I asked my wife to pickup a watch battery while she was at the mall. She gave them the battery number and they sold her a battery for $ 16.00, what a rip off? The going rate at any retail store is about $ 2.50 for a name brand battery like Energizer which will normally last more than 2 years. The battery they sold her was junk from China which may last 6 months. I found the battery the next day for $ 1.04.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I called this place to inquire about a VERY simple service. To begin — the person I spoke with, and his cohort that I could hear speaking in the background, were both incredibly rude. I’m not sure exactly why they felt that this approach would make anyone want to spend money in their store. The worst part, however, is their lack of understanding of jewelry. I would never take anything to this place for any reason based on the conversation I had with these people. After hanging up with these yahoos, I called another jeweler who was extremely polite and understood exactly what I was requesting because he was knowledgeable about jewelry — something I cannot say about these people. So, one star because apparently, if you are a potential customer and you call and ask them a question to which they don’t know the answer, their response is to be rude and attempt to demean you due to their lack of knowledge rather than taking any more reasonable(read: intellectual) approaches toward problem solving.

Repaired my watch glass with poor quality glass which broke 2 weeks later. I had another dealer confirm the wrong glass was installed. Fast fix offered to cheat me a second time, but once was enough. I don’t recommend this store.

I have taken many different pieces here to be repaired and they’ve always done an excellent timely job. For my wedding ring I needed to change a stone and he did not try to upsell me to an expensive stone(I went to other jewelry stores in the mall and they just wanted to sell me the most expensive diamond they could) he suggested something else that would fit really well. I like the honesty and integrity of work that I found here and wanted to share that with everyone.

Watch Batteries Repair, great service, great price. The other stores in the mall that repair watches, want to charge me $ 55 to replace the batteries in my watch. Fast Fix, price was 20.00 great price for the work that they had to do to get to the batteries. I will send all my friend and business partner here. Thanks again.

I had placed a call with the repair guy and asked if I could drop it off and pick it up. I guess there was no communications with his co workers because I was rudely treated and didn’t want to help me. Asked me if his English wasn’t good?! Puhleaseeee! Called the other fast fix in Duluth and was charged cheaper and treated with respect than this douche bag!

The owner of this store, Michael, has done a wonderful job for me every time I’ve given him an opportunity. He first fixed a silver bracelet for me that had been ruined by Guven’s across the street. I’d tried to have two initials engraved in the bracelet, and they had carved them by hand, apparently with a rusty ice pick. Michael took the time to correct the job. He also resized an engagement ring for me, and allowed my nervous fiancé to sit next to him and watch him complete the job. I went to him for a wedding ring, and after we talked about what I wanted and how he didn’t have it, he offered to make one for me. We arranged a time for me to return and talk about particulars. When I did return, I was greeted with enthusiasm and was told that the staff had been instructed to look out for me. He had already made a ring for me, and wanted to see what I thought. It was almost exactly as we’d discussed, and I was very pleased. I’ve found that this store’s attention to detail and focus on the customer is top notch. I highly recommend them!

I got my «repair» a couple of months ago, but I’m still so mad about it I decided to write this review. I’ve been going to MOG to get my jewelry fixed for years. The store I liked closed so I gave this place a shot. I walked in and was greeted by a woman who was only working the counter, not the repair person. I told her what I wanted and she asked me if I wanted to buy a warranty. For a watch battery? NEVER have I been asked this before. I decided to say no. What I should have done was walk right out. What kind of jewelry repair store wouldn’t automatically offer a warranty with their battery? One that gives you a crap battery if you don’t buy one. She took my watch and was back in 3 minutes, no joke. Normally I drop my watch off and come back for it in an hour. Whatever they put in my watch stopped within the week. I couldn’t get a new one because I didn’t buy a warranty. DON’T waste your money here.
