Joseph K. Park, DPM, is passionate about helping others. Dr Park is a foot and ankle surgeon and is board qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in foot surgery.

Dr. Park’s professional experience and extensive training in all aspects of podiatric medicine including foot and ankle surgery at the Olive View/​UCLA Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Hospital have given him the opportunity to treat a wide variety of foot and ankle problems successfully.

Dr. Park’s goal is to provide his patients with fast, effective, and lasting relief. He will explore and discuss all relevant and appropriate surgical and non-​surgical options and will begin a relevant treatment program in order to get his patients back on their feet as soon as possible.

Dr. Park has co-​authored numerous research projects and continues to be involved in the academic setting while training future podiatrists at the Olive View/​UCLA Medical Center.

Dr Park is amazing! I had foot surgery for bunions on both feet, and a cyst on my right foot. I searched around, and by far Dr. Park was the most attentive, knowledgeable, nicest & BEST doctor I could find. I liked that he knows the ‘whole’ foot, not just one particular type of surgery & could take care of multiple issues. I like his office & his whole staff. He has been in practice and done surgeries for several years. He explained the whole process and had such a nice manner to him. I never felt rushed or that he wasn’t listening when I had questions. I am very happy with Dr. Park and HIGHLY Recommend him! All of the comments about him being compassionate, caring, well mannered, etc are so so true! I am still recovering from my surgery, but will post «Before» & «After» pics once fully recovered. I’m sure if you meet Dr. Park and look into what he can do for you, you will feel the same way!

I really like this doctor! Very personable. Very thorough. He guessed what was going on with my foot even before the xrays, and he was correct. He took his time and offered three things I can do to alleviate my problem. Surgery is the last resort with him. Lovely man. Great doctor.

I recently had an accident and ended up with a broken bone in my foot. Messed up enough that it required surgery. I wish I could tell you how I found Dr. Park but all I can say is that I’m glad I did. He brings calm and assurance to you. Follow up has been amazing and he is constantly letting you know that it is fine to page him should an issue arise. He is very personable and, this may sound odd, he makes eye contact. You know he is listening to you. 100% present when you are with him. Don’t always get that and I just like to know I’m being listened to.
One more thing. If he had saved my life I would first talk about the fact that this is the only time I have ever actually seen a Dr. at the designated time of my appointment. Kudos and 5 Stars to Dr. Park and staff.

Dr Park is one of the best podiatrists around.
He did amazing work with my ankle surgery, a true artist.
He even put an ice machine bladder inside my cast, which made my recovery time much faster and lessoned the pain. It’s been only 6 weeks since the surgery and I’m back on my feet again, the scar is so small you can barely see it!
A very thoughtful Doctor who also treats you like a real patient, not a number. Very refreshing to see such an old school Doctor in a young persons body.

I researched and met many doctors before finally meeting Dr. Park. Once I met him I knew he was the right doctor to handle my foot surgery. More importantly I knew I could entrust him with my future walking abilities. He was professional, courteous. and his beside manner was phenomenal. Dr. Park clearly explained everything before, during and after the surgical process so I understood exactly what was going to happen at every stage. I highly recommend him.

For the first time in my life I’m speechless because I cannot find the words to describe dr Park, he is the most well-​mannered most compassionate caring doctor I have ever dealt with. he took my pain, misery and embarrassment of my feet due to overgrown bunions and turned them into something I never believed would be. Worst dr ever… i have been coming to this dr for a few times no results plus. all he cares is money and your insurence!!! don’t waist your time and money the only reason i came to this dr it was because of his reviews … trust me … he doesn’t know anything!!! waste of money and time and by the end you will need a surgery

Dr. Parks has a great bedside manner. He talks to you, with you and not at you. He is compassionate and tries to help resolve your issue with the least amount of additional pain.
The office staff was friendly and helpful. They called my insurance prior to my visit so that we were aware of what costs would be involved if any. They office was professional and clean.
With surgeons they sometimes have unexpected delays at the hospital which can make them late to appointments. This happened once, however before arriving the office staff called to let me know he would be 15 minutes late. They could have just let all of this slide, but the courtesy phone call let me know their patients and their patients time is valued.
I had seen Dr. Kase another podiatrist in Burbank a few years ago. After waiting over 3 hours, having him treat me without explanations or talking to me, he tried to sell me an unnecessary and overpriced shower boot. I felt like I was with some street vendor that cared more about selling products than telling me what was wrong and possible solutions. I never returned to Dr. Kase and from now on will be more than happy to see Dr. Parks for anything podiatry related.

Dr. Park is my favorite doctor that I have ever had. He is the most knowledgeable, kind, effective, efficient, and friendly doctor I’ve ever encountered. I’ve seen him several times over the last 7 years — for both accidental breaks and cronic foot problems — and he has always given the most effective diagnosis, explained all options available, and provided the best advice and treatment to get me healed. The entire office is a pleasure — the staff is friendly and helpful, and they have all necessary equipment on site.
And on a personal note, over the many foot problems I’ve had and visits I’ve made, I’ve spent a decent amount of time with him — and he’s just a downright decent, wonderful guy. Can’t recommend him enough. :)

Dr park is the nicest, most informed patient kind educated and attentive doctor I have met since moving to the US 14 year ago!!! I wish he was my everything doctor. His staff is incredible too. You don’t feel like an invoice, you feel like a human they truly care about. Nothing will every beat the quality of healthcare and physicians in Canada but Dr park has given me hope after years of being raped by the system and one lousy uneducated impatient doctor after another.

