everything perfect for my wedding day. I initially wanted to just adjust the length of my gown but instead ended up making a few more alterations and I was so happy I did. The end product fit me perfectly and enhanced the shape of my body. I’m a petite person…5’2″ and so my dress was initially a bit loose in the waist and hip area, it was such a perfect touch to have it taken in, the extra cups she used for the bust area were also so natural and of great quality. Everything was exactly as it should have been after the first alteration, she ensured me that if I needed any other changes she would be able to have them on time – but it wasn’t necessary… I am so happy with The Bride’s Tailor, Jeanetta was so sweet, a perfectionist and I was so happy I trusted her with my dress, it was absolutely so great – could not have turned out better!

Jeanette was FABULOUS! She did alterations on my daughter’s pageant gown. Quite a few alterations were needed. After Jeanette pinned the hem, I changed my mind and asked her to let the hem down ½ inch. Of course, after she did the alterations and my daughter walked in the gown, it was too long. My bad. Jeanette never complained. She took up the hem again to make sure it was perfect for us. After she did the hem, we wanted the gown fuller so Jeanette added more crinoline. She did this several times until we felt the gown was absolutley PERFECT! She really went the extra mile for us. We’re so grateful we found someone like her-​someone who really cares about making sure her customers are delighted with her work!

Jeanette is amazing! I was referred to her from Unique Vintage when I purchased my wedding gown from them last year and was so happy to have met her. She is so sweet and made me feel very comfortable during the fitting. The boutique is great and shows off her talent; every time I’m there’s she’s making a beautiful gown from scratch in no time for her clients. You can tell she really cares about everyone who comes in, she’s always eager to see pictures from the occasion. She was very quick with my alterations and very reasonable. I’ve referred friends and they’ve all had the same great experience. I just picked up a brides maid dress she hemmed and I know I’ll refer anyone I can to her.

I met Jeanette at the Bride’s Against Breast Cancer bridal show and she is such a nice, soft-​spoken, professional seamstress in the business for 20+yrs! She is very detailed oriented and know what a bride wants! She also helped with two of my bridesmaids dresses that took someone with skill to hem those dresses were sequined with embroidery. She is very patient and will work towards a satisfied customer! I am so glad to have met her! I would recommend to anyone for a trusting seamstress who specialize in wedding gowns and know what she’s doing!

Jeanette is outstanding! Just had my second fitting for my wedding dress and I just can’t get over how great she is. Looking forward to my big day even more because I know the dress is going to fit perfectly!

This store is a gem!
After purchasing my gown, I was super stressed about finding a tailor who would come within budget. I had previously browsed through the Maggie Sottero/​Midgely collection at nearby Unique Vintage in Burbank (who sadly no longer carry gowns) and fell in love with a dress. Unfortunately (but good for me!), they did not provide tailoring inside the store and recommended Jeanetta at The Brides Tailor. Sadly, I did not end up buying my dress at Unique Vintage and instead followed a Maggie Sottero/​Midgley trunk show to Mary Me Bridal in Orange where I purchased my gown. The store offered tailoring, but with sashes priced at $ 490, I thought I would price around. SO glad that I kept her card and that I stepped in to her store.
Jeanetta’s store is on an uneventful strip off Burbank Blvd. It can be easily missed, so be careful! But once you’re inside, the very cute boutique style will make you feel right at home. There are comfy couches and chairs for friends and entourage, accessories that she makes on display, and samples of some of her dance costumes, and dresses. Jeanetta is very sweet and willing to work with you and give you a good estimate on what other stores would charge you in excess for. She is very professional and full of great suggestions and advice.
With the savings I had leftover, Jeanetta made me a beautiful custom veil that dragged behind me as I walked down the aisle for the price of what others wanted for a rental! AND made me a custom sash as well for a fraction of the cost of others. (Still waiting on pictures from my photographer!) Both turned out beautiful!
So glad that I took my business to her and happy to recommend her to all brides!

THE best experience and kindest woman ever. I bought my wedding dress from a small boutique in Huntington Beach, and although I live in the Valley was going to have my dress altered from the same place. I was so discouraged and stressed after they gave me an alteration bill that was almost the same price of my dress! I took my dress, and told them I’d find something local. Weeks before my wedding, (weeks being 5!) and in a panic I discover Janette at the brides tailor. I called her right before closing explaining to her my situation. My dress needed a serious alteration, and had to be taken in 3 inches, bustled, and the sweetheart neckline needed revising. I know that working with lace and delicate beading, time is everything! Jeanette texted me her number and had me send her photos of my dress right away. She immediately calmed my anxiety, and made me an appointment the following day. Her boutique was so cute, and comfortable. She told me she was able to fix my dress. Buy she didn’t tell me she was performing magic. She literally transformed my dress and made it exactly as I envisioned for HALF, yes I said HALF the costs of what I was quoted in Huntington Beach. She was more concerned with the well being of her customers, and making sure she was fitting her customers needs. She was so sweet and patient with me. Few days before the wedding., she not only had my dress ready to go, but she created this beautiful hair peice for me. I can’t boast, or give enough thanks to this sweet woman! She made my day so special. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I went to jeanetta on a Wednesday afternoon and had 3 prom girls dresses I needed hemmed and a few other things. Of course my kids waited till the very last minute to find what they wanted as their prom was the following Saturday and she was on it!
I called and she told me to come right then even though she was closing she got us in I explained I needed it by sat she said no problem!
we came back sat morning first thing and they were done and perfect! my daughters couldn’t be any happier with how this turned out!

After purchasing my gown at Mon Amie Bridal, I went on a hunt to find someone I could trust to make major alterations to my dream dress… on a BUDGET.
I had picked up a postcard from Jeanetta at an expo a while back and decided to bring my dress in to get a price estimate from her. Within 10 minutes, I was absolutely blown away.
Jeanetta worked on Dancing with the Stars and has EXTENSIVE experience in the bridal industry. Her expertise was evident right from the start.
She basically dissected my dress for me and came up with innovative ways to work the hem, create a 5-​part bustle and make necessary changes to the fit of the dress, while honoring the original craftsmanship and design. She had great insight as to when we should schedule various fittings (based on how my body would fluctuate leading up to the big day), how to transport the dress, what temperature it should kept in… I could go on and on…
Despite her busy schedule, I wound up coming in for 3 or 4 more alterations appointments. Jeanetta always assured me she’d be happy to meet as many times as it took to make the dress absolutely perfect. And absolutely perfect it WAS!
Jeanetta was the one vendor I felt most confident and most secure in throughout the entire wedding planning process. She really CARED about her work and about my happiness. On my wedding day, the dress fit like it was painted onto my body and was a MASSIVE hit! I have never felt more beautiful and Jeanetta made it so…
It’s also important to note she came in under the budget I had set for alterations… I couldn’t recommend Jeanetta more highly.
