Great little gastropub with a dragon on top. Good food in a very different environment. I liked it though and already recommended it to some friends looking for a place to go with their work for after hours celebrations. Service was nice and fast. Totally not what I expected but in a quirky, fun way.

Great food. Really solid beer selection. Fair prices. .. and all of the games and activities of a chuck-e-cheese. Everybody wins. Will be going back here over and over and over.

Expensive expensive expensive, video games are en over $ 4 each play and a mini 6″ pizza with cheese and pinnaple is $ 7.50, that’s crazy! They charge you 18% of tip in advance even though party of 2! I’m not coming back I prefer Game works or Dave & Busters or Chuck e cheeses! Although Staff was nice.

We went here for my husband’s birthday and had a blast! Food is delicious and place is clean, in fact in the whole 3 hours we were there we saw 3 staff members vacuuming, cleaning or wiping. Highly recommended from the menu: Calamansi Steak(cooked perfectly and very well seasoned), Chimichurri with garlic fries, Mac-n-cheese(homemade, with delicious cheese butter sauce), and definitely the soy garlic Chicken Wings. Chef Julie is super friendly and will chat with you and make you feel at home! We will definitely be back

For years Burbankians have been driving down Empire avenue, inevitably passing a giant castle randomly placed between a baseball field and an airport all wondering the same thing; what the hell is in that castle? After visiting the Games & Thrones website and drooling over their gourmet menu, I was sold! The website makes it very clear that they are not fond of Unilocal and they strongly discourage their customers from Unilocaling and utilizing Unilocal as a reliable to source for information about them or feedback from other customers. I didn’t really understand why until I actually set foot inside. The website also states several times in their frequently asked questions sections that they are absolutely not associated with Kids Castle(the previous establishment) and go on to imply that they are essentially a geekier version of Dave & Busters, which would have been freakin awesome, except for the fact that it was nothing like I had imagined. Upon our groups arrival, we were greeted by the hostess who was wearing regular clothes like everyone else; I was pretty bummed to learn that the staff doesn’t dress up in the renaissance theme. There are two plush thrones located next to the entrance, but no Iron throne. The interior is pretty run down and looks like a low budget Chuck E Cheese with a dash of promise. The website makes it seem like this place is made for adults and is kid friendly, but after coming here, it felt like the other way around. If there was any doubt that kids run this joint, the giant neon dragon slide and sticky hand prints are enough to justify it. The menu is so enticing and so out of place for this establishment. I would never expect to see prosciutto wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese and truffle fries as an appetizer at a place like this. The prices looked pretty decent at first until the food came out and we realized everything was portioned like tapas. In my opinion, if you’re going to revamp your menu and only serve artesian tapas on wooden cutting boards and only serve specialty beers, you should probably gut out the interior to match. Luckily, I decided to get hammered and make the best of the night, so after a few beers, this place didn’t seem so bad. Over all, I probably wouldn’t suggest coming here with a group of my friends, but maybe for lunch with a friend who has kids.

This is not going to surprise any of you in Unilocal Land, but I found out about Games & Thrones on… you guessed it… on Unilocal! The four of us dined surprisingly well and were graced with a visit from the gentleman chef himself. Two of us were drinking… The Jester $ 11 cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño, soju, lime & soda — very spicy and different, and The Queen’s Ball $ 12 strawberries, basil, orange juice, soju, lime & «Lucas» rim — refreshing and visually interesting. For dinner, we chose: 1) the oft-raved-about Calamansi marinated steak, $ 12, with garlic fried rice and chutney(onions, bell peppers, garlic) all topped with a fried egg, 2) Pulled pork sandwich, $ 12, slow roasted pulled pork, house made honey BBQ sauce, fried leeks and hand-cut shoestring fries, 3) Lemongrass Crab Cakes, $ 10, house made lemongrass baby crab cakes with remoulade & miso salad, 4) Veggie Flatbread, $ 13, with spinach, mushroom, red onions, tomatoes & roasted garlic. The Calamansi steak was marinated with Kalamansi or Philippine lime — this was the stand-out dish. It comes pre-sliced(because you only have plastic ware, see comment below!) There were a few quirks: *The drinks seemed a bit on the expensive side for soju… sorta Westside L.A. prices… *We didn’t get silverware, we got plastic ware. I guess that’s because it’s a kids’ place? But we had to ask for it and for water too… service was friendly but uneven… We had no children with us, but we toured the facility and will probably be back to eat with kiddies in tow. An interesting and quirky find in Burbank…

This place is like Chuck-E-Cheese being upgraded to a clean, full functioning arcade, with a ride inside and it doesn’t smell like feet added to a better Dave and Busters without the over priced booze and arcade games with WAYBETTER menu. We are definitely going back. Everything we ordered from the sliders, chicken fingers and spicy tuna on crispy rice was AMAZING. We can all tell that they took care of making the food fresh. I want to try everything on their menu!!! The staff and servers were all so helpful and friendly. AND did I mention their prizes are sooo much better. They even have an XBOXONE and an iPad Mini! The kids enjoyed themselves and so did we so the plan is to go back as soon as possible!

