This is a long overdue review. I came to this Subway when I was 8 months pregnant, and had a long and stressful day. WIth a baby on the way I was avoiding spending money eating out but at the time I was too tired to make anything to eat so I went to subway. I ordered my usual and asked how much a drink would be(i was craving for iced tea). After hearing the cost I decided it wasnt worth it and wanted to save every dollar I could since I felt bad already buying anything at all. The guy(I wish I remembered his name) gave me the drink for free. THis may seem like such a small gesture worth a couple dollars but for someone in my position at the time it was a huge deal. It literally made my day so much better(I almost cried thanks to added hormonal sensitivity). THe sandwich itself also tasted great and overall I had a wonderful experience.

So how many of you know that Subway charges 10% on sandwiches that are toasted? Today I went into Subway and ordered a Turkey Breast Sandwich, on Flatbread. She went to toast it and I asked her not to. She responded, «we have to toast all flatbreads? I asked, „because we have to get it toasted, are you still going to charge me the toast fee? and she responded Yes!“ So let me understand this, I’ve known for a while about the toast fee, but to choose Flatbread and have to pay for the toasting?» This is simply not going to work! Also, I guess because I am tracking and watching everything I eat, I bought the Turkey Breast on Flatbread and it only has 270 calories. However, I was shocked to find out that a 6″ Turkey Breast sandwich on Flatbread has 970 bits of Sodium. Seriously? The only sandwich worth getting with low calories and sodium, is the veggie delight with no cheese. I much as I use to like them, I’ll only be able to get the Veggie Delight and that gets boring after a while.

I eat here at least once a week. When looking for wonderfully fresh bread, veggies & meats this is my «go to» place. Aside from good food the staff is very friendly and the place is clean. The owner is very personable and I met him once or twice. Nice guy, nice place, nice people and good food. Refreshing experience

I’m a frequent sandwich eater at this subway and it doesn’t matter what I get my sandwich is always falling apart, the bread turns soggy due to way to much condiment sauce. The lettuce never looks appetizing nor the avocado. It doesn’t hurt to smile & why bother saying«welcome to subway» if you don’t make me feel welcomed at all?

Great customer service. I am here all the time and I am greeted each time no matter how busy they are. They are all young, but they all take responsibility for making the customer feel welcome. Thank you.

This place needs more employees I came in during lunch hour and it was only 2 people working, I noticed the bread was stale NOT fresh at all I also didn’t get my correct change had to remind the employee what I had paid her with I have been to better subways in Burbank but was just in the area but I will not recommend this place the one that beats all the locations is the one on alameda/Main Street next to Little Cesar’s.

I’m surprised to write the same as the OP. This is one of the better Subways I’ve been to — so there are differences in terms of the food quality. Who would have thought? I usually get a sandwich on Italian herb and cheese bread and when I bit into my Italian BMT one recent lunchtime, I couldn’t help but notice the freshness of the bread. Wow. I usually go to a Subway in Pasadena near an office I keep in Old Pasadena and until this recent lunch in Burbank, I had no idea how lacking in freshness the bread at that one Pasadena location happened to be. Or perhaps the Pasadena location over toasts their sandwiches, I don’t know. Also, this location thinks about conversation a little more, whether intentional or not. When I get a sandwich for«here» at the Pasadena location, the put the sandwich and napkin into a plastic bag on the tray — not sure why, but they do use that plastic bag. This Burbank location gives you the sandwich straight in the wrapper — saves the plastic bag for intended to go use.

Not a good experience. The kids who work at this place should not be left alone. They need adult supervision. When I walked in this Subway there was no one in the place — no customers and no employees were on the floor… In fact the employees were actually in the back of the store doing whatever they do in the back of store(playing Candy Crush?). When the employees realized there was a customer in the store they both came out from the back, and proclaimed, «we didn’t think anyone was here, sorry», which was followed by a shoulder shrug. Really? I’m from the Midwest, so my work ethic is much different(stronger) than that of the west coast. I get that. But it seems like common sense that when you run a business, someone is there to greet your customers when they walk through the door. Try it sometime. It will do you wonders. By the way… my sandwich was horrible. The bread was so hard I could not bite through it.

