Dr. Curcuruto adjusted my lesson/​half-​lease horse a few months ago. He adjusted her withers and her hip area. First I observed that he checked her jaw. The mare was curious yet cooperative with Dr. Curcuruto, and seemed to know she was being helped. Her back was positive to the touch afterward.

Dr. Curcuruto is a magus of a highest degree in the physical body healing arts! My husband suffered a neck pain and on and off numbness for 6 – 7 years. We had reservations about anything that is not main stream medicine. Our Kaiser insurance doesn’t cover this visits and we paid out of pocket — very reasonable by the way!
The office is busy but well run. Free parking in the back.
After the manipulation my husband’s pain was GONE GONE GONE!

I haven’t used Dr. Curcuruto as a human chiropractor, but as an equine chiropractor I was very disappointed. A summary of the pros/​cons:

Ineffective & irresponsible — Dr. Curcuruto took less than two minutes to «adjust» my horse, after which I saw zero improvement. Five days later I called another equine chiropractor who came out and spent about 30 minutes adjusting my horse and my horse was immediately improved and returned to work. I called Dr. Curcuruto to inform him that the adjustment did not work, and invite him to return the fee I paid, but he chose not to return my call.
I would not recommend this guy as an equine chiro, this bordered on charlatanry.

I injured my back on a weekend and I was desperate for help… so I Unilocaled and found this office in my neighborhood. The office staff was pleasant and helpful, and Dr. Cucuruto diagnosed my problem very quickly. His therapy was up-​to-​date and much less invasive than other chiropractors who have treated me in the past. I’d go back just for the table that tilts you from vertical to horizontal!

Dr. Curcuruto is amazing. He’s a no frills, no fuss kind of guy that gets the problem fixed. He’ll be honest and let you know how it is and what kind of treatment you need and for how long. He doesn’t just try to get you to come in to take your money because he knows that times are hard and not everyone getting treatment can go through their health insurance. I admit, I only go when I really need to but only because $ 40 to $ 45 per adjustment is pretty steep when it’s out of pocket, but so worth it when it gets the problem fixed. I think the first adjustment and consultation is a little bit more because of the assessment but thereafter, it’s about $ 40 to $ 45, with an additional $ 2 for credit card. If you need a chiropractor, Dr. Curcuruto is it!

Dr Charles Curcuruto has been my chiropractor — forever! He has been «fixing me» since 1979 — Wow — over 33 years — Seriously he is the best chiropractor in the world and I have to drive all the way from Westside into the Valley to see him.
I have a condition known as Scoliosis of the spine, which my spine is bent in an S curve. Every other chiropractor that I have met has never been able to do chiropractic movement to «crack» my back — EXCEPT Dr. Curcuruto is the only person who can manipulate my back and «crack» it with no problem. I am amazed every time he can do it since my condition makes it very, very difficult, if at all, that a Chiropractor can «crack» my back. So I will never let him «retire»!
And I even tried a woman chiropractor (with a gift certificate and did not want to offend the person who gave me the gift). This woman chiropractor who shall remain nameless used the Chirpractic contraption (see below) which was suppose to crack my back, but all it did was irritate it more — so much that I had to go back to Dr Curcuruto.
I highly suggest that prior to any chiropractic work done (even if its been over a year) that you get an x-​ray of your spine and neck to make sure that you don’t have any herniated disks. My friend had a herniated disk and went to the Chiropractor who fixed his sore arms and legs; only to end up in the emergency hospital to find out that it was a herniated disk in his neck. Which he had to get surgery in his neck to remove the herniated disk before it cut into to his spinal cord and could paralyzed him. So its better to find out what shape your spine and neck disks are before you do any chiropractic adjustments.
Whatever you do, do not have anyone use the Chiropractic contraption (seems to be used by many women chiropractors these days) which you lay on and the Chiropractor pushes down on your back and the device does all the work which it automatically is suppose to quickly snap it so that it cracks. What a joke! Dr Curcuruto does not use this device since he manually manipulates your back the old fashion way.
Luckily I found Dr. Curcuruto from another retired Chiropractor who told me that the Dean of her Chiropractic College went to see Dr Curcuruto himself. I figured that if the Dean of the Chiropractic College who could see any one for treatment, and was seeing Dr Curcuruto, then Dr Curcuruto was definitely the «go to person» for my condition.
So if you are having problems, you need to see Dr Curcuruto several times before he is able to get you up and going.
I had to write this review — and now I am scared I won’t get my favorite time slot when I see hm. He only works Mon, Weds, Fri and half a day on Saturday… so as it is… its tough to see him cause he gets pretty booked.
Mama-​san my 83 years old mother, loves Dr Curcuruto also — and he loves her!
His office is located in the Media District Chiropractic Offices which has several other Chiropractors — but do not go to any other chiropractor except Dr.Curcuruto.since he is the BEST!

Dr. Curcuruto is the world’s best chiropractor! I schlep all the way to Burbank from West L.A. to see him because there’s no one half as good on the westside. His hands have a Ph.D. He is sensitive and non-​intrusive. He does skillful adjustments that give me immediate and lasting relief from back and neck pain. His cranial work is the best in the field! — and there’s no way to hold an adjustment without the cranial tune-​up.
I highly recommend him!

Dr. Charles Curcuruto is just THE BEST Chiropractor out there! Bar none! He is like a gentle giant that works magic with his technique of releasing all those pinched nerves or misaligned vertebrae due to work and stress.
I just recently had this worst pinch nerve that spread pain along my whole right lower back. I could not concentrate at work and I could not enjoy my bike riding. I left a message for Dr. Charles and he immediately returned my call and accommodated me and gave me an appointment at my earliest convenience. He adjusted the areas where I felt pain and he adjusted other areas that he found needing adjustment without me asking for it. You can tell that he loves his profession and it clearly shows in his work and how he cares for the well being of his patients! If you have back pains and can’t find a remedy and are contemplating cortisone shots or pain relievers, please contact Dr. Charles Curcuruto and do yourself a favor. Highly recommended!!!

I’ve tried so many but, trust me, Charles is the BEST! Can’t say enough good things about him. He is the only chiropractor I’ll go to and I recommend him highly.
