Vespa Brooklyn

I live in NJ but couldn’t find the color Vespa that I wanted. I ended up at Vespa Brooklyn and was thrilled to find my yellow Sprint 150 waiting for me. The purchase process with Dimitrius was seamless. I was in-​and-​out with my new baby in an hour!

I had a very pleasant experience with Dimitris and James and highly recommend going here to any new riders. I had no experience in buying a vespa and had only rented/​ridden scooters a few times. All my questions were answered including how to get a permit and where to enroll for Motorcycle safety school.
I was also surprised how quickly the process was for finding the right VESPA, putting a deposit on it and closing the deal including getting financing and insurance. This is really a full service shop and I’d definitely recommend it !! Thanks Dimitris!

I just picked up a new Vespa Sprint S. The scooter is amazing. Dimitris is the salesperson that helped me and he made the whole process extremely easy. I added some accessories and he took care of all of that. Delivery was super easy. A great buying experience and I would highly recommend Vespa Brooklyn.

Purchased a Moto Guzzi v7II Special from this location. I do not live in the area and was really hesitant but after getting Exceptional Customer Service. They Earned the right to have my busines.
I was approached and helped by David Tineo.
Surprisingly I felt not rushed or pressured. Nothing like I received at another dealership I visited. I had an idea of what I wanted but was still on the fence. I feel that having a
Great Product like the products they sell should not require pressure or added BS from salesmen and I found David to be genuine in his approach and is confident in the products he offers. He was very professional to both my wife and I and brought us to the service area to let us listen to the distinct soumd of the moto guzzi v7 II.
I had my mind set out for a black stone v7 II but the wife had a different idea and loved the look of the special.
David took the time to listen to my concerns and what was perventing the purchase and took a proactive approach to accomodate solutions.
We came to an agreement to include delivery of my new bike and a handfull accessories at a fair rate.
Best of all David gave me the time to make the decision which took approx 3 days.
We worked out a plan and scheduled everything.
A few things that helped make the decision easier was the quick turn around on any communication sent.
Emails
Phone calls.
Etc.
From Start to Finish it was a great experience.
Had opportunity to interact with Andrew (owner) he was also very accomodating and got my paperwork in order and did not try to upsell me on anything which is an A+.
Delivery was also on schedule.
If I am ever in the market for a new bike. This is where I am going.

No, owner is very rude, the repair was, charged my bank card for a 500 dollar bill, the said the charge went threw. The owner called me approximately 3 weeks latter. He screamed it me your card was declined and told me my bill now was approximately 1200, more than doubled. If you own a aprila or Vespa go to gold cost motor sports on Long Island.

David was the man. He was informative and patient when my girlfriend and I were choosing which Vespa we wanted to buy. He gave us time to think and wasn’t pushy at all. He even spent extra time on showing us on how to use the vespa since it was our first time owning won. I really appreciated David’s help and I would definitely recommend speaking to him when you are thinking about buying one. Overall good shop and they take good care of their customers.

These guys really understand service. They are not only nice they are smart. Chris the service manager stayed on the phone with me for twenty minutes, while I pulled over to the side of the road when my bike stopped. He troubleshot then told me exactly what to do… he was very patient and helpful. I live in the UWS but there is only one place I will take this bike and my next bike from here on.

Crystall in Manhattan and Andrew in Brooklyn made my dreams come true. Absolutely love my Moto Guzzi !!!

Great shop and great dude working there. Showed up the first time unannounced for emission sticker and 2000 mile service and they attended me without any trouble. Went back to fix me Vespa after it was knocked over by the wind. She looks good as new and was taken care of in just a few days. Chris is an awesome dude, always available over phone and stands by his word.

This was my first experience buying a scooter and Andrew and James definitely made it easy for me. They were very polite, explained everything, weren’t pushy, held the scooter at the dealership until I was able to pick it up, and gave me a great price on an older model. I really appreciated all of this after coming in contact on the phone with several dealerships that were unresponsive, showed disrespect on the phone, or just acted like they didn’t care. I absolutely recommend them for your scooter buying needs.

If you are looking to purchase a new or used Vespa look no further. Chris who runs the service department is super helpful and has made sure that my GTS 300 is in top working order for the past 3 years. From flat tires, oil changes, tune ups, and accessory add ons, Chris will give you an honest answer and a fair price.

Bought me 1^st Vespa here in 2011. Great service and would totally recommend them to a friend. Had a crash 3 years ago and decided to get it fixed. I didn’t have insurance because I haven’t ridden since. They totally worked with my budget and went over and beyond expectations with what I was working with.

I’m always a happy customer whenever I need repairs or upgrades done to my 2013 Aprilia Mana 850 GT. The service manager Chris is prompt, courteous and professional. My most recent issue was resolved in about 4 hours and I didn’t have to leave my neighborhood! (MY BIKE WOULDN’T START BECAUSE OF DEAD BATTERY). Chris sent over a truck to pick up my bike, called me when the bike arrived at the shop and quoted me on what was needed. He then promised to have my bike back in the same spot where they picked it up within 4 hours! He kept his word and I was able to ride again. Thanks Chris! & the tow truck guy for today (I forget his name).

After so many years of dealing with the nightmare that was Vespa Soho it is so refreshing to deal with the service department at Vespa Brooklyn. In addition to regular maintenance, I’ve had my GTS 300 trashed dumped twice in the last year by inconsiderate drivers. Both times, Vespa Brooklyn picked the bike up in Manhattan, took care of all my insurance logistics and repaired the bike in a timely manner. Chris and all the guys in the department are the best. Quick, professional, reliable service. Just wish they were in Manhattan!

