We tutor all subjects and all ages.

Our specialties are Phonics, Beginning Reading, Reading Comprehension, Spelling, Writing, Grammar, Math Facts, Decimals, Percentages, Beginning Algebra, among many others.

Our approach is about teaching your child learning systems that use his or her best abilities and skills to learn subjects that they find more difficult.

We have had great success with students that have ADD, ADHD, Aspergers Syndrome, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, and most other learning disabilities.

We teach your child test-​taking skills, including GED, PSAT and SAT readiness.

We offer a very effective English-​as-​a-​Second-​Language Program, again, that is customized to the adult or child’s strengths. Natali is the bilingual English/​Spanish tutor on our team. Ani, is our bilingual English/​Armenian tutor.

High School topics include, but are not limited to, Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, English, Physics, Music, Calculus, Trigonometry, History, Writing, Computers, Keyboarding, and Art.

History

Established in 1996.

In 1996 I opened Joanie Weber Tutoring as part of the Learning Rainbow Education Center in Visalia, California and the Learning Rainbow Education Center in San Jose, California. We tutored kids and adults of all ages and all subjects, with specialties in reading readiness, phonics, beginning reading, test-​prep, math facts and special needs.

In 2007, I moved to Los Angeles and put tutoring on hold to help my daughter who was (and still is) an actor. Now my girl is graduating from high school and managing her own career. So, I am re-​establishing my tutoring office in Burbank.

The reason we can tutor all subjects is not because I know everything, (that would be convenient, wouldn’t it?), but because if I have a student struggling with Calculus (let’s just say that’s not my specialty!), then I find a tutor who is brilliant at Calculus and is also a good teacher, and I train him or her on my system. I oversee all tutoring sessions to ensure your children are succeeding.

Hi. I’m Joanie Weber. I am a Tutor and I train other Tutors. From 1996 to 2007 I owned and managed The Learning Rainbow Tutoring Center in Visalia, CA and a satellite tutoring office in San Jose, CA.

I have tutored hundreds of children of all ages. I take tutoring

very personally and I expect every one of my students to arrive

at success. I have never tutored a child that did not have a way to learn.

Using his or her own natural strengths, interests, curiosities —

plus a few fun games that we created — he or she can learn

their most dificult subjects. Every child has talents and smarts.

It is our job to help them find and use them.
