24-hour open-air market with an emphasis on fruits & vegetables, plus a full range of grocery items.
History
Established in 1998.
For over 30 years and three generations, Three Guys from Brooklyn has been a veritable institution in Brooklyn. It all started when Stanley Zimmerman put up a fruit store on 65th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway in 1975. In 1978, Stanley, along with his brother Howard and his brother in law Harry (the original Three Guys), moved to another location. When the corner of 65th St and Fort Hamilton Parkway became available again in 1998, Stanley’s two sons, Scott and Howard, with their friend Philip Penta, revived the business. The new «Three Guys» continued the tradition of selling only the highest quality produce at affordable prices. Today, the family still remains a big part of the business and people of all ages, ethnicities and origins come from near and far to get their fruits and vegetables from Three Guys from Brooklyn. We are proud to be a part of this wonderful community and look forward to many great years to come!

Business Owner
As partners of Three Guys from Brooklyn, Phil and Scotty are proud to operate one of the few remaining open air fruit markets in NYC. People often joke that our business is like the UN of grocery stores, a place where everyone comes together despite their differences to share in the great deals and fresh produce. We have the most ethnically diverse clientele anywhere, and offer special fruit and vegetables needs to happily satisfy every population including Italian, Asain, Sephardic and Hasidic Jews, Russians and Middle Easterners. It is also a neighborhood place where old friends meet, neighbors run into each other and families come to shop together. We have become a Brooklyn landmark and recognize the importance of giving back to the community that has allowed us to flourish. From Phil and Scotty, we invite you to visit Three Guys from Brooklyn and hope to meet you soon!
