Cote’s Black Raspberry ice cream is the best ever! I wish I could order it online and have it sent to my home here in Spring, Texas. This is one of the greats which you miss when you move away from home.

We always make a pilgrimage to Cote’s whenever we’re in Maine. Great ice cream at reasonable prices. We especially like the maple walnut and raspberry with chocolate chunks. Although other flavors are probably fine as well, we can’t get past those favorites. This place deserves to be better known and appreciated.

Cote’s is by far our favorite ice cream spot in Southern ME! Amazing hard serve ice cream with great flavor selection. The shakes are also amazing! We can be seen biking there for ice cream at least once a week & are always delighted when they open for the season!!! Yeah!

There are two things to say about Cote’s: 1) It’s ice cream. There is nothing that can go wrong here. Love it. 2) It’s absolutely bizarre how little they are open in the year. If they’re open into September, it’s often a special occasion. Seems odd to me, given that I’d expect them to be able to clean up from Bowdoin students once they arrive. In the end, frozen deliciousness in a great location… that you really wish you could get more of… all the review they need.

When this place opens up for the first time every new season, it’s really exciting. There’s a line in the afternoon for frozen treats. Don’t miss out on the mint chocolate chip and the blueberry ice creams. It’s aint fancy. It’s simple, reliable and tastes home-made. And it’s pronounced«COAT-EASE» not«COATS.»

Hands down the best ice cream in Maine! Try the Blueberry and Black Raspberry — both are the absolutely perfect blend of fruity and creamy. It’s unfortunate that this is the last Cote’s in Maine, so please go and eat lots!

Good stuff! Must-go Brunswick spot, for sure. «Mini» cone is hardly mini and fairly economical at $ 2!

Everything at this place is good, and it’s SO much cheaper than Gelato Fiasco. I espcially recommend their frozen yoghurt. It’s delicious and they use real berries to make it. Also, I could not write a review without mentioning the cookie dough. That stuff must be 50% ice cream 50% cookie dough. Absolute heaven!

After many soccer tournaments, performances at Maine State Music Theater, or a day of shopping in Brunswick, both locals and tourists stop by Cote’s for good cheap ice cream. Their soft serve frozen yogurt is(surprisingly!) very flavorful and tasty. I would also highly recommend their Brownie Sundae. The majority of their items are quite inexpensive, but the servings are large… which is awesome.

We couldn’t wait for the end of the semester every year cause we all knew that’s when Cote’s will open for business. From mid-May to early September, the little shop on the corner of Maine Street is packed with locals and Bowdoin students clammoring for a bite of the homemade dairy specialty at unheard of prices. $ 2.95 for 2 scoops, what??? That’s like a kiddy size at Ben & Jerry’s for half the taste and twice the sugar! Peppermint stick, java crunch, maple walnut and strawberry so packed with real chuncks of strawberries you’re virtually eating a frozen strawberry are some of their best flavors. Go on… indulge a little. Cause it’ll be another 9 month before you get the chance again.
