Hire Mike and his team! Amazing products, service, and design! My husband and I needed over 3,000 sq. ft. of wood flooring installed in our home with no clue what to do and where to go. We found Mike on Unilocal and Angie’s List and called immediately. He met with us right away and did an on sight estimate and listened to our wants/​needs. We had SEVERAL on sight estimates and researched a ton of flooring companies. Mike was not the cheapest and not the most expensive. We ultimately chose Mike because of his knowledge of flooring and his ability to communicate and answer all of our questions. He was also very careful to listen to our design ideas and give his best opinions on his products to suit our needs. His communication was amazing as we talked almost everyday to be updated on the stages of our project. Mike and his team were polite and friendly to me and my three children throughout the installation. Their work ethic, attention to detail, and level of perfection was impressive. These guys are the BEST!

If you are thinking of having any flooring done, look no further. Mike and his team did a great job of installing the hardwood and tile flooring in our home. As well as being professional, they were considerate in regards to our other home furnishings and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. They always arrived on time and completed the job within the time frame promised. I have recommended Mike many times and will continue to do so.

M & M Custom Flooring was a pleasure to work with overall. From the first phone call answered by Casey to the in home estimate provided by Mike, I was impressed with the whole experience from start to finish.
We had been searching for what seemed like forever for a dependable, affordable and reputable company to install new hardwood flooring in our living room, dining room and hallway along with new tile in the bathroom. When Mike came to our home to provide an estimate — he immediately made us feel at ease with this home improvement decision we had made. His expertise in flooring was amazing and he provided new insight on what would look the best for our budget. He worked with us in every aspect to get the most bang for our buck. The installers were curtious and professional. I can’t wait to do more to the rest of the house and make our dream house come to life with the help of M & M Custom Flooring. This is a long due review. M&M flooring has been great with their work and customer service! I hired them to polish my hardwood flooring and they did a great job overall!
I am a very detailed oriented person, and I saw they missed a few details on the first polish. I called Mike and explained the situation, he came right back that week to re-​do the floor until I was satisfied. (He first tried to patch the problem, but that caused the floors to have uneven shade of coating, which made it more noticeable), they happily re-​did the whole flooring the next day until I was truly satisfied with the results.
This company really cares about their client’s satisfaction and I would give more than 5 stars to Mike for getting the job done all over again up to my satisfaction.
I would definitely use the company again for my future flooring needs!

We worked with M&M Custom Flooring last summer & we could not be more thrilled with the work that was done. We purchased a new home & needed the flooring in before we could move in & they were quick & very helpful. The home we bought was older & there were some underlying floor issues. They came out on a Sat to do some work & again on Sun to check on the progress so that our floors could be installed in a quick & timely manner & so our move in wouldn’t be delayed. We put wood floors downstairs & they left us with a few extra boxes incase any of the wood scratched, we could easily replace it. Everyone was friendly, professional & really did an outstanding job. We love our floors!

I recently worked with Daniel at M&M on carpeting for my home. I am 100% satisfied with the job that was done. It was a really great experience and I would highly recommend checking them out if you are looking to do any kind of flooring. They are very knowledgeable, professional, accommodating and the prices are great! Mine was a pretty small job and they treated me like a highly valued customer. Their customer service is fantastic and the shop has a very friendly, family oriented vibe.

We got several quotes; M&M is not the cheapest but we were extremely satisfied with the quality of their work. Having your hardwood floors refinished while you’re living in the house is a messy, obtrusive disruption to your life for a week. These guys were neat, respectful, moved all the heavy furniture in and out, showed up when promised, and transformed a very beaten up Cherry floor that now looks better than it did when the house was new. Amazing how they sanded around baseboards and cabinets. We called to have them touch up our baseboards and they responded immediately, found the right paint in our garage and took care of it while we were at work. Worth the money.

