We offer a full suite of pet care and home services, including pet sitting, dog walking, private boarding, poop scooping, and home sitting. All of its services are customized to the clients needs and delivered by Red Cross Pet First Aid Certified, bonded and insured pet care professionals.

There’s no question that A Better Way Pet Care has quite an impressive pedigree. We’re proud to tell you – and the rest of the pet-​loving world – that we have decades of experience in the companion pet field.

Our experienced, pet-​loving team has created a complete curriculum for A Better Way Pet Care to both prepare our Pet Care Pros for their pet-​sitting responsibilities and encourage them to be active and conscientious citizens. To demonstrate our commitment to the communities we serve, our team members give back by volunteering time and expertise with local pet-​related organizations.

Emily D.

Business Owner

Emily, spent nearly 8 years as a Veterinary Technician and has been in the companion animal field for close to 2 decades. She is not only Red Cross certified in pet first aid, she is an instructor in Red Cross pet first aid and delivers these classes to certify others.

Emily is proficient in «special needs» pet care. Geriatric pets, pets that need medical attention or pets that need medication or injections administered is her specialty! Emily is also trained to care for exotic pets such as parrots, reptiles and amphibians. Emily is also the Intensive Care Manager at the Birds of Prey Foundation.
