Hello! :D I’m Charlene ~ The Life Sorceress, your classy + playful coach, helping creative women create their magical life.

Through my process, we work through various and/​or combined forms of energy healing {such as Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy, and ThetaHealing}, perhaps a bit of angel magic, and most definitely some Intuitive Angel Readings. On top of that, I also throw in a side of coaching to inspire you into action!

I absolutely love the creative process + witnessing positive, beautiful transformations in every one of my clients! ;D

History

Established in 2008.

I started Ethereal Oasis to offer a unique selection of services for the community, as well as a personal touch that can only be found in a small business. Ethereal Oasis focuses on the individual as a «whole,» pampering and transforming your skin + soul with services including calming facials known to soothe one to sleep, and intuitively-​led Reiki/​Integrated Energy Therapy treatments to connect you to your Divine-​self!

While Charlene (owner & esthetician of Ethereal Oasis) always had an interest in skincare + the esoterics, it was only after being in the video post production industry for almost 10 years that she realized her calling was in helping others radiate their beautiful souls by feeling and looking their best.

She believes that working with her clients is more than maintaining their skin health. It’s about relaxing, healing, and connecting them with their body, mind, and spirit.

This passion for nurturing, led her to get certified as an Integrated Energy Therapy® Master-​Instructor, Reiki II + Advanced ThetaHealing practitioner, Holistic Life Coach, and Advanced Angel Card Reading with Doreen Virtue, PhD and Radleigh Valentine.

I’ve been going to Charlene for facials now for over a year and I can’t say enough about her and her studio. Although I had enjoyed an occasional facial prior to moving to L.A., it was never a regularly scheduled occasion. I hadn’t really worried much about my skin, aside from using sunscreen daily. Once I stumbled upon Ethereal Oasis and had my first facial with Charlene, I changed that attitude! I have changed my skincare routine at home, changed the products I use (after herguidance), and try to schedule more frequent/​routine facials.
I can attest to anyone wondering that Charlene is an excellent esthetician and the experience of having a facial with her leaves you with amazingly clean, smooth, glowing skin and the whole thing is relaxing and soothing! Love it!

I love going to see Charlene and getting my lashes tinted and curled! Her studio is very tranquil and relaxing. It’s like a mini oasis in Burbank! She does a great job at making you feel comfortable and happy with her services. The eye lash tint and curl looks awesome and I will keep going back for more treatments!

Charlene is awesome. I have been going to her for eyelash tints and «lash lift» which is a new version of an old school lash perm. She’s fantastic, the space is really tranquil and the lash lift and tint last much longer than any others I have received in the past!

Received my first Clarify Me Now facial. It did sting briefly but nothing unbearable. No pain, no gain! I’ve scheduled my next 2 appointments already so hopefully I can have clear skin soon.
Just remember to leave yourself a couple of extra minutes for street parking.

I had my first facial with Charlene at her new facility in Burbank. It’s very small, but intimate and inviting. I loved all the products she used and thought she was very thorough in giving my skin personalized care. On top of all that, Charlene is just a very sweet person. We got lost in conversation and I accidentally got ten extra minutes of pampering time. My skin felt great after the treatment and my boyfriend even commented that I looked refreshed and well-​rested. I would definitely come back here again.

Charlene did a great job on my eyelash tint and curl!
It was the first time I had done both and WOW was it amazing. I already have dark lashes but the tint really did make them pop! Charlene was warm and attentive in explaining everything she was doing. The spa was clean and cute. I felt very comfortable. The curl has lasted about a month so I feel like it was well worth it!

Charlene, the owner, is a sweetheart; felt very comfortable and could trust her advice. It’s really great when you can trust your esthetician. Unfortunately, even with how great Charlene’s treatment was– my skin was still congested a couple weeks after. It’s too bad that my skin didn’t respond well to the treatment, but in any case I definitely recommend her! So schedule your appointment with her now! :)

Went in again yesterday to pamper my face and Charlene did an amazing job as always!
So sad that I am moving so far away :(But I will definitely schedule appointments when I am in town, because she is just that good!
I had the Glow and Go facial, which is a shorter 45 minute version of the longer Heavenly Glow facial. The idea is to exfoliate, detox your skin and to oxygenate it to improve and rejuvenate your skin.
I left feeling a million times better than when I walked in, because my skin was firmer and felt so refreshed.
I’m going back in two weeks for a mini-​facial just as a touch up before I leave for my trip. I will definitely miss her services after I move away, but hopefully I can pop in once and a while. She is the best in the Valley by far.

