G & G Granite

Okay, for those of you that don’t want the details… If you’re looking for any fabricated slab stone, make sure you contact G & G. They are responsive, easy to deal with, cost effective, and customer oriented with a remarkably quick turnaround.
So, after striking out many other places I came to Unilocal looking for granite counter tops for my kitchen, and read a review for G & G which stated… «If you’re looking for granite counter tops, stop looking. You’ve found them» I couldn’t agree more.
I read that review, and reached out to Richard at G & G via email (among others) with the information requested on their website to receive a proposal. Basically just a dimensioned sketch and a picture is all he needed, easy.
Within a couple of hours I received a competitive proposal via email, and after a phone call with Richard I had an address to go to look at the stone in person. Now, for clarity my project was a simple U shaped kitchen, which allowed me to go with prefabricated counter and island pieces, so that’s where Richard sent me to look. I should mention though that they did modify the peninsula piece with a very clean radius edge on one side so their fabrication capabilities are great as well.
I went to look the next day, and of course didn’t like the inexpensive one I chose from the pictures, but did find one I liked. I communicated this with Richard, he made the necessary modifications, and scheduled Gagik to measure the next morning. Gagik arrived on time the next morning and made his basic dimentioned sketch. I’ve gotta add this, I’ve been in construction for decades and have seen everything from digitizers to plot the stone to making templates with wood and a glue gun. Gagik made a basic sketch, and it worked perfectly. He knows his stuff, like old school craftsman style, period.
So… Today is Monday, the sixth day after I initially reached out to Richard and my counter tops are installed and look awesome. I watched the installation process while trying not to seem like I was watching. Gagik does indeed pay attention to the details, and as a Contractor and tradesman who cares I genuinely respect that, it’s rare these days.
And finally, just when I was about to begin this review my phone rang. It was Richard calling to make sure I was happy. Really? Yep.
And yes, I’ll post some pictures but I gotta figure out how…

I called around looking for a granite countertops and I needed them installed as well. I was so lucky I found Gagik and Richard. The work was immaculate and they gave me a great deal on installation as well as the material. I love my kitchen now! Thanks so much guys, I highly recommend using them.

My project came out perfect! I’m a designer, and I needed a company that did not only have granite and marble counter tops, but I have a very difficult fabrication/​installation job as well. I was referred to Richard and Gagik by a friend, and I am so glad I listened. The wet bar design came out absolutely perfect and my client was amazed. They were very professional and patient with me. So, 5 star for G & G if I could give them a 10 star I would. Thank you guys !!!

What a beautiful Job! Our kitchen and Bathroom countertops came out perfectly, Richard and Gagik were very good to work with. These guys went the extra mile for us, and didn’t charge us extra for the finer details I asked for. I strongly recommend these guys!

Only good things to say about this company. Their first guy had a flat tire on the way over here so they moved mountains making sure somebody showed up and took care of my needs. I needed some granite cut so I could remove an appliance and they were quick, capable and helpful. It was a small job but they treated it like it was big one.

I had to find someone to cut the opening on my quartz counters to fit my new range. The counters were installed a few years ago by someone else but he didn’t want to come by and correct his miscalculated work. I finally bought a new range so I had to make sure it would fit before delivery.
Luckily I found G&G Marble and setup an appointment for the following day. I was concerned about the dust getting all over the house. The installer, David told me not to worry and that he would use a wet cutting technique to minimize airborne dust. He cut the opening perfectly (freehand) then polished the edges several times and finished the job perfectly.
I’m absolutely satisfied with the job and I’m glad I was able to find these guys.

I am so so glad i found G&G granite! I am a Real Estate Agent and was tasked by client to find one company that could do it all. My seller needed to buy granite and have fabricated and installed .I called around everyone they either installed or sold granite no one did both. After finding G & G granite Got my sellers extra $ 50,000 !In my opinion because of the wonderful work in the update Kitchen and bathrooms .If you need inexpensive granite or marble and expert installation no better company,

Hooray for G & G Granite! I called around Unilocal for a company that sold granite countertops and do fabrication and installation as well, and had no luck. I found Richard and Gagik and not only could they fabricate marble countertops they also supplied the marble for me at a significantly lower than anyone else I called. The work was beautiful and I would highly recommend G&G GRANITE to anyone who needs material and installation done all by one company.

