Adventurous Fast River Rafting-Nantahala

These guys rock. My family and I did the unguided trip and it was a blast. They actually overcharged us and caught it for us after the ride. We will be back.

Can’t not express my gratitude for sue and Steve!!! So helpful every step of the way and we had a complete BLAST on the self guided trip. The staff rocked too! I highly recommend this company. I’ll be back there’s no doubt in that!

Great ride down the river with the family! Perfect rapids for kids & beginners. There were 8 of us in the raft (4 adults & 4 kids) & we all had a blast! My son said it reminded him of a «real life Disney river rapids ride» LOL! Guide was very friendly & a lot of fun, owners of the company run the store & were just as nice. Only complaint is that the life jackets were a little stinky, but really, what do you expect? ;)

Ten of us booked a white water rafting trip, and we all had a marvelous time. Both of our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable, and they made us feel super comfortable on the river despite being novices. We were encouraged to play in the river, and spent some time hopping off a rock and floating downstream. Our guides were able to give us plenty of info about the local flora and some Carolina history. I will say that the river itself isn’t particularly exciting — there are virtually no rapids, and the river is slow and shallow. It’s much more relaxing than it is exhilarating. However, we knew that going into it, and we all loved our trip down the river. The departure site also has a grill and park benches if you’d like to stay for lunch after a very reasonably priced trip.

Very helpful! We stopped by on our way tubing looking for water shoes and the owner told us where we would go tubing and gave us good tips so we decided to use their services later in the week for rafting. There were 10 of us and they put us in two boats they gave us the option go with a guide or self guided. We chose the later. They gave us good tips on how to make it down the river. They are reasonably priced and fun was had by all and the kids wanted to «go down the river again». If we come back to the area we would use them again! There are so many companies to chose from but we made the right one.

They have got this down as far as the self guided rafting trip goes. A little pre departure meeting, bus you up river and a couple quick scare you stories to keep you on your toes and BAM — down the river you go. You can do the big 6 man raft or a 1 or 2 man dingy raft thingy. We had a blast on the water. The only negative is the PFD’s smell like rotten a$$ and whatever shirt you are wearing will end up with the funk. Great times!!!