My co-worker suggested that I should go here with my son and I did. WELOVEDIT!!! All the staff are SUPERDUPER friendly and really take excellent care of us. Food tastes pretty darn good for a kid’s place. I will be coming here at least once in two months with my son. We are ALWAYS are looking for amazing things to do in Burbank during our lunch break.

two words: homemade ketchup. That’s the care that goes into the cooking there, and a chef that could very easily be cooking at a well-reviewed restaurant and not an arcade restaurant. There’s Filipino dishes to your traditional pizza– crust is hand-made. The staff is very very nice. There’s a lot of fun arcade games for kids and adults and nice party spaces and rooms — there’s also a rollercoaster like ride and a soft play/climbing area for the kids. And valet in back is free(outside of tipping). I would say the overall highlights are the food and the staff.

Decent enough place — with its new name and bar-like menu, I thought this would be more geared toward adults(i.e. kids at heart). Although the variety of games are better than when this space was Kid’s Castle, this place is no more than a new coat of paint and a new menu. The space isn’t very big, but there are a few air hockey tables, one pool table, and arcade games like basketball, skeeball, the claw, etc. There’s even a playground area and a carnival-type ride for children. Is this a good Chuck-e-cheese alternative for families? Yes, absolutely. Is this a D’n’Bs substitute for adults? No, unfortunately not. The food was decent enough, my partner ordered the Kale salad and there were big stems left in there. I had the sliders and a side of fries — it was okay, but nothing I’d crave enough to return here. I did appreciate the variety in choices though — chicken adobo? Impressive. Parking is valet only(it’s free), so make sure you bring cash for tip. No street parking. There’s a park right next door, so make sure you don’t go to the wrong lot.

I wouldn’t exactly say it’s like a Dave n busters, I would say it skews towards kid-friendly that just happens to have good food and a small beer selection for the adults. Anyway we came because we’re new to the area and they had a groupon AND they serve some Filipino dishes. And the name is fantastic. Calamansi Steak — SOGOOD. If you love sour things and garlic things and things with fried eggs, get this. My bf and I shared this but I kind of wish we didn’t. I would come back just for this. Soy Garlic Wings — pretty good! A tad on the sweet side but I would order again. Mario Kart Game — I always school my bf in this but for some reason we couldn’t play together? We ended up playing in separate races even though we were right next to each other. It’s like the two weren’t connected or something. Slight bummer.

Think of this place like Dave and Busters… but with better food. They have games for the kids, or adults so that you can win prizes like DnB, they serve beer, they have TVs set up, and they serve pizza… and some traditional Filipino dishes. Random, but my coworkers said it was pretty good. I had myself the street taco platter, which was 4 different types of tacos; braised short rib, mahi mahi, carne asada and chorizo. All of them have different tasty sauces, only knock on it was that the tortilla broke apart way too easy. It couldn’t hold the delicious meats, but none the less, a fork shall save the day. I also tried the hot mac n cheese. The mac n cheese had ghost peppers which like a ghost, creeps up on you like no other. It’s not extremely hot where your mouth will be on fire… well i guess it can if you can’t tolerate spicy, but ya it was a nice cheesy flavor into a nice subtle spicy kick, and it comes with crispy french fries on top, so make sure to mix it up.

Ok this place is the total chucky cheese for adults place. Forget Dave and Busters, and thank heaven this place is in Burbank! Not only do they have fun games to get your tickets, there’s a roller coaster inside(which is really fast — you will be surprised! Super fun) and also got some games for us old school gamers like The Simpsons, and Street Fighter(OG). I love this place! And the food! You woud not expect food this good in a place like this. Yes, they serve the typical bar stuff but they go beyond that with Short Rib risotto and even Chicken Adobo! Do come here. They can accommodate a lot of people, great service and they really tend to all their guests and want every one to be happy!

I took my family here over the weekend after having bought a LivingSocial deal. We had a lot of fun! You have to valet park, which I did not like. It’s free valet, but I did not like not having an option to self park. Plus, it’s not really«free» when you have to tip them. Also, like other Unilocalers have said, after you valet, you’re forced to walk in the alley to the entrance. It’s dangerous because you’re walking where cars are pulling in. We ate lunch at the restaurant before playing games. The food is not your average Chuck E Cheese fare. They have definitely elevated the food to another level. We had the crown burger, ginger soy garlic chicken wings, sliders, halfsies fries(sweet potato/regular fries) and a cheese pizza slice. Everything was tasty! They make their own ketchup and dips. I appreciated the little touches. They’re going above and beyond with the menu, for sure. We didn’t get dessert, but they told us they had Earl Grey ice cream, vanilla ice cream and strawberry shortcake waffle. The place was a little dark. I am thinking maybe they’re trying to conserve electricity buy not turning on all the lights. When they get a little busier, I wonder if they will. It would do wonders to brighten up the place. They have a great area for parties and another area in the back with a kids play area with slides. There’s a roller coaster that goes around and around. It wasn’t open when we got there, but as more kids arrived, they started running it. All the workers I encountered that day were helpful. We spent a lot of money on the jurassic park game. So fun! This place has been opened since April, so I’m assuming they are still working out some kinks. But overall, they’re doing a great job. We will be back!

