Raesler’s Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

Jim & Josie did another bang-​up job today. they’ve done my carpets for at least 30 years. I went too long between cleanings but my white carpet cleaned up well with Jim’s expertise. They were prompt, a bit early in fact. In & out in 1 hour too. Great job!

I was recommended to Raesler’s by a family friend who’s been using them regularly for 13 years.
I phoned Raesler’s on Tuesday, they called me back on Wednesday, came and did the work on Thursday!
They were due at 10 o’clock; arrived at 10 till. The husband/​wife team walked my place, wrote up the quote. The prices seemed reasonable to me, so I OK’d it and they began to work. Believe it or not, they started working at 10.
I got the full treatment; carpets cleaned, staircase cleaned, couches cleaned, area rugs cleaned. Clearly Jim has lots of experience, and worked hard the entire time; his wife the willing assistant.
You can see that all reviews are 5 stars, except the ageist Jamie P. She’s young. Yes, we all were young once. Are Jim & Jo older than most carpet cleaners? – yes. But we’re hiring them to clean carpets & furniture – not as models for the remake of Baywatch. (PS, I’m no spring chicken myself ;-)
Plus, I like dealing with small companies, including/​especially «mom & pops” – both of my parents owned their own small businesses, so I’m right at home with these kind of people.

After 3 years in a studio, my carpet was rank from my messes, those of a former tenant and seasonal shedding from my bunny. My complex is large and my unit seems to be at just the perfect unreachable location from most places on the street, but they were very patient and worked out a spot they could run their hoses from. The cleaning was also very patiently done and thorough. They were honest about what they could and could not remove but they gave me advice about products to buy that might get some persistent stains out. Except for the former tenant’s alleged enchilada sauce stain and one red wine (me), the carpet looks move-​in ready. Both the bunny and myself can now breathe again.

We have large dogs and one that was just recently rescued that we are fostering. During his transition period here he has marked all over the house. Raesler’s arrived on time and did a beautiful job; the carpets look brand new! They also gave me some great tips on cleaning products for upkeep and were extremely polite and professional! I would recommend them to anyone, we will definitely use them again!

The Raesler’s arrived at my door exactly on time and ready to go! After dealing with companies who constantly reschedule and arrive only to have to leave minutes later to fetch another piece of equipment, it was a breath of fresh air to have true professionals around.
My area rug has seen better days (a giant malamute uses it as his bed/​play area/​accident zone.) It looks and smells newer than when I first brought it home! I couldn’t be happier with their services, great attitude and price!

After having hired Raesler’s, I won’t call any other carpet cleaners to come back. The companies I have used before them were not nearly as thorough, knowledgable and effective as Jim and Josie. They are very nice, honest people and they guarantee their work. Not to mention the more than fair price they charge, which is half of what I have paid in the past for work that was not complete.
They were just here this morning and did another great job. I mentioned to them that I was going to give them another great review and they chuckled and said that would be great as they had a really bad one. I was so surprised that there would have been a negative review that I asked him what happened. Jim told me his story and without going into it here, I will just say that I find it unfortunate and completely not in character with my experiences with them or anyone else whom I know that has utilized their services.

I have had the pleasure of having Jim and Josie clean my carpets for about 15 years now. Their service has been outstanding in every way. Their equipment does a very thorough job, and my carpets are pretty old — they look like new again every time they’ clean them. Not only is their service great, but Jim and Josie are very nice people, and very professional. Always on time, and their prices can’t be beat. The Raesler team arrived exactly on time to clean a large sofa that has become a favorite daytime hangout for our four dogs — one of whom sheds like crazy. Less than an hour later, the cushions and couch looked brand new — including the arms which had previously suffered from numerous coffee stains. Great job at a very fair price!