I recently employed M & M Custom Flooring. I saw their work truck in the neighborhood and asked the residents about the company. They said they had not yet hired them, but they had found the company on Angie’s list. Normally I research the credentials, however, this time I went on my gut feelings after I had spoke to Mike in person.
In 1997, the carpeting was removed. I had the wood floors refinished (the house was built circa 1927). I wanted them done again. I was told by Mike of M & M that he could do it this time but the next time the floors would need to be replaced. He emailed his bid to me. I called Mike and accepted the bid and scheduled the work.
The workers showed up as scheduled each day. They were very careful in moving the furniture. There were items that were not movable which they covered with plastic. They sanded, filled, stained and applied top coating a few times. When they were done, they put everything back as it was. They worked diligently – without a lot of talking, playing music nor cell phone usage. The job was completed in 4 days as stated at the price quoted.
Because there was a small scratch made by a family member the day after the floor was done, I called Mike. He had one of his workers come back to take care of it. No big issue nor any charge.
The floor came out beautiful! I would highly recommend them and will employ them again.

Found M&M via A’s list, & they came in for consultation & estimate. Just a bit background, got a new place & it needs new floors ASAP. we’re thinking laminate on living spaces, & possibly carpet in bedrooms.
However, this company provided 3 different quotes but ignored my requests.

pretty much, they Provided quotes that took a week to respond. Cost $ 15,000 for work we did NOT want or did NOT request. At the end, they didn’t even try to help. They completely ignored us. They do not pay attention to detail when it comes down to customer service, so what can I expect when they get down to business?
Projects big or small, they should treat each customer with respect. I was clearly not important to this company.

I am a new homeowner and needed carpet. I went to the showroom in Burbank, they had a lot of different samples to choose from and ordered me samples that then were sent to my house. When I called to order my carpet they were able to get the are floors measured the same day. They ordered the carpet for me and the day it came the installer was out putting in my carpet. There was existing flooring under the original carpet that made the floor unlevel the installer was able to smoothe the transition so it looks a lot nicer. The carpet looks wonderful. I absolutely love it and couldn’t be happier. It was the final touch we needed to move into our home I would defiantly use them again in the future for all flooring needs. I would also recommend them to my friends.

You gotta love a place that will spend half-​an-​hour answering questions about your hardwood floor – when they weren’t even the ones that installed it!
I needed an independent, «third-​party» opinion about a problem I was having with my new hardwood floor (that someone else installed), and Mike patiently answered all my questions and offered some very helpful advice.

Great work! Daniel and his crew installed new laminate and carpet in my house. They took the time and effort in making sure the job was done right. The end results were better than I expected.
Zach, Tony and Joe were hard/​skilled workers and very considerate of my home. This is something you don’t always come across. It is definitely worth using M&M knowing that they do outstanding work and their team is comprised of good honest guys. The last thing you want are rude, inconsiderate individuals in your own home.
I would highly recommend them.

I highly recommend M & M Custom Flooring. Over the past 2 years they have completed several projects for me and have always done a beautiful job.
Their crew has always arrived on time. They were friendly, efficient and professional. I was also very impressed at how respectful they were of my homes, and how well they cleaned up afterward. Both Daniel and Mike have gone out of their way to accommodate me. I simply wouldn’t consider using anyone else. As far as I’m concerned, M & M is as good as it gets.

I had doubts about restoring my old hickory wood floors. Not only was it badly stained and discolored, but part of it had been hiding under stinky carpet for a good long time. Not only did M & M come through on restoring it, they made it look better than I expected.
They also did a good job with my kitchen. I wanted a crazy pattern of VCT and they did not blink an eye when they saw my sketch. They were on time and efficient. Not the cheapest place out there, but I didn’t have to worry about them messing up anything. Daniel was very professional, easy to get along and work with. The guys that he had finishing up the job weren’t as great — but overall it was a pleasant experience.

Needed new flooring for my rental property here in Burbank, CA and got a few quotes from several local flooring contractors… Though M&M Custom Flooring wasn’t the least expensive of the bunch, I decided to move forward with them because they seemed the most professional and having bad experiences with contractors in the past, I was all about reliability and results. I couldn’t have chosen any better; M&M Custom Flooring went above and beyond my expectations… not only installing the floor and cleaning up afterwards, but placing all my existing furniture back in it’s original locations. This in my opinion is a company that is willing to do more because they want to seperate themselves from the pack. I highly recommend these guys and I’m sure you’ll be 100% satisfied with their work.
