Crystal Lounge @ Holiday Inn

We did not expect to love this place, honestly. We live in the area and are always looking for new places to try. We came here half as a joke, because the other Unilocal reviews are so glowing, and half because my credit card got extra points on hotel charges that weekend. Which, I think, perfectly describes the sort of person this place is made for. If you are 30, and looking for a relaxing drink and an even more relaxing view of the 5, this place will amaze you.
Perhaps I’m underselling it. It’s like someone read my mind that night, and quickly built this place while we were on our way up the elevator. If I were running a place, and could only pick three beers to have on tap, it would be an IPA, an amber ale, and a stout. Guess which only three beers they had!
There were other perfect details too. The music was at the exact right volume to have a conversation with the person next to you. Also, that night, they were exclusively playing theme songs from classic James Bond movies. It worked for them, I don’t know.
Give this place a chance if you want a relaxing drink with a close friend or spouse, is all I’m saying. I would remove a star because the place is overpriced, but they don’t have enough reviews right now to bear that out, I feel like it would mess with the average more than it deserves.

Although I did not stay at the hotel, it was very nice. I had a little difficulty finding the tower to the lounge. Parking inside the garage is reasonable after 5 pm for $ 8. The lounge is cozy and has a nice view of Burbank. Drinks from the bar are also reasonable, especially compared to other places.

We held a fundraiser at the Lounge. Del was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process.
The fundraiser was a success and all the guests enjoyed themselves. The drinks are reasonably priced, you can order food from downstairs, the place is spacious and well decorated, clean, and THAT VIEW!!! Amazing.
We’ll be back!

Aside from being a little difficult to find, and closing early (midnight), this place is great! It’s nearly empty, quiet, and inexpensive.
I came here with a sizable group and we were able to spread out with plenty of leg room, and still be close enough to hear one another chatting.
As a bonus the views are spectacular. And parking in the area is easy.

My friends and I are somewhat of regulars here. We like it a lot, it’s a really chill bar, good prices, usually not a lot of people. The staff is friendly, cool view from the top.