This review is from my mom who is computer-​challenged. She had the Raesler’s come this morning and has never had a better carpet cleaning. She said they came right on time, were very fairly priced and did amazing work. She even asked for a couple more small areas and they only charged an extra $ 10. When my mom was calling around for prices, other places charged up to $ 150 more for pet urine spots but the Raesler’s said that it was included in their low price. My mom is ecstatic with the results and would not leave my place until I wrote this review. She will be highly recommending them to everyone via word of mouth, obviously ;)

I have used Raesler’s carpet cleaning for over a decade, and have always been completely happy with their good work. I trust them so much after all this time that I can leave for work in the morning when they show up and tell them to just lock up when they are done. Nice people, hard workers, always on time, good heavy duty truck mounted equipment that deep cleans, and knowledgeable about carpet issues.
Even though I have a large dog who tracks in dirt and sheds hair like crazy, it’s not a problem for Raesler’s,…their long hose gizmo gets it all and my filthy carpet looks new again. I don’t leave a lot of reviews but I had to put in my recommendation for them, after seeing a negative I don’t understand, because they are fantastic every time… and their prices are low. Even after adding in a nice tip, I’m still getting a good cleaning job for less than most of the others listed. After using them at least 20 times over the years, I’d know if there was a problem. There isn’t one bad thing I can say about their work or price or timeliness or attitude. So I say use Raesler’s once and you will stop looking elsewhere.

Welp, Unilocalers, I’ve got a good one for you:
I called last week to make a carpet cleaning appointment. They didn’t give me a quote, or any description of their cleaning method– but with all these 5 star reviews, I figure price and process wouldn’t be an issue… right?
After spending 30 minutes moving my furniture this morning, they call me just a few minutes after 9:00am. When I met them, they greeted me with, «Where’s your apartment? Our truck needs to be close, since that’s how we run the cleaning machine.» Ohhh… kay?
After another 30 minutes of me running around the back of my complex to show them the alleyway in which they could park, them saying that wouldn’t work, me running to the front of my complex to let their truck into my parking garage, and then me running back to the alleyway so I could assist them with their, uh, «cleaning hose»… the gentleman announces loudly, «We can’t do it!»
At this point, the lady (I don’t know how other Unilocalers knew their names, since they never introduced themselves to me) was ambling around my parking garage, lost, trying to get out. From the alleyway, I yelled to her where the exit door was, all the meantime hearing him say, «We can’t do it! We can’t do it!» The lady finally found her way, strolled up next to me and, hearing him from the garage for the first time, turns to me, expressionless: «We can’t do it.»
…Come again?
Apparently some sort of machinery they keep under the front hood of their van (No! Not the infamous cleaning hose!!) wasn’t working. No apology, no request to come right back, or at least reschedule ASAP. Just: «We can’t do it.» The lady starts walking away as her husband, already back in the van, asks if the garage door opens automatically, or if I had to be the one to let him out… Sigh.
I (still somehow smiling in my fully dumbfounded shock) mentioned that I, uh, was pretty disappointed?, and, umm, does this perhaps happen often?, and, err, might they have thought to check this hose issue before coming to me?, and …
She just said, «Well, what can you do.»
I dunno, man. Stand there in disbelief and then leave you 1 Star, I guess.
Here’s the only personal part of this review, just because I’ve been up since 7am cleaning and haven’t yet had breakfast or caffeine… and I’m feeling sassy: They were old — like, really old (how the heck were they going to help move any additional furniture?) — impolitely informal, unapologetically disrespectful, and a complete waste of my morning. I think it’s retiring time, folks.
Since they left, I called Express Carpet Cleaning LA, who immediately answered the phone and have called/​texted me back with a quote, cleaning time, drying time, and arrival time for a cleaning within the hour. Maybe you Unilocalers would want to check them out first…
… unless you prefer Raesler’s Cleaning Hose. And then, well, luck be with you.

The reviews are correct!!! Jim and his wife Josie are great. they cleaned my sons bed and carpet and did a awesome job. I’m very impressed. Thank you guys:)

Highly recommended! I wasn’t home for this, but my husband gave me a full report. He said that the appointment was easy to schedule and they came early. Apparently my husband had overestimated the square footage of the carpeted area of our home, and Jim let him know, then offered a reduced rate from the quote. He was done in ½ an hour and put long sheets of paper down on the carpet so we could continue to walk around on it while it dried. My husband is a tough customer and he was 100% satisfied, so I know they did a great job! Carpet looks and smells a million times better.

Very nice people: older gentleman, showed up on time and made our sofa look like new, he threw in cleaning of an area rug as well. Highly recommend. Fair price.

I love Raesler’s Carpet & Upholstry Service. They have cleaned our house and work carpets for many years. They are honest, reliable and consistant. They are husband & wife and work hard and do a good job. Their prices are very low and you get them every time. I highly recommend them.

Getting ready to call Jim and Josie again to clean our living area carpet. These folks are so nice and very professional, and the results of their work — especially given their competitive rates — are fantastic.
