Lexus gave me the run-​around. I had to tow my car to the dealership, had a rediculous price and then were not going to make my key for 3days after the car got to them. 3 days. There was no emergency service offered either.
Glk repsonded to my call, were EXTREMELY professional, came the same day and gave me a better price. I would go so far as to get an extra key made from them simply because of the price, promptness and amazing customer service. Lost key? don’t even call your dealership. Call them and save time, money and a huge headache. Go where your money is respected not just accepted.

Called at 8:45AM, they called me back at 9AM, arrived within the hour and got it done quickly and at the price they quoted. Couldn’t be happier with the service provided. Would highly recommend. Save over $ 100 going to the dealer and that is not including the towing I would have payed! Highly Recommend.

Had been dealing with a broken lock for years and finally got fed up with not being able to lock my doors. Called them on Friday evening just looking for a quote. He not only gave me a quote, but also assured me that this is a common issue on my type of car and was glad to assist. He explained since it was Memorial Day weekend that he may be really busy as some of the staff was out of town and that he’d try his best to squeeze me in. On Saturday afternoon I got a call that a tech could be to my house in 30 min if I still wanted the service. I was totally surprised. The tech showed up, cut me a new key and programmed it for an awesome price. Lower than the dealership and several other locksmiths had quoted me. My car was giving the poor guy some problems but he was very patient. Even when he had to break out the jumper cables to juice up my battery. He let me test the key before he left and answered several questions. I am completely happy with this company and the service I received.

I recommend GLK highly. One of the car keys to my 2013 Prius went missing and I needed a new one. I did some research and came across GLK. They quoted me a cost up front (that saved me at least $ 100 over the dealer), communicated clearly, came to me, arrived early, were prompt in completing the key and demonstrated that it worked.

Contacted GLK when I need a key for a Lexus GS 350 that I recently purchased. Got the car from a broker. It was off lease but the broker only had one key.
Andrew from GLK came to my home, was very professional and polite. He got my new key set up in about 45 mins.
I had called a few other services, but GLK was most reasonable in cost and based on the experience, I am very satisfied.
Will be calling them again if I ever need help with keys!

I own a Lexus. They make great cars and really, REALLY crappy key fobs. This is the third fob that has disintegrated on me. The dealer is way to ridiculous for a new key. Plus, the guts of the fob work fine so I only needed a shell — no programming. I have purchased shell online in the past and taken the shell to a locksmith. This time I tried GLK.
So I called them from a Google search and random selection. Within 2 minutes of discussion of what I needed, I had a solid quote and an appointment set for same day — actually an hour and a half from my call for them to come to my home. The quote was actually cheaper than me having provided my own shell.
The technician arrived 5 minutes ahead of scheduled time and I had received a call from shop informing me that the tech would be arriving within the next ten minutes. The tech completed my key within 15 minutes and tested on my vehicle. All professional and perfectly executed.
High marks!!!

This company is great. They will forever be my «go to» company for replacement keys and remotes. I called several companies for estimates and no one came close to their quoted price. They were fast, efficient and very reasonable.
Remember, this is a mobile business and they do not list a physical address. Do not let that deter you because I found them to be very reliable and professional.

Recently purchased a used car that didn’t come with the keyless entry keys, the dealer wanted to charge 136.00 for the key and 136.00 for programming. I called GLK and they didn’t have the key in stock but would order if I paid a deposit. They charged 185.00 for the key plus programming. Still expensive but better than the dealer. They came to my job originally in Alpharetta and cut the key, they guy had a hard time programming so he said they can come to my house that evening and try again. Another guy arrived that evening and programmed the key in no time. I would recommend!

Great service. Received a quote over the phone in minutes and was able to make an appointment for the next day. Technician came to my home, cut the key, reprogrammed my old key, and had a receipt text to my phone in about 20 minutes. My brother-​in-​law happened to be visiting and hopped on the good deal and got a backup key for his vehicle. Highly recommend.

Called three different locksmiths in town, as I needed an additional copy of a key for my car (2002 Subaru Legacy) and my girlfriend’s car (2005 Nissan Xterra) as well as help unlocking a jammed glove box.
GLK was the only locksmith that actually provided a reasonable quote and treated me like a human. I was able to schedule an appointment, they showed up on-​time, and were very friendly and helpful. They are clearly dedicated to their profession and customer satisfaction. They carefully took their time to ensure that the keys they cut actually worked in all locks and they were able to quickly fix the glove box tumbler so I’d be able to both lock and unlock it without the same issue happening again.
They finished the job and charged a very reasonable amount. Don’t waste your time with other locksmiths in town, these guys are the best!

