This place is a major key to success. Go there and enjoy it, because they don’t want you to enjoy.

My wife and I decided to try Willy B’s latest opening. Great vibe! Classic old school feel as soon as you walk in. We started with the Honey Bourbon wings and the Fried Burrata. Both were delicious. For the mains, my wife had the Short Ribs and I had the Smoking Salmon. The ribs were tender and mouthwatering(My wife’s words). The Salmon was fresh, and paired with the cauliflower purée, was very tasty! We also had the fried pickles and jalapeño creamed corn. Both did not disappoint! The corn had a very nice kick! Overall, it was a great night. And the price was right! Which was a pleasant surprise for Williamsburg. We will be back for sure! Recommended.

A big fan of Hotel Chantelle, I eagerly awaited the opening of their new Williamsburg project, The Regal. Happy to say that this restaurant exceeded expectations. Absolutely incredible. Cocktails, customer service, atmosphere, a simple yet ultra-intriguing menu: everything about The Regal was impeccably curated, providing an incomparably indulgent experience. Visited for the first time last night and already looking forward to going back soon.

A great new spot in Williamsburg! The food, service and drinks are great even though the kitchen is still working out the timing of the dishes.

This new Willy B hidden Gem is a great Date night location. We now have an awesome addition to the ever growing list of reputable names calling Brooklyn its home. What’s best is now you can get a taste of Hotel Chantelle aesthetics without having to trek into the city. Add in the affordable price points and you have a perfect combination for midweek date nights. I will definitely be making my way back here for my weekly dosage of Old Fashions done right. PS If you are one of the many Mac and Cheese aficionados, you should definitely put this spot on your bucket list.

Slow service, one rude bartender, mediocre food. My group was missing many of our appetizers, the drinks came very late, and the food itself was only okay. The décor of the place is lovely, but they have a lot of kinks to work out. One of the bartenders was just outright rude. The chicken sandwich is billed as spicy but it’s actually covered in very sweet honey sauce — not a nice surprise. I would skip this place until they get it together.

I was really excited to try this place out. And I’m so glad they lived up to my expectations and way more. I am so happy this place opened up!!! I was just saying how there’s no good go to date spots for good small sharing plates and nice cocktails and then this place came about. Let me begin by talking about the décor. Has that classic 20’s theatre/gatsby feel to it. Red booths along the wall, and smaller tables in the middle. Beautiful bar with that speakeasy vibe. The waiters are very attentive. If I say I needed a napkin before I could call a waiter over I had a napkin in my hand. The drinks were only $ 10! That’s amazing. It’s nearly unheard to go anywhere and get a good cocktail for less than $ 15. They have so many cool cocktails to choose from. The manager was really nice and gave us our first round on the house! Now the moment you’ve all been waiting for… the food! They have so many great options. Great for sharing. We shared the meatball, fried burrata and the tuna melt with sushi grade Tuna. Everything tastes amazing. Homemade sauce, fresh ingredients and all came out very quickly. My favorite was the Burrata. Didn’t want to share. All in all, great spot, and great prices! I will be back very soon! Ps: was very upset I missed food baby’s appearance by a few minutes!

Great addition to willyb. The meatball is serious, the mac n cheese is crazy and the beet tartare was a tasty surprise. Now on to the big guns, i loved the spicy fried chicken sandwich and my friends had the short rib which they allowed me to taste and it was amazing. Def going back for that. As for cocktails, i tried the mezcalito fox and powder keg which were awesome and only $ 9& $ 11 bucks. Cant beat that. See u soon

Spending a lot of time in this area, I had been eagerly awaiting the opening of The Regal for weeks. It looked very nice from the outside and had had a menu displayed for a while, so I was pretty excited to go to the opening last night. Yay first review!(So I’ll give a long review for everyone who hasn’t been yet.) It didn’t disappoint. The Regal is a great addition to the area — trendy, but reasonably priced, and also has that slight hipster vibe that Williamsburg loves(i.e. light up peace sign on the wall). It’s a place that you could go to have either food or great cocktails(or both!). AND their kitchen doesn’t close until 5AMONTHEWEEKENDS /2AM SUN-WED(!!!) After a long night at the bars nearby and in the mood for something other than dollar pizza, that’s definitely something to take advantage of. It’s not a large space but definitely spacious enough where the tables are not on top of each other. There are tables against the wall and spread in the middle, then a bar along one end with bar stools that you can sit at. The seats along the wall are this really pretty red patent-type of material. They also have a coat check — perfect for cold January when we’re all layering up. I’d say it’s better for smaller groups, but we had a group of 6 and they were able to accommodate us just fine. Drinks: When we sat down, our waitress immediately asked if she could suggest something on the drink menu based on whether we were in the mood for something sweet, sour, fruity, etc. She seemed like she knew what she was talking about. My boyfriend wanted something with whiskey, and she recommended a drink that he claimed was«really really good.» I got the vodka smash, which has fresh fruits, ginger beer, mint, lemon, and vodka — it was SOGOOD. They really make the drinks look pretty too — with fancy cups and decorative ingredients(look at my pictures). They emphasize that they barrel-age a lot of their liquor, so it’s definitely a big cocktail spot. Cocktails are ~$ 10. Food: I got the meatball appetizer, which has cheese inside the meatball(4⁄5). I also got the brussels sprouts side and it was amazing — very crispy and had an apple cider flavor to it(5⁄5). My boyfriend got the spicy chicken sandwich, which he claimed was decent(3.5÷5). There were a lot of plates that other people in the restaurant ordered that looked amazing, so we’ll definitely be back to try more options. You can expect to spend ~$ 15 – 25 on food per person. In summary: really cool atmosphere, friendly/quick service, decent prices, awesome cocktails, definitely have to come back and try even more of the food.