What an amazing experience! I went in for the hour-​long «Ethereal facial» that my boyfriend purchased for me via the Unilocal deal ($ 60 for $ 100… woohoo!), and my expectations were blown away!
Charlene provided an incredibly relaxing and therapeutic experience, and left my skin feeling cleaner than ever! She is also very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions — and I had much to ask.
I can’t wait to come in again, and maybe try out her reiki energy healing too!

Charlene did a great job. I was about to go on vacation so I wanted to make sure I had great skin. I used the Unilocal ad and had an hour plus long facial.
This was my first facial, so I don’t have much to base it on. My pores were pretty clogged, and she definitely cleared them out.
As this was my first facial, I’m not sure if this is normal (especially for someone with my clogged pores) but my forehead looked broken out because of all the extractions. It eventually went away and my skin was looking great.
That’s probably normal, but that’s the only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars. I also bought a botanical face scrub that I’m pretty happy with. I switched from an apricot scrub.
To Charlene’s credit — as I was leaving I forgot my fairly expensive gold and emerald earrings (gift from my mom) and she immediately called me, and waited for me to come back and pick them up even though she was closed. It’s always great to meet an honest and friendly person!

With Charlene, you really get the COMPLETE package — incredible results, expertise, and a wonderful experience. Prior to arriving at the studio, I had just been bombarded with a lot of stressful information and was hoping to just be able to hold it together for our scheduled appointment. Within minutes of being around Charlene’s positive and radiant energy, I was already feeling 10 times better.
During the Ethereal Mini facial with a la carte Vitamin Infusion treatment, I could feel the organic products working on a few different layers of my face. The extraction allowed build up and debri from clogged pores to be removed. I was in awe when I felt my face — I don’t remember it ever being so smooth and soft!
She’s so great with suggestion specific products and skincare regiments that are specifically tailored to you and your skin. Every step of the way, Charlene was providing me amazing tips and tools (ex. I never knew that skin gets addicted to benzyl peroxide and then doesn’t learn how to heal on its own when constantly using benzyl peroxide) and checking in to see how my experience and results could be the best.
Also, I was so happy to see my normally very very stiff lashes beautifully curled after a perm. Charlene has been the only one who has ever been able to curl them. Afterwards, she applied some NaturaLash extensions and not a SINGLE person asked me if they were fake! People just kept commenting on how lucky I was to have such naturally long and beautiful lashes.

So… I went back to Ethereal Oasis, I really was impressed with Charlene the first time we met. I wanted to return and discuss a service she offers that I have been thinking of getting, Lash Extensions. For a while I was concerned for the cost and also I had a few areas on my eye that I was not sure they could cover. We talked about it during my first visit and I was convinced by her knowledge that it was going to be able to cover the area where I wanted to have lashes… She also had an amazing price so I was happy!
I walked in with out an appointment and she had time later that day because it takes a few hours. After it was done, It was UNREAL! I could no longer see the area where I had missing issues with my lashes! They were full and lush! They looked like I had mascara on!
I will return to get my lash maintenance and also my facials!
Everyone needs this! i love not wearing mascara!

I received the best facial from Charlene at this quaint little spot on Ventura. She really knows her stuff when it comes to the treatment of your skin. I enjoyed the products which left my face glowing and they smelled AMAZING. The detox facial is really good for skin stimulation. Ask for Charlene she is a sweetheart!

I recently had an Integrated Energy Therapy (IET) session with Charlene a few months ago. She is a very good listener and has great positive energy. My healing session took about an hour, but I could have stayed for hours. It was very relaxing and calm. Her touch was warm and she was well experienced in what she was doing. I felt very safe with her.
This was my first session and the information about my life and path was very insightful. I left the session able to answer some personal questions I had not thought to ask. I haven’t seen Charlene since she added Reiki to her IET service, but am looking forward to receiving this enhanced healing! I’ve already made my appointment! Her rates are the most reasonable I’ve seen, and I wouldn’t want to spend it anywhere else!
