By the time customers check in on Unilocal to see a review of the Laundromat, it’s usually too late. The place is apparently under new management. Everything seems broken — I mean not only the machines, but also the new«management.» Long story short, it took me two trips to do my laundry, and I’m now back home, with wet clothes. If there is a way to successfully get a load of clothes done here, I don’t know what it is. For the love of god, go somewhere else on Court or Smith…

Came here at 7:30AM the past two Sundays and it hasn’t open until 7:50 despite the sign clearly stating the laundromat opens at 7:30. –1 star

Comes with the same frustrations any laundromat comes with, but in comparison to the places around it, this is the best by far.

I walk 5 blocks from my apt past 2 other laundromats to come here, as does my roommate. It’s clean, machines are nicer than typical, $ 2 for small load and $ 4 for large. I do my own because I air dry a lot of stuff, the girls working here are all pretty nice. It’s also open later than the others in the area, last load is at like 9p I think

They’ve lost my shirt that I had dry cleaned by them for two weeks. Despite calling the owner twice, it was not resolved in a timely manner. I was told to come in bc they had found it only to be told when I arrived that they didn’t have the shirt and knew nothing about it. Only after multiple calls on my part was it resolved. Additionally, there are three women who do the laundry who are great and friendly. However there is a fourth, who chastised us for taking laundry out that was dried despite the fact that there was a LINE of people waiting to put their laundry in and there was a dryer we had waited over five minutes for for someone to take it out. She was especially rude concerning a dryer that was being used by her for service laundry that we had taken out after it was done and despite the fact we asked several people who were waiting for laundry to be done if it was theirs before touching it. As she was chastising us, I pointed out there was no note on the door like they normally have to indicate that it was a service laundry so that we’d know to notify them to take it out — she pointedly said that we’re not to touch any dryers with clothes in them even if they’re done — I said so even though there’s a line, we asked everyone around us if it was theirs — we should just wait until someone comes to get it even if that’s as long as it takes. She said you’re never supposed to touch them. Side note — our laundry has been taken out TONS of times here within a minute of it being done and if we’re not there I have no problem with them taking it out — that’s how it goes. There are too many laundry places nearby to put up with rude behavior. We are done.

Great Launderette with unbeatable rates and super friendly staff. I was a regular at another Launderette until I discovered this place. A regular self-service wash is only £2 and the machines are all new, work perfectly and have a digital timer on the front(very handy). The dryers are an absolute bargain — a quarter gets you 8 minutes drying time… So you can have your laundry washed and dried for about four bucks! Amazing value! The staff are really helpful and friendly — and even offered me a couple of fabric softening dryer balls for free use when I was drying a comforter. Best launderette in the area by a mile!

I like this place. It’s a laundromat. Not a 5 star restaurant. You either drop off or you do it yourself. Either way, both options are the cheapest in the area. The small washer in quick wash mode is only 1.75 and the dryers are .25 per 8 min. The employees are all very nice and always say hello. I’ve dropped off my stuff a few times and it’s always been finished extremely quickly and they do a nice job folding.

I’ve tried both self-service and drop-off laundry and I go there every week. The price is reasonable, and their staff are very friendly and always do a great job. One of the girls has once taught me some tips when I was doing self-service. My only complaint is the environment could be cleaner.

Clean, efficient, temperature regulated dryers. Twenty-five cents will buy you 8 minutes of effective drying.

I dropped my stuff off at 3 and at 5:30 I’m picking it up. The lady is very nice and in my book they rule because they helped me out in a bind.

This is a laundromat. A quick, simple, do-it-yourself laundromat. Yes, there is a very nice man who can do it for you for .75 cents per pound(which is a great deal) but, you can not be surprised if it doesn’t live up to other more expensive alternatives in the area. My experience: After calculating how much money I was wasting on doing drop-off laundry, I decided to turn my Monday night into laundry night. Donning some awesome eight grade bell-bottoms and mickey mouse t-shirt, I tried Super Laundromat at the encouragement of a neighbor. At $ 4 for a huge washer($ 2 for the smaller ones), you can fit two weeks worth of towels, clothing, sheets and much more. Then at 25 cents for eights minutes(about $ 2 for an hour) to dry, it’s a pretty good deal. The washers and driers are easy to use. They have step stools for those of us who are vertically challenged. The laundry carts, to roll from washer to drier, are both functional and fun(the eight year old in me just wants to run with it). And the folding tables are large and spacious. The one thing they could do to make it better would be better seating options but, that’s marginally important when you can just go get a coffee at Van Leeuwen’s while you wait. So all in all, if you’re looking to do your laundry in the area and want to save a good $ 10 from the drop-off services, Super Laundromat is definitely the place to get your tighty whities whiter.

Every laundromat has two sides to it, the drop off service(which is what the other two Unilocalers have reviewed), and the self-service. Doing your own laundry?(gasp) What a peasant thing to do, right? Super Laundry just opened this past year so everything is brand new, they even sprung for some high tech washers and driers with LCD screens on them. Despite everything being new they always seem to have cardboard covering the floor in the entrance for some reason, something I wish they’d get rid of. Their hours are great(7:30am-11pm) and the prices on the machines are the lowest in the neighborhood. Small washers are $ 2, large washers are $ 4(which I think are a little bigger than other places large washers), and dryers are 25 cents for 8 minutes. There’s a few reasons I can’t give them 5 stars though: –The washer cycle is 41 minutes!(most other places are around 24) –When placing quarters in the dryer the amount you’ve put in or the time increase doesn’t show until you press start –The woman working there speaks almost no English –I came back to my dryer when it was supposed to be done(I paid for an hour) and it was off and 40minutes was left on the timer(obviously my clothes were still soaked). Assuming the machine didn’t stop itself that means someone opened the dryer and closed it. I couldn’t tell if anything was missing but this little incident was an unfortunate mystery and a real pain

oh, snap! figured out that the last time I saw my Hudson Park pillow sham slips was when I dropped them off here. Instead, I found a dingy, long sleeved tee-shirt bearing a beer logo that didn’t belong to me. Again…the grimacing goes on…

They recently raised their prices, so I’ve stopped coming here. If you live right in the neighborhood they’re still not a bad deal, but nothing to go out of your way for.
