Chase Bank

This review is for Chase Bank in Burbank, California.
The bank is on the first floor of a building, plenty of parking. Although I do online banking a lot with different financial institutions, this bank had an offer via mail, and I thought maybe I should go and check it out, to put a face to the service.
I liked the bank, very friendly service– and informative, without a strong selling pitch which is a turn-​off. Also, they didn’t seem to be too busy, — so my experience was good and quite painless. I normally do not like to review financial institutions, as the variables are plenty to draw a fair picture that might serve everyone, but I had a soft spot for them, so perhaps you can visit them too, and give them some of your business. Oh, and they had coffee, for the clients. That’s cool actually.

Chase will not accept cash into other people’s accounts meaning you can’t help out family or friends in a pinch.

I have been using Chase bank since 1995 however just recently I learned that Chase no longer accepts cash deposits from anyone other then the signer
On the account. My son is owed $ 150 from a friend who does not live near him. His friend said no problem I’ll deposit it into your bank he went to Chase and Chase would not allow him to deposit $ 150 they told him well you could deposit a money order so he said I’ll buy a money order then they told him we can’t sell you a money order because you do not belong to this bank. This policy is supposed to keep people from being able to launder money or fund terrorism however most people that have money issues are help out by family members who will go and put a deposit of cash into their account. by not allowing this to happen chase can bounce more items and collect more fees.
I have confirmed this with the local branch manager and I will be closing all of my Chase accounts. I hope other people do too.

Horrible customer service. The tellers have negative energy. Do not open any accounts at this location or any chase locations for that. I personally love Wells Fargo.

Hmmm walked in on a Saturday and there were what I saw 4 workers. They are quick to help and there’s a sitting room and coffee for all those who are there and need an extra kick to wake up. Parking lot never say it super full around thus place so pretty nice.
And if you don’t like their coffee there’s Starbucks across the street.
They have so far answered all my questions in regards for accounts and glad to have opened when there was a promotion going on.
Horray me. Can be horray for you too if you ain’t got an account yet. For those who already horray!

Great bank!

My office opened a business account with this branch, & Josie (the manager) helped us set everything up. She is really fun and made the process very enjoyable.
There is ample parking, they have the self-​service teller where you can withdraw bills other than $ 20. Sometimes… you just need $ 10! Love that I can do that here. They also have the drive-​thru ATM.
Quick, convenient and friendly!

Chase are excellent. Unfortunately I have my mortgage with Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo have such inept online services that it made me realize how good Chase are. This branch is excellent. Clean, easy, simple… if you are new to town save yourself the hassle and do your banking here.

This is the newest location to have recently opened in the neighborhood.
Pros: plenty of parking in an easy to enter and exit lot. Drive thru ATMs, and plenty of tellers if you need to go inside. All and all a great addition to the hood.
Cons: it has another brand new location less than two miles away, both new locations took over Burbank classics. Big business is pushing the little guy out.
I will definitely keep banking here though, it is just too convenient. I love the banking app that goes along with this bank, it makes finding new branches such as this one a breeze, including but not limited to the ease of depositing a check from my smart phone.

I like where this particular Chase is located, easy access when I make my trek over the hill to Hollywood. I usually pass by at night and always for the walk up ATM, branch is brand spanking new and is really aesthetically pleasing. Even when I don’t stop by for my banking needs, I always take a peek because it’s just so darn pretty at night.

Although I do miss the FYE (formerly Wherehouse), I love having his brand new Chase bank nearby.
It has a drive up teller, a drive up ATM, regular ATMs (of course) and inside an automated banking machines that do so — - much more than the outdoor ATMS. You can make withdrawals in denominations other than twenties.
There is always plenty of parking and the few times I’ve had to go inside, there was no wait.

Really beautiful brand new Chase bank, built from the ground up, with all kinds of cool, new, fancy-​pants technology. They just opened last week, so until word gets out… tons of parking, and walk right up service. Everyone seems very nice, and happy to be there.