I am a realtor and I recently helped my clients leased out their house. After the tenants moved in, we found out on one side of the kitchen counter top the granite was sticking out too far at the end of the counter top. In order to fit a fridge, we either have to get a smaller fridge or trim about ½ inch to ¾ of an inch. I called my handyman and was told that he was not confident to do the job since he did not want to take a chance to crack the entire counter top. I then got on Unilocal and called several other companies and feeling very frustrated since all of them told me the job is too small for them to do. Luckily, I found G & G Granite. Richard was the one answered the phone and after I explained to him about my situation, he asked me to send over a photo of the counter top and was able to give me a quote and schedule the work on the spot. I know that he had to go out of his way to come out here since I am in inland empire. However, Richard did not make a big deal out of it and was able to come out, and did an excellent job. I am glad I found G & G and will refer my clients to them in the future.

G & G Granite to the rescue! It is a renovation time and this time my project (read significant other) required a marble counter-​top and granite counter-​top material and installation. I am a «proud handyman» myself, but installing counter-​tops that cost a lot are a NO-​NO for me, so I needed a company that not only would provide the materials, but install it in our kitchen and bathrooms too. I was kind of stressed (being stressed) and had short amount of time to finish everything before… The other companies I called either only had material or did not do their own fabrication and installation. Richard was very helpful and knowledgeable and gave us a great price (that’s a plus), and Gagik made the installation smooth and painless. These guys are great and I recommend them highly.

I have mixed feelings about g & g granite.
From the start Richard and Gagik were very responsive and service oriented, and incredibly prompt. And they were very helpful when I was at their slab yard. However, I did not find their prices competitive or even fair. From research, I knew my kitchen job was small in comparison to many other jobs (just 2’x9’ countertop + 4“x 9′ backsplash strip + remnant of stone for the area behind the stove, that’s about 26 sq ft), and that if I found the right yard with the remnants I wanted I wouldn’t have to break my piggy bank.
At g & g’s yard I found a white quartz remnant I was looking for. However they wanted to charge $ 600 for the 3’x9’ piece I had found (whole slab costs $ 800 – 930 and is more than twice that size) and charge $ 1700 for labor. The labor they priced out include cutting for an undermount sink which they valued at $ 150 and a $ 450 fee for opting for a straight mitered edge. Working with g & g my countertops would have costed me $ 2500.
The numbers frustrated me when I did more research at other slab yards (always do this, especially if you’re a woman it seems — sadly the world is like this). I found out that the average Labor Cost for a countertop project of my size can be somewhere between $ 500-​$ 800 and that many places INCLUDE options like cutting for an undermount sink AND an mitered edge. The price for the same slab I was interested in remained the same so where I really saved money was in the labor. Now my total cost for the countertops is $ 1200! So glad I did my research and but very disappointed by my experience in the end at G & G.
I will say however, that many slab yards, for better or worse (worse) seem to make their income from charging clients for a an entire slab and then they recycle those remnants to another customer for nearly the same price. Very annoying, but it seems like a fight you can’t really win.

From start to finish the service, quality of work was excellent. The business owner was hands on with the cutting, detailing, and installing with three other guys even for my small scale project. Thank you and I will not hesitate to work with your company again.

Stop looking, you found the best countertop installers! The price was great, literally half the price of Home Depot and you don’t have to pay to get a quote. They came out as schedule and did the demolition. They cleaned up and didn’t damage anything accidentally. I chose the slab and got to go visit their fabrication shop to see the progress. On installation day, they came in and got it done in a few hours. They have a can-​do attitude and worked with me as I changed a few things in the original layout.

Very nice guys and easy to work with. I shopped around for awhile and found this company to be the best priced for a quality job. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I purchased a pre-​cut granite countertop, backsplash and sidesplash from Lowes for our master bathroom renovation. When we took everything out of the box, we realized that the sidesplash was cut an inch too long. We didn’t order the wrong one. The item was just an inch longer than it was supposed to be. So I found G&G Granite on Unilocal and called them up on a Friday afternoon. I explained my predicament to Richard, who was incredibly helpful and courteous, and he assured me that they could help me out. The following day, I met Gagik, the owner, at his shop (on a Saturday no less) and he was happy to cut an inch off of the end of my sideplash for me. Gagik wouldn’t let me give him any money for the work that he did. I can honestly say that Gagik was one of the nicest and most helpful people that I’ve ever come in contact with. I only wish that I had met him before we did the granite in our kitchen. The contractor that cut and installed our granite was really difficult to deal with and if I could go back in time and give the business to Gagik I would. He’ll be the first and only person I call with any granite needs we may have in any future houses and I’m going to tell all of my friends to call Gagik when they’re renovating kitchens or bathrooms.

Just had carrara marble installed for our new kitchen remodel. Richard & owner Gagik were great to work with. They were able to measure and install in less than a week. I back their business 100%.

I was helping a friend with a remodel in LA and we found G & G Granite online. They had the exact style of granite countertop we were looking for and at a great price compared to many of the other places we checked out. We had them install granite in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Their work was top notch and the new granite made the house look brand new. Definitely check them out!
