Honestly the BEST Donuts I had in my life! They definitely blow away any Donut place I went to especially Dunkin Donuts(Ironically they are a few shops down) If you go here your mouth will fall in love with their donuts GUARANTEED! Oh the prices per dozen is about $ 6.00 a few dollars cheaper than Dunking but taste way better!

I wish Unilocal would allow us to have a breakdown and show what contributes to a review because I was torn between if I should give this place 4 or 5 stars(more on that later). This place is a total hole in the wall but they do make damn good food. Their donuts are delicious and fresh. My favorite is the jelly filled donut, there’s not so much jelly that it gets all over you and the jelly is different from your typical jelly filled donut it’s like a rich raspberry filling, it’s not bright red like you see in cheap DD donuts. Their cinnamon rolls are really tasty too and giant for only a dollar. While their donuts are really good what blew me away was their tacos. I have seen the signs up with their food but never tried them until my boyfriend told me to. We both had a chicken and pork taco and it was the best taco I’ve ever had. Trust me, I’ve had a lot of tacos. The chicken taco was drier than the pork but that was to be expected because pork has more fat than chicken. It was so well seasoned you didn’t have to put anything on it but me being me, I had to put SOME hot sauce on it. They also make really good coffee here, the guy melts the sugar with the hot coffee first before he adds milk to it so you don’t get the annoying sugar grains at the bottom of your coffee. The reason I cannot bring myself to give this place 5 stars is because they’re a donut shoppe and I feel like it should be their donuts that wow me not their tacos. Maybe they should change their name so it makes more sense? I didn’t pay but from what I remember prices we’re very reasonable $ 2 for a taco that’s stuffed with meat? Yes, please!

Awesome donuts… there are some clowns on Unilocal that say the donuts are average… nonsense! Quality ingredients and fresh, now I read a review from a fox e guy who said the donuts were stale ?? What time did u go fool? U know donuts are made in the morning right? In all these years never have I had a stale donut here.

Fresh and tasty Donuts for reasonable prices. I love their cheese danish for breakfast, it is fresh and awesome. $ 1.50 Another good thing is that it is open late, or maybe even twenty four hours, haven’t been there for that late time since I only came here couple of time when I got a chance to be in this neighborhood. Expect heavy crowds in the morning though and not a great atmosphere and customer service.

Since I was craving for sweets the bf told me he found a donut shop that had really good reviews & was featured on Unilocal. It was almost 11pm but he said what’s cool about this place is that it is 24⁄7. I said yes let’s go(my options were limited). We have driven pass this coffee shop numerous of times but it never crossed my mind to try it. The donuts are good — he paid $ 5& change for a DOZEN donuts!!! That is freaking insane esp since I usually pay $ 3 to $ 4 per donuts. The donuts were good. Not overly sweet & had a chewy texture. Do not expect anything fancy. When you step inside it feels as if time stood still. It’s def a mom & pop shop(very old school feel!). I’m a sucker for«vintage». I will def come back again but once in a while(I’m a fan of gluten free/vegan sweets). If you don’t care about gluten free/organic/vegan then I highly recommend you trying this place out.

Small, no frills donut and coffee shop. The usual options. I got Boston cream. 70 cents. It was delicious. Much better than Dunkin.

Came here early in the morning expecting fresh donuts and a wide variety. There were a few donuts, nothing very fresh. Bought a couple of donuts to go and tried them both, they were ok but nothing special. The donuts were soft and tasty but not much better than a early morning dunkin donuts doughnut. If you’re looking for something special go to the doughnut plant or dough.

Great donuts and extremely cheap(70 cents for a donut) Open 24 hours a day Not a giant selection but went around 2 pm so perhaps best ones were sold out. Can sit at counter or small tables Not cleanliest place but it’s a small donut shop with a B grading Have Snapple and other sugary drinks(no real juice available)

This place has been here for years, a little old school diner feeling with people that have been coming here for years makes it a nice stop for a donut or a quick bite. Service is usually good and food is affordable

False advertising. They don’t sell milkshaikh’s. However, if you go too long without having their coffee, you may get the shakes. The good: The coffee tastes surprisingly pretty good They are open 24 hours The service is pretty good depending on who is working There are no naked people in here The bad: The donuts are pretty average Sometimes the donuts can be a little stale There are no naked people in here That just about sums it up. If you’re all the way down here on Ave U, grab yourself a coffee and an average mediocre donut and see if you agree with me. Much better to buy stuff from here than from a chain. And I recommend the Proscuitto Balls at nearby G & S Salumeria. And I can still hear you saying we would never break the chain. And if you don’t love me now, you will never love me again.

