Established in 1980.

Founded in Arvada, an aspiring family owned automotive facility with a very progressive approach in meeting the demands of the automotive industry. We accomplish this through an aggressive involvement with management and operations training, along with multiple trade alliances such as: TechNet Professional, ASA National & State, Automotive Management Institute, and ASE.

Our move to the Broomfield facility in 1996 came with a very ambitious plan for growth. We have created a strong presence in the this Community with our reputation of operating with integrity, honesty, and ethics. Manager

I have worked in the automotive industry all my life. I started with a love of Mustangs, which is how this business started, performing engine and suspension upgrades for Mustangs. I worked many years as an electrician and electronics technician, then as a Fleet Administrator at a large nuclear weapons facility.

I recieved my diploma for Accredited Automotive Manager in 1998, and continue my training as a leader in this industry with many other accomplised professionals in this industry.

I love delivering exceptional customer service, and helping people to maintain the large investment they have in their vehicles wisely.

took truck in for oil change and paid for inspection over 90.00 for this service to see if any thing else needed to be done they gave recommended serves per manufacturer and said i had a seal leak of which they charged for and never replaced seal and they recommended new brake pads cause uneven wear not a catastrophic situation as he states on line I don’t like lairs especially ones who call them selves Christians .they never did brake fluid change Robert said they topped it off and charged over $ 74.00 twice for this service and my fluid is still dirty because its original fluid and manufacturer suggests changing at 100 000 mi my truck has 78 000 mi unnecessary service charged twice .for an unnecessary service called dealer for price quotes they are cheaper than STANG and stand by there work

I have been having my car serviced at Stang for over 4 years now and I have ALWAYS been completely satisfied and impressed by the way Robert runs the business. I have complete faith in Stang’s honesty and integrity which has been demonstrated to me multiple times. And I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I realized that they had pushed out a couple of large dings in the lower front of my car when they had it up on the rack. They didn’t even mention it, but I was delighted when I discovered they had done that!

Wow!!! I have never been to a better mechanic. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service and how they repaired my vehicle. Very nice to work with. Called to update us on our car daily. It was in and out within a few days and they set us up with a rental car while they were repairing it. After being told by the dealership that my car needed a $ 5,000 repair I was very scared to take it to a mechanic. The repair only ended up costing $ 370. The dealership had missed diagnosed it or just told us the problem was bigger than it was for the money. Not surprised!!!
Stang auto tech was extremely thorough and the receipt was very specific about what repairs were made and why. I can’t say enough good things about this dealership!!! We will definitely be returning!

The most overpriced auto repair shop in the entire metro Denver area. My most recent experience is that I took my Jeep Wrangler in because the Engine Light was on solid. They had a special going that was for «free» inspection to get a determination of why the light was on. Well, they told me that the cause was a bad thermostat and the overflow tank both need to be replaced as it was cracked. They wanted over $ 500 to fix this. I told them not to do the work because that was ridiculous. When I went to pick the car up they charged me $ 158.99 for diagnostic testing & analysis. What a scam on «free inspection», regardless as I later found out that there was a line at the bottom of the ad talking about «there may be additional charges.»
I will be able to do this job myself (with a friends help) for about $ 35 in parts and an hour of labor) and I don’t even know much about cars.
If that isn’t enough. I drove the car home and found lots of liquid dripping from the car. I opened the hood to find the radiator cap sitting on the engine. (I am lucky it didn’t drop off the car, but it was kinda on the area where the hood comes down. Not only was the radiator cap off, but the windshield wiper cap was off, along with the overflow tank from the radiator.
I went back to the shop to let them know about this, and they did not apologize (they did actually call me LATER to apologize about this incident with the radiator cap). They call themselves a Christian auto repair shop, but nothing would indicate that to me. Unfair exorbitant pricing and unprofessional work. Ethically, I don’t see how they can get away with charging this amount for their work. The reason they say they can charge this amount is that say that their level of work is excellent. I have never felt that on any of my previous jobs they did on my cars, that the work was any better than any other auto shop.
Just the day before they charged $ 800.00 change out an alternator on a Dodge Caliber that my son owns. They justified this by saying they had to do something with the air conditioning unit. I had a friend, who told me that this job did not require it to be removed but just «moved» a bit to get to the alternator.
I will let other people know not to use this auto repair shop. I am done with them for good.

