This place is great. Best prices! Great staff! Tony is the man for getting you industry standard head shots. I was very happy with the color and quality of the print and cardstock used! Can’t wait to send these out to agencies!

We needed a sign for our wedding with less than a week before the big day. Not only were they quick, but they were very communicative during the whole process. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for — a nice sign!

Color Images is always the best! I have to get random odd orders printed for my boss, and I always go to Color Images to figure out the best way to get it done and get it looking the way she wants. They’re super great about giving me proofs to make sure it will be exactly what she had in mind. Tony has been especially helpful! Everyone working there is very quick and friendly.

They were great! Fast and through service! Bought a coupon on Unilocal and saved $ 15. Rachel was awesome!

I always come here to print my headshots. Tony is super nice and helpful, he’ll do the set up of he picture and put your name. The quality of the paper and printing is very good and the price is very reasonable

Come here for quality head shot printing! I live pretty far and it was worth the drive. After purchasing the Unilocal deal and speaking with Tony, I know I’ll be back time and time again!
He even sat with me at a computer to help adjust my resume format. I’m not particularly savvy with documents at times so I am very grateful! The results were on par :) FYI If you’re within a 20 mile radius, and need a trustworthy place with quick turnaround, it’s worth the drive ;)

I’ve been coming here to get headshots printed for a few years. They offer great quality and fast turnaround at more than reasonable prices. Tony is in charge of formatting and printing headshots, and he is the man!!! I went in today to get some new stuff printed for the new year. Tony formatted my pictures and had proofs for me in 10 minutes and had 150 copies made in an additional 20 minutes. I used the deal they offer through Unilocal and only spent about $ 85. Quit wasting your hard earned money on places that charge you more for less quality. Thanks again to Tony and the staff at Color Images!

I did a Google search to get my head shot printed. Color Images was in close vicinity. So I went with them. I spoke to Tony. My order was placed online.
Tony did some follow up with me, and 24-​hrs later… My customized minimum order of fifty (50) head shots were ready for pickup. Conveniently located on Olive Ave near Buena Vista. Fast and friendly service.
And now, I’m up late writing a review to find out that if I searched Unilocal first or checked in, I could have saved some bucks if I spent a few bucks more… Oh well. Maybe, next time.

This is the very best spot for production printing in Burbank. Service is 5 star one stop shop for almost everything thing you need printed.

In my rush to get a book printed before thanksgiving break for my final; (Dynamic Sketching at Art Center) I sent my book in pdf format to Color Images, who said that they would be able to get it to me within 3 days or so. I got an email the next day; I could pick it up the same day. When I went to collect my book’s pages, it turned out that I had set it up wrongly, such that each individual page was cut (as though for perfect binding) instead of spreads. Despite having other customers and being near closing time, Andrew helped me rearrange my inDesign file and export a pdf that would work, and printed the new pages and cut them really quickly. I was in and out within the hour. I also didn’t get charged for the first print, even though it really was my miss with the file set-​up. I really appreciated that!
Also to ACCD students; the print came out really nicely; colours were accurate and the print was crisp; having the pages cut for you was also a huge help, if you’re binding your book by hand. :)
I was panicking a lot because I needed to leave time to bind my book by hand, but the efficiency at Color Images really helped me out. I’m really grateful and happy with my first experience here. :)

I have known Tony now and worked with him for the last 5 years. Both business and for personal projects, most recently, for my wedding. He works quickly, carefully, and diligently. He will always take a minute to help you. He has made anything from post boards, to stickers, to invitations for me and I am always extremely satisfied. Some items are definitely fairly priced, a few a little more on the pricey side, but to be honest, the service is so amazing that it doesn’t really bother me, because I always am satisfied. I trust his work ethic. How much better does it get than that?! TONY YOU’RE THE BEST!!!

Terrible customer service. The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful, but one of the male printers was incredibly rude. This is the guy with long hair and glasses. His passive aggressive behavior was uncalled for. I was polite, so maybe he was having a bad day, but that is not an excuse to be rude to customers. This guy was continuously condescending and rude! He kept me waiting for the more important customers, who had a bigger order. I noticed that he was kissing their asses heavily; his mannerisms completely changed. Then, he returned to disrespecting me. This guy has the art of being passive aggressive down perfectly.
After waiting for over an hour, I got overcharged for a printing job at $ 20, which had a blurry image and ink splatter. Today, I went to another printer to get the same job (without the defects) for fifty cents in ten minutes! No exaggeration.
Unless you’re spending thousands of dollars here, you obviously aren’t welcome and will be treated with contempt, as if you’re not worth their time.

I found this place on a whim looking for an emergency solution to some art prints for conventions. I have been printing here for a couple of months now, and the quality and customer service is beyond excellent!
What really stood out to me was a day I needed to emergency print some posters for a flight the next morning, and there was an error while uploading my images and hadn’t noticed until it was close to pick up and closing time… in a frenzy, I called them, and Tony was able to crank out a huge order in absolute record time, saving my life and the event!!! Thank you to Tony, Rachel, and everyone else who has been SO helpful and really hook it up with quality stuff. I will remain a regular for a long time.

I was recommended this place by multiple animation/​artists friends (I’m an animator) and from now on I will print here. They are extremely efficient, super nice, and they are always on time or early. I love that they can print custom sizes, this place is a dream come true for any artist making prints! Even parking is easy.
In terms of quality from what I can tell it’s very great for the price (meaning it was cheaper than I expected for how good it looked). This place would be great for printing one image, or hundreds of images. I’m even printing more of my order I picked up today because I was so impressed.
Obviously everyone in there is very busy but I also felt customer service was THE BEST out of any printing place I’ve ever been too. I’ve gotten a lot of flack from places like fed ex or staples, and here they just want to make you happy and work with you. The collaboration is great!