Our family cannot say enough to express how wonderful and gifted Dr. Park is.
Last year our mother suffered a terrible injury in which she shattered her heel bone. Fortunately for us, we found Dr. Park whom not only operated on our mother’s foot but kept her spirits high through the entire process. He explained every detail from start to finish and answered all of our questions before and after surgery. His office is organized and friendly and the nurses always ask mom how she was feeling, which made us feel like we weren’t «just another patient.» With no insurance we were able to work out a payment plan within reason. At one point, we were so frightened that our mother would never walk the same or would walk with discomfort, but 6 months later she is back at her yoga classes, hiking and living life to its fullest. None of that would be possible without Dr. Park incredible knowledge and spirit. He’s absolutely the best, there’s no other way to put it.

Perhaps the best doctor I’ve ever had. Everything about his office is great. Staff is helpful, friendly, attentive. I’ve never had to wait long in the waiting room or patient rooms. They have a lot of equipment available right there at the office, including X-​ray machines and splints, so you don’t have to make a separate appointment elsewhere, or wait long (if at all) for orthotics /​splints. Professional, effective, welcoming.
Dr. Park himself is a great guy, always very personable and helpful. I went there for running-​related pain in my right foot (plantar issues), and he was able to identify and cure me of the pain super effectively. I continued to see him due to issues in my left leg, and he was once again able to target the issue and relieve most of the pain (I continue to do stretches based on his advice for the remainder of the pain).
Dr. Park is the real deal. Every person I know who has had him as a Doctor, always has good things to say. Highly recommend!

I had two ingrown toe nails and really needed some care, so I found Dr. Park on Unilocal.He got really good reviews so I made an appt. The first thing I noticed is that he was very professional and patient. He didn’t rush me like the other podiatrists I saw. He seemed to genuinely care and took his time to consult me. He let me ask all my questions and answered them.
He did both my toenails and it was a good experience. My toes are now fine and I have no pain. He fixed them both and I’m glad I went to a good Dr. I would recommend Dr. Park to anyone who needs care.

I blew my achilles tendon doing freerunning in march, and Dr. Park did an Achilles tendon repair in early April. 5 months later, I’m pretty much good to go back to doing freerunning. I’m walking good, running pretty good, and have no pain and great flexibility. Dr. Park did an awesome job fixing me. Got some custom orthotic soles for my shoes (thin ones that the above review was griping about). They feel great to me and are pretty damn durable. Our puppy ripped it out of my shoe and chewed on it for 20 minutes and its still pretty solid.
One thing I really gotta mention about Dr. Park, beyond being a good docter, he’s actually an authentically nice guy and fills you with confidence that things are probably gonna be just fine. And that goes for all of his staff too. I usually dread going to the doctor, but Dr. Park and his staff really do a great job of making you feel at ease.

Excellent in every way. Knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I broke my 5th metatarsal. It is my very first broken bone and I’m glad I was referred to him because, after much pain, I am finally finding comfort. Yes … I have to wear a boot the size of a redwood. Yes … I must constantly keep it elevated and iced. Yes … movement has to be negotiated. BUT, I actually feel that I may be able to walk without pain in the future.
Dr. Park also found another foot issue that I must address when healed. Finally, he and his office members have been extremely helpful in guiding me through disability concerns.
From what I experience, I’m sure will have a life long relationship.

I was recommended to Dr. Steinberg’s office by orthopedist at Stetson Powell for a new pair of orthotics. Let me preface this by saying that I’m not the run of the mill podiatry patient. I have put in a major amount of trail miles annually and I estimate that my 5 year old pair has seen upwards of 5000 miles thanks to my former fixation with ultrarunning.
It was convenient in that his associate Dr. Park saw me on short notice; however, that’s where the convenience ended. I specifically asked for something similar to my old semi-​rigid, high volume orthotics, which I brought in as an example. I emphasized that I did not want to replace my hiking boots, running shoes, and ski boots and the old pair had served me well. When I returned in 2 weeks I received a thin pair of flimsy looking rigid orthotics that looked like they might hold up for six months if I was lucky. I mentioned my concerns to Dr. Park, who recommended that I try them out first.
During my trial run I realized that the slippery covering and design were not going to work. They were too thin and the heel cup was causing hot spots. Dr. Park’s office required that I make an appointment to discuss the problems with my orthotics. My previous podiatrist, Dave Hannaford, (unfortunately in the SF Bay Area) would send my orthotics out for adjustment without an appointment. I realized that this whole thing seemed like an insurance scam, not to mention a waste of my time. My previous pair took 4 adjustments to avoid arch blisters and there was no way I was going to make an appointment each time (@ $ 25 in copay every time) I needed an adjustment. After $ 400 out of pocket I decided to cut my losses and make an appointment with Dr. Hannaford.