I love the existence of this place. I love passing by it, knowing it’s there. However, I would never buy anything here. The patrons, service, ambiance– read flies on doughnuts, make me quite queasy. Sanitary conditions are a non compromising factor. The fact that this place hadn’t been shut down shows the flaws in the system, or somebody has an in. Either way, it’s a pass

Eek I question their food sanitary. the last time I went to get food the guy used the same towel to wipe stove table counter to wipe his hand and touch my food… Not appetizing. I didn’t eat much of it but my bf finished it for me. We both felt horrible afterwards. I haven’t tried their pastries but I do question it sometimes. They seem to never close it’s doors ever even on a holiday which I guess is a place for people to go to anytime. Maybe in the future I will try again.

So i had a sweet tooth tonight and after the reading the reviews i was confident that this place would definitely satisfy it and it did but it def wasn’t what i was expecting… Mayb because it was late like 12 am they only had 5 doughnuts avail … éclair, sugar raised, Jelly, Boston crème and Regular sprinkles so i was a bit disappointed i wanted to pick from a variety… So i got a half dozen and they were fresh, soft and delicious but i was just expecting more i guess… All the stools were full with old men so it was a grab and go … For $ 3.50 and a cute box with a tie it cannot be beat…

Ate there Friday March 13th in the mid afternoon. Had 3 chicken tacos. Not great. Some mystery chunks of chicken placed on the flattop with a few slivers of onions and placed on two flour tortillas. Served with salsa verde. Some chicken chunks had gristle. Kind of dry. Marinated chicken should have more flavor and should be sorted better to remove unedible parts. Maybe was a bad day for tacos. Will g ive it another try. On the other hand coffee was hot and good. Strong tasting as it should be. Donuts are fresh and fantastic. So many varieties to choose from. Puts Dunkin’ Donuts to shame! I am very glad this old school business makes their own donuts. The best in Brooklyn! 70 cents each or 12 for $ 5.50! How cool is that! Also open 24 hours a day for that EARLY morning breakfast before getting on the«Q» train to work.

Good donuts. Surprised that they’re located in the midst of an Asian neighborhood. I got the boston crème and strawberry glazed with sprinkles — it was delightful to devour! The texture was rich and moist, fluffy as well. Will be back

Donuts are so legit. Coffee is bad though, but that’s okay. Super cheap too, 70c per donut. I had the apple filled and the glazed, both were the best I ate in NYC

They have doughnuts. They have bagels. They have a grill. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks… oh my! Actually, the place is kind of dumpy on the outside and on the inside… but this adds to the whole«old school doughnut shop» experience. Boston cream, sugared, chocolate coconut, glazed, jelly, apple filled and the list goes on and on. I would definitely consider these to be awesome doughnuts that far exceed what you might expect from say, D.D. Not sure if I’d drive totally out of my way to come back, but I certainly would return if I was in the neighborhood.

Want to travel back in time to the 1950s? Just step inside this donut shop and you’ll do just that. I passed by here so many times over the years and it was only recently that my donut craving lured me inside. Yeah, so what if it’s a hole in the wall place with dirty counters and creepy guys sitting on the stool. I was on a mission when I went in. To try those donuts! 6 donuts for $ 3.50? I walked out giddy and wallet still heavy. After I got home, I finally tried all(glazed, jelly and chocolate). I’ve had doughnut plant, krispy crème, you name it, I’ve probably had it. So when I say these doughnuts are on par with them, that really means something. It’s light, fluffy inside, fresh and best of all, not greasy. This really lived up to the 4 star review and I’m so glad to finally try it. Don’t let the girl behind the counter intimidate you. You got this!
