Dynamic Physical and Hand Therapy

Peter Chirico treated my 80 year old mother horrendously this morning when she returned with additional questions about her coverage and charges. She had been in the office the day before, and after doing some calling on her own to check on her coverages and deductibles, returned with additional information. Peter was indignant at having his work from the previous day questioned, insisting to my mother that she didn’t have Medicare. Clue #1 about his shoddy work — that he couldn’t confirm this relatively easily. He went on to say in a very brusque manner «we spent an hour on this yesterday!» Clue # 2 about what a boor this guy is — he further told her «You can take your business elsewhere!»
My Mom felt humiliated and left in tears. In fairness, he didn’t know my Mom is recently widowed after being with my Dad for almost 60 years, but it shouldn’t matter. His rudeness and the discourteous way he treated her are disgraceful. He hung up on me when I called him. Sorry excuse for a health professional.

Okay so Dynamics was recommended to me by my orthopedic surgeon after my second, more serious, rotator cuff surgery and I can honestly say that the program outlined for me got me back to full and complete range of motion and back to the competitive sports (basketball and softball) I enjoy. Having had PT numerous times throughout my active life, I know what to expect… and what’s expected of me. The staff at Dynamics made it very easy and comfortable for me… from meeting my schedule, to creating a program that works and challenges me, to ensuring the dreaded insurance aspect is addressed. PT is NOT something someone goes to and says «Fix me»…I had to be committed to the program. At first I thought it wasn’t challenging enough but I realized that the extent of my rotator cuff injury required a more conservative approach and the end result speaks for itself.
The staff at Dynamics is outstanding… I can’t speak for what others say or experienced… and quite frankly, don’t understand, but for me, Dynamics PT is great and highly recommended.

My husband recently had an accident and he was recommended to this facility by his orthopedist.
I have dealt with many offices during my career, whether medical offices, attorneys’ offices, and I have never come across an unprofessional office and staff as this office. My husband and I recently contacted this office and attempted to speak to someone to get some explanation of charges which seemed to be not only excessive but outrageous. We were charged $ 6,000 for 11 visits for basic 20 minute physical therapy.
First, no one ever returned our calls after leaving a message twice. My husband then followed up with a third call only to be connected to the therapist, who was rude, unprofessional and to our surprise, hung up on him because he could not explain his charges, but rather told both of us to contact some lien company who had bought their lien. At this point it was clear what a scam this place runs. They overcharge their patients only to then sell their liens to some financial health facility who again inflates their bills and tries to make money at the expense of the patients. My husband was never advised of this before his therapy and the reason he went there 11 times because he figured out what a scam this place is running and how rude these so called therapist is.
After being hung up on twice, we decided to write a letter to them directly to which we never got a response back. We then decided to contact our attorney and were advised that a complaint is in order not only against the facility for their unprofessional misconduct, but also the excessive charges amongst many other allegations. We will also file a complaint against the license for the physical therapist who did not even have the decency to speak to us and explain the charges. Would not recommend this place to an enemy!

I went here for a knee injury a few years ago. I think the main PT is good at hand stuff, but my knee therapy was kind of a joke. It was 100% stuff I was able to do at home, so it was silly for me to be paying for it. I would have thought they’d say they don’t see many knee injuries and refer me elsewhere, but I guess not.

I have had many injuries and seen many physical therapy places but this one made me extremely nervous for many reasons
1. The first time I went in for my «evaluation» it was like a hospital with multiple patients and a curtain in between. The therapist spoke very softly and made it difficult to know what he was saying
2. There is only two certified therapist
3. They allow «no trained» people to «practice» on you
4. The staff is «older» therefore it also concerned me as to how old the treatment they were using was.
Since physical therapy can can either make you better or worse depending on the treatment, I wanted to make sure to make people aware.
The good side is that prior to my visit the recepionist got all my insurance information and called me back to let me know how much each visit would cost and how many visits my insurance paid for a year.
