I saw on some other review site(I know, I know… as if there is any other review site outside of Unilocal.Psssshhhh) that this tailor had pretty good reviews. A good tailor is hard to come by. Believe me, I have experienced more than my fair share of bad tailors. I’ve learned the hard way, the tailor is not an area you want to cheap out on. You need quality when it comes to a tailor. Thankfully, I have found such a tailor in Chayban’s. My husband is a big dude, he’s 6’6″ and built like a linebacker. I cannot buy him clothes in normal stores. Everything has to be bought online usually and then fixed by a tailor. He had a suit and sports coat that I have been nagging him for months to get fixed. I was finally able to drag him here. The guy who runs this(who I failed to get his name) made my husband totally at ease while he measured him. The guy said it would be a week or so to get things fixed and dry cleaned. We didn’t have a time frame need, so it was no concern for us. We went today to pick up my husband’s stuff… AMAZING. The tailoring is beautiful, the stuff looks so much better now! They really did a good job on the suit, dress shirt and sport’s coat. Very pleased with the work done on the clothes. If I was looking for any cons, one would be price. This place is expensive but you get what you pay for! Getting your clothes custom tailored is a special skill and yes, it does have a somewhat high price. FYI, this place makes custom suits. If you are a really big person and can’t find what you need in stores, this place can make a suit for you. One other thing that is a very minor annoyance is they don’t post hours open on their webpage. They say to call for hours… when we called, we were met with a full voicemail that you couldn’t leave a message on. Even with the price being a little bit higher than other tailors, I will still come back here in the future. It’s worth a little more to have something tailored correctly.