Great shop, great bikes, great staff, great deals. I have a Vespa in Queens about 2 min from my home and still make the trip to Brooklyn for these guys. Andrew the President has been super helpful and nothing but a pleasure to deal with. I am a complicated client, however they are more than willing to handle all my needs.

Took my motorcycle (2013 Moto Guzzi V7) here because the dash flashed MAINT after 4660 miles and I didn’t care to research anything about my bike. Had I researched, I would have found out that the model year of my bike shouldn’t have needed servicing until 6214 miles but sometimes the dashes will still be programmed to show maintenance intervals from a older model.
Vespa Brooklyn could have done the HONEST thing, cleared out the warning on my dash, explained the new service intervals, and sent me on my way but instead decided to do their DISHONEST scumbag siphoning of my wallet. They not only performed the 6214 mile service, they also decided to do the more expensive 12,000 mile servicing so they could rack up more unneeded labor time and inflate the bill.
OK, I could maybe tolerate the excessive servicing if it was done correctly but these thieves couldn’t even do that. The airfilter and fork oil was never replaced, the bike was ready on the same day so the valve adjustments couldn’t have been done correctly (valves need to be set on a cold engine after sitting overnight), and the final drive fluid drain bolt wasn’t properly closed so my bike was leaking oil all over my rear wheel while I was obliviously bombing down the BQE. These shadetree swindlers could have seriously killed me with that last screwup.
In short, I will never trust my bike with Vespa Brooklyn’s service dept ever again, and if you care for your well being you won’t either.

Upon reviewing the bill that I paid, it would seem that I paid for a 12 000 mile servicing as I was charged 150 minutes of labour time which is in EXCESS of the 130 minutes that Piaggo allocates for the 12 000 mile service. I was also charged for the final drive gear oil and the transmission oil change which IS part of the 12 000 mile service.
I do believe I was charged for the valve adjustments as I was also charged for 2 new valve cover gaskets, Unless you can explain what servicing needed at 4660 miles was done which needed both valve covers to be removed…
I assure you the bolts on my final drive hub were obviously loose and oozing oil, my final drive seals are fine as I’ve torqued all the drain and fill bolts to correct factory settings as per the shop manual and haven’t had a problem since.
But all these points are moot as I shouldn’t have needed ANY work done at my mileage.
Best case scenario, you guys are honest but unknowledgable about servicing the products you sell.
Worst case, your service dept is dishonest and takes advantage of uninformed motorcycle owners and rip them off with shoddy and unnecessary work.

I stand by my original review and I would like to offer you the opportunity to review it with me on this site to be viewed by all potential customers, to explain the services you performed, line by line, according to the manufacturer specifications and your personal experiences with the V7 model. Feel free to respond so all potential customers can view.
–Why was any servicing needed at 4800 miles?
–I can understand if the 6000 mile service was done early but then why wasn’t that done properly? No air filter, no valve adjustments (according to you)
–Why are some items from the 12 000 mile service done (transmission and final drive) but not others? No fork oil change, no valve adjustment (according to you)
–If no valve adjustments were done as you claim why were both valve heads removed?
–Why was 150 minutes of labor time charged if the more labor intensive 12 000 mile service (which you claimed I wasn’t charged for) only takes 130 minutes and the 6000 mile service only takes 70 minutes?
-$ 25 for 2 NGK sparkplugs? C’mon man…

This place is terrific. Each and every time I need work done on my Vespa – be it an annual inspection or an emergency blown gas-​line – they accept the bike immediately without appointment and turn it around expeditiously. I love the staff – Chris especially – and their retail section (helmets, chains, covers) has everything you need. Also… the fact that it’s at the bottom of a very large hill helps a LOT in situations of a broken down scooter. And I know because I’ve been at the top of that hill when my Vespa pooped out! Thanks guys.

I bought my Vespa here a few years ago. Ive also been doing my winter storage here for the last few years. Bottom line… I spent over 10k here in the last few years.
I recently needed to get an estimate for a repair. They wanted to charge me $ 160 to give me an estimate. They said they would refund me if I got the repair there. I explained to Chris that I was a long time customer and bought the bike there. «It doesn’t matter its shop policy».
Well that was the last time they will be hearing from me.
I am now doing all my repairs at Scooter Bottega in Redhook, Brooklyn. Much better customer service and no attitude.

Just picked up my new Guzzi yesterday and wow. Incredible. So much fun. I didn’t want to call it a night after I picked up this joy of a ride. I went into the shop a few weeks ago to window shop and well, I knew it was the one I wanted. It was just a matter of when. They had a special going on for the financing on the leftover models, and a little bit off the sticker price helped too. I took the plunge and bought it. Through the pickup and stopping by once in between I spoke to three of the sales reps (Shain, David, and Andrew), all were very nice and no pressure about the sale. Shain rides the same bike and was knowledgeable about the bike and had suggestions for a places to ride out of the city, maintenance and all the things to get started. It is was all very convenient, no trip to the DMV necessary, they do all of it for you.

I bought my first Vespa about two months ago from Vespa Brooklyn. I walked in not knowing much, apart from some online research. My salesperson, Misha, w
as very helpful and answered all of my questions with no pressure to buy the same day. I was back a few days later and purchased my first Vespa! The team
at Vespa Brooklyn was very quick and efficient in getting me registered, insured and riding within 2 hours.
Came in for my first service yesterday, was
greeted with a smile by Misha (great feeling when your salesperson remembers you) and he took me to the service department, introduced me to the service
advisor, Chris, and had me scheduled. The entire service team was very helpful in explaining my first service, the cost and when it would be ready.
The
whole experience (sales and service) was great, felt very comfortable and was not rushed or put under any pressure at all. I have already recommended tw
o friends to Vespa Brooklyn and would not hesitate to do the same for anyone looking for a new scooter.
