At our spacious, light-filled studio in Brooklyn Heights we offer Pilates, Rehabilitation, Fitness Training, and even Pre– or Post-Natal classes for all ages and levels of experience. Streamline Pilates Studio has been serving our Brooklyn community for over a decade! We’ve helped countless clients to feel good about themselves and their body through pilates training and encouragement. We look forward to many more years of helping to improve your health and overall wellness!
Meet the Business Owner
Charlotte P.
Business Owner
Charlotte Butler Penenberg has been teaching Pilates since 1998 and is the owner of Streamline Pilates Studio in Brooklyn Heights, New York. Trained through PhysicalMind Institute in San Francisco, California, and a member of the Pilates Method Alliance, she has studied with Jean-Claude West, Madeline Black and Irene Dowd. Originally from Chicago, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1988. She is a certified massage therapist and brings 20 years of experience in massage and structural bodywork to her Pilates practice. While learning the Lauren Berry Method, a structural bodywork technique, she apprenticed under Scott Turrin and studied corrective muscle techniques with Lynda Caesara. She completed her Masters Certificate in Pilates from The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado in August 2012. She runs a Pilates studio out of the Heights Casino, also in Brooklyn Heights, New York.