If I ran my business like that I would not be able to sleep at night!!!
So its been a little under 3 weeks since I got my truck back from the next mechanic and WOW Stang!!!
My supposed restricted catalytic converter which my wife was quoted over the phone at well over $ 1,000 and it was a very cheap sensor!!!
But here’s my main issue, the next mechanic tells me that two of my fuel lines were not connected correctly! That’s what Stang told me and said they fixed it. So who’s right and who put it together wrong? I understand there is two sides to every story but who should I believe the shop who over charged me and my truck ran horribly for less than 5 days.
Or the shop who fixed the problem completely and replace my sensor so I could passed emissions, for about half the cost! Even with extra work done and a tow of over 4 x the distance more then the tow I had Stang do!!!
I’m going with in the one I don’t feel ROBBED ME and I’m so unsure of Stang’s work now that I’ve had other mechanics go over anything they touched on my S10 & Yukon!!!
In all I feel that I should mention Stang did call and sent an invoice to my home. Also need to mention when I picked up my truck I was warned about backyard mechanics!!! That whole shop had thought the last person to work on that truck was a backyard mechanic. At this point Stang we are just completely disgusted with your poor work and poor business ethics. Please do not try to contact us again!!!

I was quoted $ 430 to replace inner and outer wheel bearings, repack the bearings and replace dust seal. Had the same work done at a shop two blocks away for $ 107 WITH PARTS. Invoice and quote to prove it.

Very pleased with my service from beginning to end. All of the individuals I worked with were polite and helpful. They had my vehicle ready 3 hours earlier than expected which was just great and I paid exactly what was agreed to up front. Being new to the neighborhood this is actually the second automotive shop I’ve been to but I know this is where my business will remain. Thanks Stang!

I took my truck with some suspension issues. They did a test drive and found some other issues. Some that are because of mileage but some that are also from damage but they never called asking for more money just left me my truck and the estimate so it was nice to find more issues but not be pushy.
They also were very good about leaving my truck outside so I can pick it up after hours

1 star for the men who represent the place. I took my car there several times, the bill was always super expensive for the work they have done. $ 90.00 to change spark plugs! They are the only garage I know of that charges a «diagonostic fee» even when they know what the problem is. They knew my air conditioner needed to be recharged.
I always take care of my car, I want it to last so I keep up on things, the last oil change I had the report came back with many many things that needed to be repaired. I took my car to a person who is non-​biased and who was kind enough to show me everything on the list that needed «repairs». Every item was OK the way it was. They claimed the front crank shaft was leaking oil. The area was so dry there were cob webs there.
Bottom Line this garage recommends things that do not need to be repaired or changed.

I just took my 67′ mustang in for an alignment, all I can say is GREAT! My car has aftermarket control arms so the alignment should be a little harder… NO problem, the staff is always nice and the job is ALWAYS the best. If you have a HiPo car, hot-​rod or just a daily driver there is only one place to go, Stang Auto Tech. Thanks guys, my car is perfect!

The work they do is top notch. It will get done correct the first time. I’ve gotten a lot of work done there and have been very pleased. What I like best is the shuttle to my work. I drop the car off, they bring me to work and I don’t have to sit in the building for hours. I suggest you bring your automobile here. BTW they don’t push unnecessary service either.

I have been taking my car to Stang Auto Tech for a couple of years now, it is so reassuring to have a shop to bring your car to that I’ve had multiple positive experiences with.

Took my car there after it failed emissions. Initial est was $ 105 — $ 249 and they told me they would test and repair as issues were found. Kept the car for 2 days giving me various stories when I called — Still testing, fixing vacuum leaks etc, need it another day. Final went in to see what they were doing and was presented with an estimate for over $ 1800 (they did not provide a written estimate after I declined the repairs and now claim it is a few hundred less) to replace the intake gasket among other things, and a bill for $ 239.28 for inspection. No repair work had been completed not even the vacuum leaks they kept telling me about. Took it to another mechanic, they found 2 bolts loose on the Intake and suggested I tighten them, replace the O2 sensor and give it a tune up myself. Did the work and passed Emissions the next day. When I went back for a refund got the same run around for 2 days and then they told me no, because they had only estimated inspection not repair work.

I can’t tell you how impressed I am with these guys (in fact, I am going out of my way to write a review about them wherever I can). I took my car to the Nissan dealership because of a service engine light and some funny noises my car was making when starting it up. I was told I needed my head gasket replaced which was going to cost me $ 1800 at the dealership. I called around and these guys quoted me $ 1500 for the head gasket replacement. But when I brought my car to them, they took it upon themselves to double check the problem and they came to the conclusion that the head gasket didn’t need to be replaced. So rather than simply doing the work that I asked for and billing me $ 1500, they advised me not to have my head gasket replaced. And they fixed the service engine light problem and engine problems for less than $ 200. Honest and friendly. They go the extra mile! They now have a new customer for as long as I live in the Denver metro area.

I’ve been taking my vehicles to Stang Auto for over 6 years. I highly recommend and trust them to perform any type of automotive service. We’ve all heard the stories of shops performing unnecessary repairs and over charging for service. This definitely isn’t the case with Stang. Their customer service is top notch and they run their business with honesty and integrity. Their mechanics are friendly and professional. They provide you with a preventive maintenance plan and stress the importance of taking care of your vehicle to prevent future problems later on.