Just wished there was a closer south orange county location! Staff is super friendly and they have a super copier that allows them to print approx 6000 – 8000 in a VERY short turnaround time. The price is VERY reasonable and I visit this place approximately 5 – 8 times per year. At other printing places, this same job would take approximately 2 weeks to complete.
I suggest that if you make the commute to pick up bulk copies, you consider making a evening of it. Since you’re in Entertainmentville –there’s a lot to get into: eat, be entertained, and see in the Burbank/​Hollywoodish/​almost Sherman Oakish type area…

I chose Color Images Copy & Print because they had really great reviews. I usually do my printing through uprinting because of the ease of ordering through their website. But, uprinting does not do 27×40 mounted posters, which is a standard at film festivals.
I called and spoke with Sara. She was able to give me a quote over the phone. I was shocked to know that the postcards could be done same day and the poster the next day. That’s fast!
We got 250 4×6 postcards for $ 50 and 27×40 mounted poster for $ 67. I bought their Unilocal deal and got $ 15 off.
I wasn’t able to upload the images through their site because the files were too big. They do accept wetransfer through their email. Sara was able to help me with that. Also she checked the bleed.
The postcards and poster came out great. We will definetly use them again.

Just came here for the first time and boy– these guys know what they are doing! Super fast, knowledgeable and helpful. My DVD designs were slightly off, so they fixed it in no time.
Tony was a joy to work with and figured everything out all my questions. The prints look amazing; the prizes are reasonable. I couldn’t be more happier and will come back here for any of my printing needs.

The BEST place to get things printed. Especially headshots. Tony is my go to guy and has been handling my prints there for over 2 years now. Everyone else in the shop is very nice as well.
They print 50 (and can do up to four headshots, split up) for around $ 30! Great quality. They will also print your resumes on 8×10 paper so you don’t have to worry about trimming them ever again. And that’s ridiculously cheap.
It’s insane to me that people still go to argentum and the other companies that print for $ 90 or more.
I’ve seen their other work as well — prints waiting to get picked up of fliers, giant posters/​banners and even books and each one looks incredibly professional and makes me wish I had cool things like that to get printed hah!
A cool little spot that I’m glad I found a few years ago!

I don’t usually write negative reviews but I was really not satisfied with my experience at this place and it has ended up costing me money. I have described below in detail my experience. You can scroll to the bottom for a summary of why I am giving the business a low review…

I needed to print a photo of a painting. I called beforehand to get a quote for how much it cost to get a same day single color print using archival inks at a specific size. I was quoted a price of «around $ 10». That sounded great and told them I’d drive over to the shop.
When I got there, the first guy I spoke to looked nervous and said I could not get a print done the same day. I told him that I had just spoken over the phone with someone who had specificially said it was possible to get a same day print. At this point, the person I spoke to on the phone came over and took over.
We took a look at the image and I told him the size I wanted printed. I told him this was my first time printing an image and asked if the print was the right resolution for the size. He said it looked good on the computer. And I was like «Okay great.»
He then asked if I wanted to print on a laser printer since it would be $ 1 vs $ 10 a print. I told him that I was under the impression that archival prints don’t fade as quickly. He gave me a confusing explanation that laser and archival ink prints both last the same but that archival inks do last longer depending on how much sunlight there is. I said that I wanted to print archival because I didn’t know where the person was going to hang their print. He then told me that if I went with archival he would have to charge me for the wasted paper used but I would be getting 2 extra prints at the total price of $ 28. He had not mentioned this over the phone. It was at this point I should have walked away but I didn’t because I just wanted to get the job done and figured the pictures would be of decent quality and I could make my money back eventually by selling the other two prints.
So we print the picture. It took about 15 minutes. The print falls on the floor. I check it out and do not notice a scratch because I am more concerned with the print quality which is not good. It’s blurry in the finer areas I ask him about it and he says that it’s due to the image resolution. But i had asked him about it earlier and he said it looked fine. I should have said something here again, but I decided to accept it. When I looked at the image on my computer it is clearly the printer that is of low detail quality not the image.
I then ask the guy to cut it leaving a bit of a border on the print but he refuses because he doesn’t want the cutters to do it wrong and mess up. He tells me that I can do it myself and offers there is a print cutter to use. It’s while I am doing the cutting that I notice scratches on one of the prints. I debate over protesting but at this point I have already paid for it and I just want to get out of there.
I acknowledge that I could have walked away or complained stronger. But I was already there and I just wanted to get it done. I also acknowledge that the person I spoke to did try to save me money by going with the cheaper option of laser printing but since that wasn’t what I was interested in, it was ultimately unhelpful. Looking back I think it may have been because he knew his printer would not print a good enough quality print, but if that was the case, he should have just said so.

So all the above said… I’m giving this business a low review because:
1.) I felt a reluctance on the part of the establishment to take responsibility in making customer satisfaction a priority.
2.) The print quality was just bad. I don’t feel like I can charge money for it and have as a result ended up loosing money.
3.) I was given a misleading quote over the phone which caused me to drive over and initiate doing business.

The best print shop I’ve ever done business with. Andrew and Manny are super helpful, always do a great job and my prints are always great!
Doesn’t get any better.
