Miracle Rooter Plumbing

In my opinion, I would not use this company again. I had a leaky hot water heater in a second floor apartment. They it was causing damage to the unit below. They promised to show up in a two hour window and then didn’t show up for several hours after that window. They charged me $ 1,600 to replace a 30 gallon hot water heater. In my opinion that was way over priced.

One star is given automatically just to be allowed to write a review about a business. If I had my way, this company wouldn’t get even a single star rating because that’s how bad of an experience I had with these guys. Where do I start… Two weeks ago I noticed a leak coming through my Mothers bathroom wall. I took a peek underneath our house and noticed water coming out of a pipe that seemed to be backed up (clogged). We don’t have our own «go to» plumber so we decided to give these guys a shot. This character Who goes by the name Tony came to fix our issue. He went on to unclog the pipes that went from the restroom toilets to the sewer. He used the electric snake to breakup the mess. He finished up, got paid and left. He left without telling us that what he did only caused a much bigger issue. He actually busted the pipe that he was supposed to fix and didn’t mention a single word to us. Now there is three feet of sewage water underneath our home. That means an infestation of rats and roaches and more money out of our pockets. Now what kind of professional leaves a job without checking their work to see what type of damage they may have caused?! This type of paid work is joke. This company needs to put their workers in check or go out of business. I recommend anyone to not give these guys any chance even if it’s an emergency. If this is how these people operate than they should just be completely shut down. Plumbing jobs are expensive as it is and should be done right. All cons and no positives for this company. Bad service. Bad representation. Zero stars.

I give Miracle Rooter 5 poops — That’s right. They deserve 5 poops. They were terrible. I don’t want to even waste time trying to explain the full story of all the bullshit I went through with them. They were unprofessional and had to send people over 5 times to fix 1 of the 2 plumbing issues. They weren’t even able to fix a clogged sink. How can a plumber not know how to do this? They decided to charge me an extra $ 95 at the last minute when I was at my wit’s end and just wanted everything to be fixed already. It took more than 2 weeks from the time I called them about the problem to when they actually fixed at least 1 of the issues. Even one plumber said the first plumber that gave me an estimate didn’t do his job correctly. When I originally made the 1^st appointment for after 7pm during the week, last minute they told me it would be an additional $ 60 for them to come out after 7pm so I had to reschedule for the weekend but then when they came out over the weekend they said they needed a part (that the 1^st plumber should’ve made note of) and the place was closed over weekends where they’d get the part. That was not the end of it but frankly I just want to never think about this experience again… except I still need to call another plumber about the clogged sink. I won’t be going back to Miracle Rooter, that’s for sure.

If I could give a zero I would. I was told my appointment would be delayed because they were waiting for their tankless water heater expert. When he arrived he said he knew nothing about them.
They might be good for other plumbing issues, but stay away if you need help with a tankless water heater.

I had a blocked drain in the kitchen sink on a weekend so I called Miracle Rooter: Very quick to arrive, very quick to fix, very friendly and professional, and very expensive! I guess you pay for the quick service but $ 200 for 15 minutes of drain cleanup with a snake? Yikes; someone’s getting rich. 5 stars if they’d charged me $ 130 or less.

I’m in the process of selling my home and on the day of my open house the tub had crud in it. When I exhausted all the possibilities, it turned out to be a collapsed sewer line. After some research, I called Miracle Rooter and, Franko, came out to access the problem. Sure enough, I had a big problem on my hands and I didn’t want it to interfere with showing and selling my home.
Franko and his team were extremely professional, considerate and took care of the city permits, work, inspections and took time out to show me on camera where the problems occurred. I would definitely do business with this company again and again. Such great professionalism and friendliness and concern all rolled into one package.

These dudes are replacing sewer lines or something along those lines across the street from where I live. Not only do they have a MORON directing traffic, who is yelling stupid shit at everyone driving by, but they are leaving an open hole covered by a sheet of metal on the road — in a residential neighborhood. It’s loud as hell. So, not only do I get to hear some idiot sexually harass the residents of Los Feliz, I get to hear every car driving down Franklin Ave run over a metal plate.

It’s 1:30am, and there’s beeping, water damaged wood floors, and a freaking water fall under the house — who you gonna call? Miracle Rooter, turns out.
Pipes are sneaky bastards. Case in point — how they always manage to burst or break at the EXACT worst moment possible. Like, for example, when both you and the tenant in the other unit of your duplex are each away for over a week for the holidays, and your landlord is MIA when you get back to find what looks and sounds like a miniature water park going on under your house.
So when I walked into my apartment the other night upon returning home from a ten day trip, I first got suspicious when I heard a persistant loud beeping sound emanating from the house (I guess angry water heaters do that), I proceeded to walk into the apartment and notice both the smell of lots of really wet stuff, and the ominous sound of huge amounts of water gushing where no water has gushed before.
The woman who answered the phone in the middle of the night (Jasmin), was very nice and sympathetic, and she sent out a technician right away to our rescue. Adam showed up about half an hour later and saved the day. or uh… night, I guess. He was super nice, very friendly, and professional (and cute too!).
Adam took care of the emergency situation for us, and came back a couple of days later to complete the whole repair for the problem that had caused the situation in the first place.
I highly recommend this company, whether it’s a middle of the night emergency, or a planned appointment. They are very efficient and nice, called to ask for clarifications before the job, and again to follow up on their work after it was done. They provided quality work with speed and a professional and friendly attitude.

From all the reviews, I thought this would be a great plumber to try for our sewer back up issue. They had a coupon for $ 67 to do drain cleaning that seemed like a great deal as well. Getting someone out was pretty quick (a couple of hours) however, when they got here, they were unable to clear out the clog and a supervisor came with some thing that supposedly could see where the clog was. They quoted us to replace the sewer pipe. Uh, kind of fast to jump to that conclusion so we paid them their money and sent them away. Then we called a bunch of other plumbers and luckily our regular guy was in town and cleared the block within 5 minutes of arriving.
I was really upset that they tried to just up sell me to doing a $ 3000 — $ 4000 job from a $ 67 call. I don’t like being taken advantage like that. Stars are for getting to us on time.

while most of these plumbing/​drain service places are a rip-​off, i have to say that i’ve found these guys to be on time, personable and reasonable. I thought i had a small problem, ended up having a big problem (of course), and they negotiated with me and did a nice job. In my experience, they’re worth a call.

Had an emergency at home and I needed to find a plumber ASAP. Called them at 6:00 and they were at my house in an hour. Josh and Danny were my technicians and they gave professional and attentive service. They went above and beyond what I requested and needed so if I ever need plumbing services again, I will definitely give them a call!
