Sparkling Self-Service Car Wash

Went in to wash my car and got a little wet but that’s expected especially me being small and the hose moving everywhere!
Very cheap to wash your car and I would go back again.
Just don’t forget to bring extra quarters or $ 1,$ 5,$ 10 so you have enough time to wash your car and such.
Only problem I had was that I wasted $ 1.50 trying to get towels to dry my car but they didn’t have any left and it just took my change. So be sure to bring your own towels!

YES!!! How did I forget the days of going to the car wash and washing my own car??! After years of spending money on someone else washing my cars, I am back to washing my own car, thanks to this place! It’s now one of my son and my favorite things to do… wash the car. They have vacuums that last enough time to get the entire interior on my smallish car. I always have one wish that there would be an attachment that would actually fit in between the seats!

The place is perfect if you need to clean a really dirty SUV by yourself. The pressure from the hoses is very strong. They can be used to clean your engine too. I had a good experience at this place cleaning my very dirty SUV. I saw the place had a good review on Unilocal so I gave it a try. I recommend Sparkling Serf-​Service Car Wash in Burbank.

I’m never really satisfied with other people cleaning my car, so I found this self-​service car wash here on Unilocal.for under $ 7 (sometimes i do it for less than $ 4) you can get your car cleaned by yourself and it makes a fun bonding time with your girlfriend as well!
I go here every 4 days and I just bring my own cleaning/​dampening cloth with wax solutions.
to those in a hurry and if you dont wanna get wet, this is not your place!

The place down the street has spot free rinse which is now essential for me.

I washed my car here two days ago. Washing the outside & cleaning of the inside cost me 9.00 $. If you can do it faster, you can wash & clean you car paying maybe 4or 6 $ .I am very satisfied with this self service carwash & recommend it to everyone.

I’ve been here a handful of times. Here’s a quick breakdown.
Wash — $ 2.00 for 4 minutes.
Vacuum — $ 0.75
Self dry under shaded area
They have all the extras for a small charge including microfiber towels. Typically, I wash, dry, and vacuum my car for $ 3.00.

Even though I can wash my car at my residence, I still use this facility time by time because of nostalgia. I have been washing my car here for the past 16 years. I like the throwback style and good value it offers. The owners truly care about that. They installed awnings, a sink, and a drying cloth roller a few years ago to augment the value even more.

This place is AWESOME! not only to do get a great wash but you have a BLAST doing it! A must for anyone who is on a budget and wants to get a sqeeky clean car!

Bring your dirty ass car here and wash it, dry it and look like a million bucks rollin down the hard streets of glendale and burbank. haha! This place is great. I spent about $ 5 for a wash with WAX! That’s awesome. I normally would go to other car washes but if you wanna save $ 15 compared to $ 4 to $ 5 do it your damn self and build some upper muscles and put a little elbow grease in it too. I saw a cute girl with a black mustang wearing a pink evening dress washing her car while her douche bag of a bf watched. WTF lol that’s love i guess. So save money and wash your damn car is what i’m sayin.

This is where we go to vacuum out our car. 75 cents for about 4 minutes maybe? Super good suction on the vacuum cleaners, it’s always not too busy, plenty of spots. They have maybe like 6 – 7 vacuum stations and about 4 washing stations. We usually have to go about 2 rounds of 75 cents to completely vacuum out the car. Super convenient!

It would be nice IF they offered the wash for $ 1.00 on a specific day, but they don’t, yet.

Wanted to see what the fuss was about. Yes, this place is less busy and 50 cents cheaper than the car wash down the street. Why… because it’s dirty and the equipment hasn’t been upgraded in the past decade. Coming back? Not a chance.

As cut and dry as it comes– water, foaming brush, and wax. For me it doesn’t get any better than that. And what could be more fun than racing against time to beat the four minute limit?! Just make sure to bring a towel if you’re looking for a spot dry. Otherwise, can’t beat it.

Heard of two buck chuck? Well this is two buck manual-​wash. 4 minutes to race against time to wash your vehicle! Oh the challenge of it! High power wash. switch to foam for a hummingbirds flutter. then back to high power rinse… but there is one thing lacking at Sparkling. no spot free rinse! I keep a shammy in my truck so I’m good. And done! Made it.
You get a nice view of the la river as you dry and vacuum your ride. Sure it’s plastic bags and trash rolling along but take comfort it’s not on your yard and will eventually get filtered before it gets to the unimaginable sized plastic beach that is the pacific ocean gyre (hopefully). No pics exist of this place!
Less traffic, less people, less money than the car wash a few miles up the street. Also the manager is always around to badger.
Confession: I don’t like to pay for car washes plus my truck is a rich emerald green so the dust hides well and I have subterranean parking. I treat my truck every now and again but I treat myself more.

Step one from someone who doesn’t wash their car that much: determine which way the wind is blowing. :) Next, there are all these choices when you get in there, but if you’re planning on finishing in four minutes (you get more for each dollar you put in), do not grab that foaming brush. I don’t care if you drive a Smart car. If you grab that foaming brush, you will not finish in four minutes. Overall, I liked this place. It wasn’t too crowded, there wasn’t anyone rushing me to finish and for $ 4.75 (I bought the towel for $ 0.75, though I guess you could bring your own), it was a pretty cheap car wash.

Clean, cheap, effective, friendly. No complaints at all!

Went to Sparkling today to give my van a good scrub before a coast to coast road trip. Easy to find on Victory, halfway between Western and Alameda, on the west side of the road.
Areas were all clean and well kept, trash cans were empty, not overflowing with garbage and trash on the ground. The washer works well, the soap scrubber was very soft and gentle (good for expensive car paint but not for scrubbing off bird crap).
All vacuums were clean with strong suction, and long hoses are in good shape.
Things to know–
2 bucks gets you 4 minutes of wash, scrub, wax time. $ 1 for each extra minute. I don’t know who can wash, soap and rinse their car in 4 minutes. Expect it to cost $ 4 if you want to actually rinse it well, those suds get everywhere.
As soon as your money goes in, the high pressure hose is on full blast, have it in your hand or get wet.
As soon as you click over to soap, that sponge starts dropping gloopy suds, get ready to grab it and soap fast.
Bring your own brush to do your wheels and scrub off gunk, bring your own towels. And if you have a van/​truck, bring a step stool so you can reach your roof.
Vacuum is about 2 minutes per .50, have all the crap out of your car and be ready to vacuum, or you’ll be wasting money pulling out your floor mats while the vacuum is on.
Expect to pay about $ 6 – 7 if you want to get your car cleaned in n’ out, still cheap by comparision to detailers, and you can get your car cleaned to the level you want.

It’s hard to find a self-​service car wash in the LA area. They all seem to be detail service centers, and I don’t feel like spending $ 30 to have my car washed.
I came across this one after doing some research on my iPhone. (Yes, I had to do research to find a self-​service car wash; that’s how sparse they are here.)
I was really impressed with the price but was even more impressed with the facility itself. The hose had really strong water pressure, and the vacuum was the best car wash vacuum I’ve ever used. I know it’s kind of lame to write a review on a car wash, but I felt this one deserved it. Kudos to the owner — two thumbs up
