This is the ad that Isabelle Bustamente of the Ventura Investment Company has been posting for months in the place on CraigsList where people are looking for apartments to rent:
«$ 1325 /​2br — 800ft2 — RENTED NOT AVAILABLE (Cameo Apartments)».
If you call or contact her and ask her to remove spam from the «Apts Available» site she will haughtily tell you she will keep the ad up because her company is «allowed to post as many ads as they want.» Interesting that she has so little scruples. The pics on her facebook page gave me pause. I would not want to do business with a company which represents themselves like this.

I rent from Ventura Investment Co. Horrible people, taking advantage of the fact that there is zero rent restrictions in my area. They constantly intercommunicate, we have roaches, bugs, horrible neighbors and they don’t care. On top of it all, good luck paying your rent. I pay all my rent on time, actually I pay my rent early every month, they cash my check on the 1st if not earlier, and yet I get 3 day notices and $ 50 late fees. When I call to argue and submit my proof of payment its magic, all of a sudden my payment is found. I would avoid renting from these people at all cost! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Rent from a private owner if you can, big companies can care less if they raise rent $ 150 each year.

Excellent property managers. Emma and Keith especially were both very kind and always got repairs done in a reasonable amount of time. We would definitely rent from them again.
