Richard is awesome — he took the time to explain everything that needed to be done to my car in detail and gave me options before continuing with the work. I feel I was charged a very fair amount for the work done (I needed work done on my breaks — pads, shoes, and fluid change) and he even spotted a nail in one of my tires that he fixed free of charge.
He went above and beyond and you can tell that he is so passionate about his business and in providing excellent customer service. It is so hard to find a good mechanic in LA and these guys will have my business as long as I’m driving!

Got an incredible deal! Saved money getting a used tire instead of a new one, new one was gonna cost me $ 250, this one was $ 50. It’s a lease so I needed all tires to match and these guys definitely hooked me up, especially considering how expensive and rare this type of tire is. I’ll definitely be bringing my other cars here for maintenance. Great service!

Had a flat tire about a mile from the shop tonight and limped there at about 5:50pm, 10 minutes before they close. I thought there would be no way that I could get my tire fixed, but had to give it a shot. Walked in, and although they were busy with other customers, they asked me what the deal was, I told them, and they asked for the keys to the ride. 15 minutes later, the nail was out of my tire and the tire was patched, filled, and back on the car, like nothing ever happened. Gotta give major props to Edwin Haroutonian and his team! A lot of places would have sent me packing to Pep Boys, but Edwin saved me from that misery. Thanks again Edwin and team, you guys did me a real solid.

Just had my tires fixed from this place… had a huge nail in it. The workers were friendly and explained everything to me. It took 30 minutes to do because they were busy. The price was good as well being at $ 20.

Updating my review. I had a great experience previously but the last 2 times I went in to get an oil change I asked for a tire rotation as well and both times I didn’t get one even after I asked if they did and they lied straight to my face. When I came in they quoted me $ 29 and I ended up paying $ 40. Never coming here again, they are a bunch of liars

Found this place through a Groupon-​like deal for oil changes several years ago and never had a problem with them. Shortly after, my husband started having major trouble with his 2004 pickup truck and mechanic said that we had to get a rebuilt engine installed… thousands of dollars. We believed it was necessary to keep the truck running, so we did. Later, my husband was having trouble with his air conditioning and the same mechanic said we needed a new compressor and have some other parts replaced… another expensive repair on an old truck. We took it to a local mechanic to get a second opinion — they added freon for $ 50 and we were good to go. NO problems with the compressor whatsoever and the air conditioning system is still fine after two years. After that, I doubt that we ever needed a rebuilt engine at all. Makes me sick to think of the money we most likely wasted on a bogus repair. I wouldn’t trust them for anything at this point. Found a new place for oil changes as well. Lesson learned, always get a second opinion.

These guys are the best! Always fast, always honest, they do everything from my oil change to an engine swap. I always come here and I always tell people to come here. Helped me find gently used stuff when I couldn’t afford new.
Ask for Richard, he will sort you out! Nice guy, tells you like it is, only recommends what he would do to his own cars. I love that approach!

In my family we have 4 cars. We have been taking our cars to this place for over 6 years basically for everything: oil change, brakes, tires, etc. 2 days ago i took my car there just for a turn signal bulb change. I guess the new manager told me that they are very busy and asked me to come back next day. So next day i took my car back. Same guy told me that i have to leave my car for 3 – 4 hours. Are you serious? For 1 bulb change? I was mad and I told them that NEVER will come back and I left. After 10 minutes police stopped me and gave me a ticket for a non working turn light. So i took my car to other mechanic shop. The person who was working there fix it in 10 minutes and when I asked how much should I pay the guy smiled and told me «what for? It was only a bulb change». That’s the right way of doing business. We will never go TIREPROS again.

Just updating because good mechanics are often hard to find.
Took both cars in for oil changes and such and Richard had some recommendations.
Car 1: 200k mile and more and so we did the change to all synthetics including some transmission and power steering flushes and refills with synthetics. Now I questioned it a bit but I knew from experience that fluids really do effect a cars performance. Had two long road trips since, both in excess of 1K miles and the car runs noticeably smoother and an increase in MPG to the tune of 10%-15%.
Car 2: Started with oil but, he found things that needed to be made right including repairing parts that some knucklehead Glued on parts of the engine. He made it right so that even my wife noticed that it drove «Way Better» than it had previously.
So yes, proper maintenance is not free or even cheap but, With one car in excess of 220,000 miles and the other at around 179,000 miles and they both are nice and reliable… that’s good for me.
I will refer anyone I know to this shop.

