Birch Gold Group

I want to give a big «thank you» to Birch Gold Group for helping me move my 401k into a gold IRA. They were great every step of the way — what I thought was going to be a long and difficult process was super easy, and I’m happy to say that I finally feel like my money is in bit of a safer place than where it’s been up until now.
I feel like I had done a really good job of putting money into the 401k plan with my old employer. I was with them for over 10 years and had put in a consistent amount each year. There was quite a bit of money in the account when I quit that job, all in some «mixed portfolio» mutual fund that they recommended, which was made up of some kind of mix of stocks and bonds and stuff, and then it just sat there for several years. Then a few years ago, during the recession, I watched in practical horror as my portfolio went down… and down… and down. Jeez, everything I had saved for! All of a sudden something like half of it was gone.
Thankfully in the last few years, my portfolio started to recover. it almost even made its way all the way back to where it was before the recession hit. But something didn’t feel right. I don’t trust a lot of what’s going on in politics right now, or with the financial system, it just doesnt feel like anything has really been fixed. I don’t want my savings to disappear again. So when I saw an ad on the internet for Birch Gold Group, and found out that I could put precious metals into my IRA, I had to learn more.
After speaking to my rep at Birch, I realized that gold is a great way to help maintain the value of my 401k, just in case the markets crash again. Plus, I still get to keep all of my money from my 401k in a retirement plan — just a simple rollover into an IRA! So it’s not like I’m withdrawing my funds early and would have to pay good old uncle sam his penalty for getting my money before retirement age.
The process was super easy, after speaking to Vince a couple of times and deciding what kind of gold I wanted to put my money into, I worked with their IRA department to finalize the transfer from my 401k. Birch Gold handled everything… they just asked me for some pretty basic info every now and then, had me fill out a pretty small amount of paper work, kept me up to date on their progress, and soon enough my money was out of stocks and into gold! What a fantastic feeling.
