I liked it a lot here! It’s close to our house, but away from all the Park Slope hubbub. The bar had a healthy group of people in it for a Tuesday evening, which was nice. The beer list was good, music was nice, bartender was friendly. The beer selection was great as well. This was a really great, chill spot to just sit in and let the day go on.

Hey! Prices that won’t kill you, amazing! Selection? Not bad at all, I believe they do rotate the beer’s on tap regularly which is nice. The inside seems to always been well cleaned to me and they go for a rustic, forest-y feel, perhaps a little more character with the paint or furniture or something and it could be really quaint. Usually after work this spot is a nice quiet place to enjoy a drink with a friend.

Love this place. Good neighborhood vibe and an excellent staff and craft beer selection make it easy to keep coming here. The owners, if you happen to be here when they are working(yes, they do work here from time to time) treat you very well and make an effort to know their clientele beyond just a hello. Limited food menu but they are open to delivery and, with le paddock next door, it’s not a problem.

Arrived here before the rest of my party and met with incredibly friendly and helpful staff who added my name to the list for a table and brought us beer to drink while we waited for our table. The beer list is fantastic, and the service was impeccable. Really friendly atmosphere, good for small groups. I highly recommend you try the gumbo poutine! It was fantastic(as was everything we tried).

I love this place, and am so happy to have it in the neighborhood. Windsor Terrace is lovely and quiet and residential, and while I’d like it to stay that way, I can’t complain about high quality additions like The Adirondack joining the neighborhood. Everyone that works here is always pleasant, they let you sample a beer before committing, and even when it’s full, the clientele it attracts are never obnoxious. Music tends to be great and I love the warm cozy cabin feel of the place. My husband and I like to stop in here for a couple post-work drinks on Friday nights, and we are never disappointed. My only wish is that they could offer more food(though pickles and pretzels and the few sandwiches on the menu are awesome). I wish this because we would sit here a lot longer if there was more than just snacks, but it’s probably better for our livers and waistlines that they don’t. Though I’d say this bar is exceptional for beer drinkers, they’ve got a nice list of cocktails, wines and the young guy with the beard made me an excellent dirty vodka martini, so I think anyone would be happy here. But, if you’re a beer drinker, this is a good place to find a new and exciting Empire State brew.

We found this place after the Brooklyn Rock and Roll half marathon. We had a small group of 6 very thirsty and hungry. Kristen the bartender had her hands full with the crowd but kept pace with everyone. She was able to get drinks and serve the food they offered there. She also told us we could bring food in from across the street. We had a great time and will return if we go back next year.

I love this bar. I may be biased because I live *really* close but it’s adorable, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, the drinks are good, the prices are good and when I have forgotten or had no time to go grocery shopping they have some sandwiches. In a neighborhood where there’s nothing much open after 10pm, this is great to have a place to go. The crowd here is also very friendly. It’s very much a neighborhood bar and it’s pretty easy to have a great conversation or make a new friend here. Cheers!

Great addition to the neighborhood. Would give it another star if they would improve their wine list. Pretty, please?

On a Sunday night, AMANDA saved the damn day! She’s so awesome! Soulful young lady with an insane ITunes list! She makes a great champagne cocktail! Love this bar! Will frequent it! Seriously I’m still smiling with a nice buzz! Ha! What a great night!

Been coming here for a while and love the place. The bartenders are very personable and friendly, and really seem interested and in getting to know the clientele. Last time we came in it was relatively empty and chatted with Kristen and Mario for about an hour. For a low-key neighborhood place I couldn’t ask for anything better. Also the best old fashioned I’ve had.

Laid back vibe and cool bartenders. Great addition to the neighborhood. Sometimes it’s hard to grab an outside table on weekends, but there are lots of windows so it’s still nice to sit inside.

I feel like this is starting to become the Double Windsor that no one really knows about yet and I hope it stays that way. I live nearby and there aren’t a whole lot of options in the area. But the area of Windsor Terrace/Kensington is blooming and this is a solid craft bar that we desperately needed. Each time I’ve been in there has been a solid rotating craft beer menu. Usually always see Finback, Rockaway, Other Half brewery on tap. Some more interesting ones like Third Rail’s Alternate Side. A dollar off all brews before 7pm and $ 4 wells. They also have a pac man game in the corner. But overall, I think its a very homey — neighborhood type bar and that’s what makes me come back. They have a small bar menu of panini sandwiches and hot pretzels, pickles, and olives as well for the ravenous. The inside has paintings of some fresh piney mountain scapes atop little alcoves off to the side of the bar for more communal seating. For the warmer and nice weather they also have a front outdoor patio.

Awesome place to have a mid-day brew or two! Sat outside for a few hours playing card games with some friends. The bartender(Kristen, I think!?) was awesome, so laid-back and friendly with great beer suggestions. Great neighborhood bar that’s very chill! Their prices are pretty standard but I found out they do have some canned domestic and mexican beers that are pretty cheap, $ 3-$ 4.

Great little neighborhood bar w/great beer. Perfect stop after hopping off the train on the way home. Great music too. And, hey, I know this sounds picky — but I wish they would invest in some more substantial comfy furniture… Inside is just okay… Not great. And I really love that there is the outdoor area in summer — but the tables & chairs are so flimsy — I’m afraid one little bump & my drink will go flying off the wobbly table!

Great neighborhood Brooklyn bar – the kind you miss when you leave Brooklyn(though I never lived in a neighborhood as nice as Windsor Terrace when I was there). Fantastic beer selection here – with just the right seasonals for this time of year(extreme beers, including stouts). Didn’t try the food. The place is small and cozy, perfect for reading a newspaper or watching your phone nervously before a low-key date. You don’t want to come here to rage or make much noise in general, from the looks of things. Full of local couples and their toddlers when we visited, so beware if you’re an anti-breeder.

A friend of mine was visiting-well he’s a native, I’m the transplant and he suggested this place which was near where his family is and(fortunately) for me a ride on the G. 1) the place is right off the Ft. Hamilton stop. Literally, 2) a lot of beer selection, especially from some great Brooklyn/Queens locals. 3) a pretty damn good grilled cheese sandwich for a decent price. The only downside is that it’s a little on the smaller side in the winter, it looks like they have a large outdoor patio section for the warmer months.

This is an awesome neighborhood bar with a fantastic selection of NY state beers. No short of twelve draughts rotating frequently there is always something delicious and seasonal on tap. Extra bonus– it’s right above the subway steps at the back end of the Ft. Hamilton pkwy stop. Did I mention they take credit cards?! Extra awesome, and that they’ll make you a delicious hot toasty bagel with honey mustard for four bucks?! Ridiculous! Come here now! And if you get here soon. You should be drinking Other Half Brewery’s «Green Diamonds», it’s sick. You’re on your own now, make me proud.