After a stressful Friday morning dealing with a flat and stopping of at many tire shops in Burbank with extremely long wait times. I stumbled on Tire Bros and couldn’t have been happier. Richard was so helpful, had my tire replaced in 30 mins which was great! I appreciated his helpfulness and understanding in not pushing me to get 3 new tires (which I needed)! Such a great experience I will be going back for my other tires!

I made an appointment over the phone and confirmed it on the day of. I was told both times that the tire installation would take 45 mins to an hour so I made arrangements with my work so that I could take the time off during my lunch break. Sooo, I get there and the guy tells me that it’s going to take 3 hours. His excuse? Well the actual work will take 45 mins to an hour but my appointment is going to take 3. What?! Thanks for wasting my lunch hour. I only like doing business with companies that like to honor their appointments and promises.

I would recommend you find somewhere else to go! The owner is EXTREMELY rude. His hot temper is totally unacceptable. His prices are outrageous, and his «know-​it-​all» personally is disgusting. I had my car here for a «radiator repair with hoses and a thermostat». His demeanor was so rash that I felt extremely uncomfortable dealing with him! His quoted price was also hundreds more expensive than other shops in the area (I called two others and got a quote between 200 – 300 less than his original stated price). Upon his frustration he went into the shop and threw items around like a child being refused candy. This temper tantrum was sad to watch for a «man» his age. I’m not usually one to publicly bad mouth a shop however he does not deserve any local business! There is a proper way to deal with customers and he clearly does not have that ability!!! I have never in my life had to deal with someone so rude and ungrateful. My advice to him, lean one simple fact: Your customers and overall reputation are the only things keeping you from closing up shop. Shocking and unbelievable is my description of my visit. Horrible! Shame on him!

Watch for overages!!! I was quoted a price. (I asked for everything included.) I was given a price, «out the door» was what the man said. Now they want to charge extra for alignment!!! What good is a new set of tires if they don’t inflate, balance and align the tires? (I was told out the door!) If I hadn’t complained, they probably would charge for air and balancing!!!
We yelled back and forth! My opinion is; if for example, you agree to do a $ 40.00 oil change, they can’t start charging for an oil filter. It’s supposed to be included in the price! The man I was yelling with was the co-​owner and he kept insisting I wasn’t understanding him. I heard and understood him just fine!
NO BUENO!!!

Came in for a reasonably priced oil change because they get you in and out really fast. It was discovered how bad all four of my tires were but I wasn’t being ripped off. They showed me all the wear and even tear so I felt comfortable with the purchase. They worked with me on a fair price and did it all in about an hour! I highly recommend to any friends and family!!!

Came in for an oil change. For years I been taking my cars to the dealer. After paying my bill here at tire pros I realized I been over paying at the dealership for an a service that doesn’t even come close to the one I received at tire pros. George and his team took care of my car as if it was their own. I’ll definitely keep coming here! Thanks you guys!

I’ve been coming to this tire pros for years now. Can’t say I live local, but always willing to make the drive from Covina.
Mechanics are very helpful and very thorough on their work and explaining the issue. With always giving me options, for budget reasons it becomes helpful, I’ve never been pressured to repair. They have always either recommend me to fix it, or told me I can wait .
I highly recommend coming here for all your car needs. Make sure you speak to Richard, he’s the short guy, with big muscles …

Got a screw in my tire.
They told me 16.00
Manager said $ 20.00
He was Not happy with HIS new employee
I Didn’t like that. He said ok for $ 16.00.
They told me another screw was in same tire
That I should get it fixed. I said yes if in same tire. They didn’t give me an updated price. I expected to pay $ 16.00
They told me 30.00 due to other nail.
I paid because that tire guy was new and I didn’t want to have him lose his job.
BAR requires shop to get authorization verbally and they must update price with customer.
Sadly I won’t go back because of this.
Simple rule and one day they will get someone that will be viscous with them.
My tires are about 2 mm from wear bar
I was thinking about getting a set from them
But because of this minor situation
I will go back to western tires!
