Melanie Zermeno, MD

I have seen Dr. Zermeno for sometime now and she is by far the best Psychiatrist in town. Always accommodating, responds to emails and telephone calls within the hour, extremely professional and organized and knows her stuff! She has helped me so much. She runs a very busy practice, teaches at UCLA and supervises students at the hospital. Dr. Zermeno is top notch. As far as the negative review, I understand she is expensive, as most Psychiatrists charge a substantial fee. As with any profession, she is running a business and requires payment in order to continue treatment. I doubt any medical provider in a private practice will provide services for free, even if the patient cannot afford treatment.
Dr. Zermemo is the best out there. Highly recommended!

Quick at handing out medications. Keeps you on a short leash by requiring by-​weekly appointments (no meds if not). Should you face a situation where you’re no longer able to offered her services, you’re gonna have to look elsewhere.
