Cleaning On Wheels, Inc

I applied for a position here I was contacted after my multiple follow ups to start on the 13^th of Oct.2015. Due to two unforseen incidents at 530am that morning and numerous telephone calls and a follow up email all before 620am.
I told Jan Maskew that I would definitely report to her the following morning bright and early unless she stated otherwise.
I arrived at the office at 620am on the morning of the 14, October 2015. I sat outside the locked doors until 715am. At that time someone rapped on my car window. It was Jan. I had sent three text messages and called her cell twice in that span of time.
She received me with unapproachable attitude! Slammed a manual on the table and proceeded to holler in a most offensive tone. I was taken aback at the verbal assault and her demeanor.
Needless to say I rose, bid her farewell and left.
Jan Maskew is the owner of this business! If she treats prospective new employees this way I cannot imagine how rude she must be to her clientele. Her lack of professionalism was exceedingly evident! It validates some of the reviews I read.
She specifically stated to me that she does not return calls.
Please think twice before contacting this business, run by an overstressed tyrant with a lack of true customer service skills.
Not a disgruntled would be employee but a BLESSED one to have seen the light prior to starting an obviously negative position.
I forced to leave a star. My rating ZERO stars for being so rude and unprofessional.

This owner shows a repeated pattern of not taking ownership of the actions of the crew she sends. Crew turnover is high so there is never any consistency. Some weeks would have 4 girls and on the last visit when the supervisor Jaclyn damaged my wood floor by being so lazy and wreck less she couldn’t lift or ask for help in moving an antique Sheridan love seat instead sliding it across the wood floor to clean under it at that point I had to fire them. When I confronted Jan the owner about the damage she stated her «girl» said the damage was already there. She did NOT want to discuss the chip in my kitchen sink from the girls putting the heavy Electrolux stovetop cooking grates carelessly in the sink. I also have numerous scuff marks all over my furniture from vacuum cleaners banging into my furniture and a stove top burner knob which is broken. When I requested information on this company being bonded and insured letting her know it would be a rather small claim, I was completely ignored! This is how Jan Maskew runs her company. I had a new purchase cleaning done by them and they missed basic items. They took absolutely no ownership or responsibility for their lack of detail or poor job. I asked if they could correct the deficiencies and they only offered to charge me less for the cleaning and I would still have to hire another service to complete the job. Worst cleaninig experience ever and I can’t believe the owner argued with me rather than apologizing for the job or offering to make a correction.

Owner does not take ownership of any mistakes done. Last job in my home, the cleaning crew appeared like they were rushed and even said they are understaffed. I asked for deep cleaning, but the inside of drawers were not cleaned. Instead, dirt was spread to all corners. Same thing happened on counters and window sills. Owner blamed it on construction dust. Yeah… OK.
I had been a loyal customer for two years and I expected a good job. Instead I got a defensive company that blamed something else that had nothing to do with their crew spreading dirt to the corners of drawers and crevices.
$ 450 down the drain… I do not recommend this company.

This seems like a good company, and the owner was very professional, but I don’t think they are interested in new clients right now, or at least not interested a once a month cleaning of a small house. The price quoted seemed reasonable, and I would have considered them, but I was told they had no available time slots all day Thursdays or Fridays and Monday-​Wednesday late afternoons. They have a lot of positive reviews so I’m sure they o an excellent job cleaning, but they are not very accommodating.

5 STARS! This company is great. They have been cleaning for me for about a year now. They are all Americans (nothing against foreigners, just added that for review purposes) and, of course, speak English. I am in Alpharetta, so although they are based in Lawrenceville, I believe they do a lot of business in the N. Fulton burbs.
They do home cleaning as well as office commercial cleaning. Every time they come, they go above and beyond. I think they specialize in being picky because I have a very high standard of clean and they exceed it every time.
They also accept credit cards, so if I forget to lay out a check, I can just call and give them my credit card information over the phone. Their prices are very reasonable. I happen to know that they clean homes in some of the ritzy neighborhoods and for some very prominent people, so of course, those folks would only choose the best.
I am just happy I got on their weekly schedule because they do a wonderful job. Keep up the good work guys!