This isn’t the first time one of my key fobs to my Accord broke. I had one replaced several months ago from another company, only to see that key break off in my door. I called around for quotes to get the key replaced and GLK was the lowest. Service was prompt, fast and friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their car keys replaced and re-​porgrammed quick, fast, and in a hurry.

Lost my only keyfob to my Nissan Altima. GLK gave me the price over the phone and scheduled an appointment. They met me and programmed a new key fob. Fast. Saved me $$$ over towing my car to the dealer and paying the dealer cost for a new keyfob. Thanks.

Yesterday, the ignition lock on my 2003 Honda Element decided that it was going to stop working. I mean locked up tight and couldn’t do anything about it. After a quick search I came across GLK and shot them a call. From the time i called to the time Andrew the tech was finished was just under 2.5 hours. I had calls out to two other locksmiths and they still haven’t called me back. Long story short, Andrew with GLK was fast, pleasant, and professional.

I was impressed. I had lost my car key on a trip, and just realized it when I got back home. When I called, they asked for the make and model of the car, and immediately gave me a price ($ 95) and they said they could be here in 45 minutes. They were here on time. The guy got my VIN and I had a new key in 10 minutes. Pretty much as good as you can expect.

Beat the pants off dealership price, and came to me! Turns out the car keys I ordered from Amazon were the wrong ones for my ’99 Maxima. No problem! Cut and coded a key from his stock and I had a spare key in 5 min. Would definitely recommend! Only bad thing I can say is they ran a bit late, and charged me a bit more to come to Fairburn since it’s outside their service area…

I cannot recommend GLK highly enough.
After making the very unfortunate decision to have AAA tow my vehicle to Wood & Fullerton Goodyear due to a worn out ignition lock cylinder, they not only charged me $ 95 dollars to diagnose the problem, but also gave me an estimate of over $ 600. Their estimate included a charge for researching the problem.
After doing some research, I discovered that the repair shouldn’t be nearly that expensive, and that it should really be done by a locksmith. I called around to half a dozen different locksmiths, and was given estimates ranging from $ 140 (GLK) up to $ 300. Since GLK had a good Unilocal rating, I gave them a call, and they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The technician worked with my husband’s schedule to meet him after work and completed the repair in about 20 minutes.
Thank you, GLK, for answering all of my questions and concerns, working with my husband’s schedule, and saving us a LOT of money.

These folks are great. Stay away from all those auto locksmiths who say, «we will tell you what it costs when we get there.»
I just went through the experience of getting an extra key for my 2010 Prius and it was interesting and frustrating. The dealer quoted me a price of $ 420.00 and needless to say, I was not going to pay that. So, I researched how to get an extra key made for a cheaper price.
The first step was buying the right key. With the help of the folks at my dealer I found a place who sold me an OEM Factory guaranteed key. My particular model (confirmed by my dealer) was they HYQ14ACX. For eighty bucks I bought a key here:

Before purchasing I spoke to them and they GUARANTEED me that my key would work. They promised to pay for shipping for me to return the key if it did not work. When I spoke to them, they suggested that I NOT use a locksmith who would NOT quote me a charge before coming to my location. Some locksmiths, they said, would quote one price on the phone and then when they showed up they would tell you it was going to be twice the price that was quoted.
I called at least 10 locksmiths who said that they would charge me 15 – 25 dollars to come to my house and then they would give me a price for the programming when they got here. When I asked how much the programming would cost, they said that the prices would START at $ 60, $ 95, $ 120, $ 189 but that they could not give me the EXACT price for programming until they saw my car.
I then remembered speaking to the GLK locksmith when I first bought the car. Andrew quoted me $ 105.00 to do the entire programming (with a key purchased online). GLK does not charge to come to your house. If you want the little mechanical key cut it is an extra $ 5.00. I searched my Google history (I had first spoken to them over a month ago) and found Gwinnett Lock and Key or GLK. They work the entire Atlanta area.
At first the locksmith could not program the key but then he remembered something else that he had not tried and he went back, did what he had not done earlier, and PRESTO my 2010 Prius transponder key, FOB, SKS key, smart key (or whatever you want to call it) was programmed.
Sorry for the long post but I wanted to give everyone that is going through the headache of getting an extra Prius 2010 transponder key a heads-​up on how not to pay over $ 400 bucks it.
The locksmith from GLK said that he often programs keys that are purchased off of Ebay but I heard so many horror stories from online forums regarding keys that did not work that I went out of my way to purchase a guaranteed to work key.
Some of the Toyota service places and locksmiths that I called said that they would not even try to program a key that was not purchased from a dealer. so make sure that if you buy a key online, it is guaranteed.
I cannot say enough good things about how professional, honest and nice the locksmiths at GLC are. I recommend them without hesitation.
