Marcela did a wonderful job with our wedding invitations. She was incredibly responsive via email and whipped up three awesome options based on the little information I gave her. She was totally accepting of the fact that we were keeping things pretty simple and minimal and did not try to push more expensive options on us. We met with her in her office to finalize the design, and she incorporated our ideas and advised us on various options. The printing was prompt and incredibly reasonably priced. Many of our friends commented on how our invitation would stay on their refrigerator for a long time! Highly recommended.

Marcella worked hand in hand with my wife and I in creating our wedding invites. We were having a destination wedding in New Orleans, in no time Marcela wiped up a very elegant invitation with the New Orleans theme. She even help make little street maps for the invitations of the city for our guest so everyone knew how to get to the church and the venue.
She did such a great job on the invites we had her do our programs, name cards, table signs and seating chart. She even came up with the idea to name each table after popular street names in new Orleans and to have the table signs look like street signs.
We did have quotes from other vendors to find out Simple Stated Stationary was clearly, the most reasonable priced and the best product.

I was looking for a very specific type of invitation and after looking through all of the online invitation companies & Etsy I could not find what I was looking for. Through a stroke of luck I came across Simply Stated Stationary while browsing through invitation images on Google. I reached out to Marcela & she was absolutely great! I explained to her what I was looking for and she assured me that she could create a custom invitation with no problem. Within a few days I had a beautiful invitation, BETTER than I envisioned, emailed to me. My expectations we far exceeded after receiving the invitations in the mail. The paper quality was great and I loved the way she printed the return address on the envelope. Marcela is creative and easy to work with, great input and lots of experience with every different kind of invite, stationary, paper product. Had seen some of her other work and was impressed. My fiancé and I found Marcela through her impeccable Unilocal reviews and decided to have her be our first call for our wedding invitations. After speaking with her for about five minutes, I knew we wouldn’t be making any second calls. She is AWESOME. We are not super traditional people and wanted something a little offbeat– we were recreating a record album cover– and Marcela was excellent at communication, understanding what we wanted, got our vibe immediately, and (very quickly) turned out the coolest invitations i’ve ever seen. Everyone who has received them have said something along those same lines.
Collaborating with someone you don’t know personally to create something, well, personal, can be kind of nerve-​wracking because you aren’t sure if they will really «get» you. Let me tell you, this woman is intuitive. She felt my fiancé and I out immediately, knew what we wanted, and set to work. She emailed us proofs along the way and we would throw out suggestions here and there, she would turn it around and shoot it right back to us. And when you email her, expect a response within minutes. She wastes NO time. Such a professional. She even came up with ideas for the invite that completely enhanced our vision– things we had never thought of. So it truly felt like a collaboration. And again, this process was so fast.
So if you are beginning to shop around for someone to help you with stationery or graphic design needs, just do yourself a favor and call her first. I doubt you’ll make a second call.

Two words that describe Marcela are patient & fast! I used SSS for my wedding. She created my customized save the dates, invitations, tent cards, table numbers and even my bridal shower invitations :) With each item, Marcela took the time to come up with a custom design that truly represented me. As a bride, I was often stressed and pressed for time and Marcella always went above and beyond to meet my crazy demands and budget. Anything Marcella touches is classy, elegant & gorgeous. Marcela and Simply Stated Stationary are simply the best! I recently had my first baby and Marcela designed both my birth announcements and my baptism invitations. She pulled everything together with almost zero leg-​work on my part, which was much appreciated with a new little one consuming all of my time and energy. My boyfriend and I found out we were pregnant and decided we wanted to get married before the baby came and before I got too BIG. We are literally panning a wedding in two months. This means i can send them out with plenty of time which is a HUGE relief since I’m already giving my guests short notice.

Marcela is a true gem. She listens to what each of my 2 daughters wanted for their wedding invitations and came through beautifully. She simplified the whole process of figuring out what we needed on the invitations and made the invitations truly an easy task. Shortly after getting a venue picked out for my wedding I started looking around for stationary services. One of my bridesmaids suggested Simply Stated Stationary and said they had a really great experience with them in the past. I checked out the website and contacted the owner, Marcela, to get some general information regarding her work. I currently live in Monterey, CA and knew that she was located in LA. I initially thought that I would have to look for other options since I wouldn’t be able to meet with Marcela in person. I was wrong, she actually video chatted with me through her Iphone and showed me samples and ideas, real time! It was really wonderful that she was so flexible and willing to meet with me that way. I shared some of my ideas with her and she then came up with some samples to show me. I was really impressed with the professionalism and creativity of her products and at that point I was sold! She came up with several proof options and I was able to choose my favorite out of those. She printed our invitations and sent them straight to my front door. She also did our seating chart for the reception and our thank you cards! Everything turned out great and I got many compliments on how great our stationary looked. Overall I had a great experience and would highly recommend this company!

Marcela is truly an artist and she dedicates every part of who she is to her work. Simply Stated is simply amazing! Marcela did my wedding invites and save the dates and the end product totally exceeded my expectations.