My girlfriend and I ate here the other day. We called the number on their Unilocal and an answering machine answered and said to press«one» to place an order. She pressed one and placed an order with the woman who picked up. She ordered me a 12″ toasted meatball sandwich on Italian herb and cheese bread with marinara sauce, provolone cheese and green bell peppers. She ordered herself a spinach, iceberg lettuce, cucumber, onion and tomato salad with one chicken breast chopped up. The woman said it’d be about ten minutes but when I went to pick it up two guys were working there(no woman) and they had no record of my girlfriend calling? I called my girlfriend and she called the same number that her phone called earlier but this time the call went to the guys in this Subway. We suspect that the order must’ve been placed at a different Subway location, but since we didn’t have another number to call we didn’t know which one. I placed the order inside and the guys who helped me were fast. We ordered the same food again and took it home to eat. My sandwich was good and my girlfriend said she liked her salad. She ordered olive oil on the side though, but got 90% canola oil mixed with olive oil which she didn’t eat, because she doesn’t think canola oil is healthy. She enjoyed the salad though and I did enjoy the sandwich! Overall, I am happy with the service here, but concerned about making phone orders and a bit annoyed that they don’t serve olive oil on the side anymore for people who don’t want dressing. I”ll come back here though when it’s convenient again because the whole meal was cheap, only about $ 15 and my sandwich was good!

The employees are a bit robotic but nonetheless very friendly. Always clean and they have a bathroom. I come here everyday. It’s got my stamp of approval.

I liked this location… ample parking lot… and nice service. I got a fat Meatball Marinara Sub with all types of stuff on it. Its Subway and if you give me ample options I will take full advantage. Nothing much more you can ask for in a Subway besides clean as well. The underrated star of Subway would be the cookies, try them out. Especially the Cheesecake and the Double Chocolate Cookies with White Chips!

A nice young gentleman chopped up a salad I ordered here and I really appreciated that! Usually Subway employees just layer up the ingredients. It was all tossed and bite-sized when he was through and I left them a $ 1 tip because of it. Great experience!

This specific Subway is found directly off of a main street. It makes it a little harder to get to it because of the parking structure but non the less, very professional, welcoming and clean. Never thought I would be ordering a pizza from Subway but really had to try their Flatizzas. Surprisingly it was pretty good. Great quiet spot for a quick bite to eat…

I can tell when you don’t make my sandwiches with love Subway. I can tell. Definitely the best Subway out of the couple in the area. No skimping on ingredients, staff always amiable and I don’t get any condescending looks when I order, yet again, a veggie sandwich as I do when I visit other establishments. There’s not much seating but ample parking in the plaza, free wifi from the Starbucks next door and they are very fast and clean. Ideal trip for a quick, guilt free choice during a half hour lunch break.

This is a review for all subways pretty much. The food is pretty good and so are the prices, but the service really sucks. Every time I go to subway the workers are always very rude-no matter which subway I go to.(I’ve tried all subways in my town) And whenever I ask for the veggies they always give very little and I always have to ask for extra like 5 times! :/It’s always like it hurts them to give us more. Like they are the ones paying for it or something! Also, the workers always rush and I have to tell them a million times my order because they either don’t listen or don’t care. So all in all, my experiences have not been the greatest and I would rather spend a few extra bucks and eat at a decent place like Togo’s.

I’m a frequent Subway customer. The food is pretty consistent, so my rating is based primarily on the location and their service, compared to other Subway stores. Anyhow… as Subway franchises go, this one really seems to get it right. Employees are friendly and greet you when you walk in. The store is scrupulously clean and actually has a decent amount of seating. They always get my order right, the chips are always stocked, and even the bathroom is well-maintained. As a result, this location has become my favorite, even though it’s not the closest. Parking can indeed be somewhat of a challenge. If you’re coming up Verdugo, you can use the underground lot. If you’re coming from Glenoaks you can either go west on Verdugo(toward the freeway) and go underground, or hope for a spot in the aboveground lot off Glenoaks. Note, though, that you can only turn right upon leaving, so you’d better want to go that direction.