This place is great to grab a bite, have a few drinks, and play games! I had the best time with my coworkers after work. Our server, Tyler, was super attentive and very accommodating. He recommended the soy garlic wings, halfsies fries, and crispy chicken sandwich. Everything was soooo good! My friends and I were all surprised that we got this kind of food here. We also had the bottomless mimosas and tried every flavor. The peach is my favorite, followed by the mango! They have vintage games like Mrs. Pacman and Street Fighter! We also tried out the new Jurassic Park game and the piano game and won over 1500 tickets! The prizes are a nice selection. We got the stunna shades and hello kitty dolls. Overall great time with great adorable food and superb service. We’re going to make this a regular spot after work!

Ok, I never expected to have so much fun at a place like this. Booze, games, roller coaster, and BOMBFOOD. This place is a total sleeper for adults! Sure, you can bring your kids here and have a great time. But you can also channel your own inner kid at heart like me! I had the best. time. EVER! We came in for the chicken adobo and ended up ordering almost everything else on the menu. Soy garlic wings, hot mac-n-fries, spicy tuna crispy rice are too good to handle. I’m having cravings as I’m typing this review. Also, the short ribs are killer and soo soft they melt in your mouth. I can’t believe they have this kind of food here. Where has this place been all of my life?! Chef Julie stopped by to say hi, which I thought was a nice touch. You can tell the staff here really cares about this place. I would come back just for the food and beer alone. Where else can you get quality Filipino and bar food at affordable prices and arcade games? Speaking of arcade games, I don’t know why other reviewers are trippin’. There’s way more than enough working games to keep you entertained. And the ones that don’t work are clearly marked with a sign that says they’re being replaced for a new game. Another nice touch — new games on the way! Personally, I hit the jackpot on the new«whack-n-win» game and scored 500 tickets. Yes! Saving up for the Minecraft prizes for my godson. We’ll be back again!

I was excited to hear about a place like this in Burbank. My wife took me here as a little surprise and we had a good time. I want to start off by saying some of my negatives then get to the good stuff. There should be a cut off time for kids and parties, I know Burbank has a lot of families and every family is different but this is also somewhat of a bar and it would be nice if from 9pm onwards no kids would be allowed. Also, please get more beer to choose from, one of your selling points was large selection of craft beers, 7 doesn’t count. And finally, your arcade is sad, the Simpsons was the highlight, many of the machines were broken, no pinball and mostly ticket games, come on… Get the 6 player X men arcade cabinet, contra, mk2, time crisis, teenage mutant ninja turtles the arcade game, rush 2049, I mean there are a million good games to choose from, would love to see more quality and variety. Ok good things, the beer selection while limited was a good mix, you can definitely find something you like. Unlike some other people I thought the pizza was really good, the buttery garlic pizza, I basically ate it before I saw it, don’t even know what it really looks like but it was good. Wings were also good, some good flavors, as mentioned in a previous review though the sriracha chipotle could be spicier, fries were very good, crispy spicy tuna was good but a bit different of a take, just those fried rice balls alone are very good I still have high hopes for this place, just get the arcade up to par, have adult hours and clean your tables, they were filthy and had plates and trash all over them. Pull it together guys I’m routing for you.

I heard this place is like chuck e cheese with a gourmet menu the options are certainly different they have kale salad, ceviche and chimichurri steak on the menu. My kids were having a great time on the games and i had a deal for the pizza so i ordered it. they don’t even have the pizza on the menu which was weird they just kind of tell you what kinds they have. he said they had a chicken and they also had a wild mushroom. I love mushrooms so I had to have the roasted chicken with wild mushrooms and not a single wild mushroom just button mushrooms that looked like they had sat in the refrigerator too long that they had dried up they had shrunk and shriveled — the first bite was like a punch in the face of garlic. they said roasted garlic so you can expect garlicky but the thing about roasted garlic is that it’s a sweet not stinky. so it was more like fresh garlic not roasted garlic sauce. and the dough was way too doughy almost undercooked and mushy. My kids did have a great time playing the games and it’s big and roomy and the games aren’t too expensive. I’d have to try their other menu items but the pizza is not their thing. They say there’s a chef in the kitchen she should know better than to serve soggy dough and rubber chicken and dry button mushrooms and call them wild mushrooms. 3 stars for fun 0 stars for the pizza. if i could give negative I would.
