Considering someone cloned my debit card and used it there without the cashier checking for ID, I would say stay away!

Great place to pick up good spirits. The store is small but it has one of the best scotch selections I’ve seen in New York.
I tracked down two harder to find bottles on their website and placed an order for pickup. Getting to Greenpoint was a bit of a hike and I was disappointed when I got there and one of the bottles was out of stock. To their credit, they were very friendly and offered to ship out the bottle for free. Someone from the website reached out to me and I had the bottle in hand two days in later.

The best all-​around liquor and wine store this side of Greenpoint. They have everything you’d need, the staff are super nice and helpful, and the prices are reasonable.

With all that «support local stores» stuff — I am shopping there for more around 13 years, not really every week, but pretty frequent, I know all the faces in there. Prices are high comparing to, for example, store on McGuinness and Meeker, but they are local. Are they? Today I forgot my wallet, but had a checkbook — was just to write tax checks, so I asked if I can pay 39 bucks for a bottle of Cognac. «We do not take personal checks». Yeah, you will not take my cash either anymore.

This is a review for their website, not for their actual store which I know nothing about. The company is completely incompetent at web ordering. I placed an order, and their system said my shipping address did not match the credit card company (even though the address is typed in EXACTLY as on my statement). I called them up and spent a half hour on the phone with them. They repeatedly tried to get the order to go through, and kept telling me to try again. Eventually, their system locked me out. The charges were all accepted from the bank as they show up on my online statement as pending charges. I couldn’t even try a new credit card number as I was locked out. Their only response was try again tomorrow and cross your fingers and maybe it might work.
I place a lot of other internet shopping orders and have never had a problem before. And it is not a problem with my credit card, as the charges did show up as pending, and their system just said there was an address mismatch.
Maybe its good that the are trying to be secure, but given their incompetence I would never trust placing an order with them.

Good prices, good selection. They usually have events weekly. Everyone seems helpful.

Who needs bars when you have Save-​Rite? I know if I lived in Brooklyn I’d be here getting my bottle service on all the time. It’s no Bev-​Mo, but certainly an upgrade over the usual crop of liquor stores in the borough
Like anywhere in Greenpoint, Save-​Rite is a rather small store. Not to fear, their inventory of popular brands is stellar and they have a fair share of independent spirits and other non mainstream beverages as well. The prices are fair and the service is nothing short of awesome.
How awesome is the service? I once needed some booze for a little shindig and I agreed to get a case of some fine Canadian Whisky, to which I paid over the phone and they had it all waiting for me curbside before I even showed up. Their guys loaded it for me and did it with a smile. So much for heavy lifting.
I wish I could say the same for most other booze retail spots, but they’ve got it going on. Now I’m just wishing they’d open up a location near me.

Best wine and liquor selection in the area, great prices and always have tastings going on during the weekeneds and even some weekdays. Staff is very knowledgable. Good for the Greenpoint Polish population and hipsters alike.

This shop combines the best of both worlds with a large selection of wines and a large selection of liquors, all of which are reasonably priced. They always have what I’m looking for.

Local flavor.
No hipsters hanging out.

Urgh these guys are the worst. Unless you are a Polish man, they treat you like an idiot and are unhelpful. When I have actually gotten to ask someone questions, they have not been helpful or knowledgeable. If I absolutely need a bottle of booze right away, I’ll go here, but would rather go anywhere else. For wine, do yourself a favor and go to Dandelion Wine on Franklin.

I went there to buy a product that was on sale on their website
The price on their website was $ 3 lower than the shelf price, so I inquired at the register about it, the manager/​owner said that the price on the shelf is what I had to pay and that if I want the online price I can order it online and select in store pick-​up. His reason being and I quote «the website has nothing to do with me, it’s separate» end quote.
Even though on the website when you click contact us it plainly says «Wines 4 Today (DBA Save Rite Wine & Liquor)»
So am I missing something here. The girl at the other register says «I handle the web stuff and you can order it for pick up tomorrow because it’s after 5pm and I can’t go upstairs to print the order out etc…»
I think I was had, however as a consolation the manager did offer to not charge me the tax I got a few dollars off but I did lose totally about $ 16 on my purchase, but I was not driving back to the spittoon of brooklyn under the BQE with the roads that have potholes that can swallow cars!

I wish I would’ve known about this place years ago!
The whiskey selection is great (might be my favorite in Brooklyn) and the prices are fare — some cheapest I’ve seen in the city.
I highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys American whiskey. I found a bottle that I had been searching for along time on their shelf. Very happy!

Amazing prices & selection… plus open late!

Save-​Rite, Wines 4 Today, White Star– these are all names you can call 907 Manhattan avenue. But what you cant call it, is gowno.
Jerry is the best, the Wine maven of Manhattan ave, the Greenpoint Grenache God-​If you are interested– his strong points of conversation include vodka, customer service and Mitsubishi 3000GT’s.
Also, its the most lively of all liquor stores in Greenpoint. Dont be intimidated by the Poles hanging out in here, rather, join in! And YES hipsters, if you are wondering what they are talking about in Polish, its either making fun of you and your cheap whiskey selection OR the Pianist (we like art too!) so no matter what you can add your two sense and take that last step to fully integrate into the neighborhood.
The list usually goes like this
1. Try all bodegas, find the right one (God Bless)
1a. Finally get past the amazingly strong odor emitted from a meatshop and walk in fully and order something by pointing and other hand motions.
2. Swear at a Yellow cab for not driving you to your studio in Bushswick
3. Walk down West street without actuating a landmine (dogshit)
3a. get a beer at Wendys, the most unfriendly bar since the Eastern Bloc
4. stop giving the «Greenpoint 3» (the usual bums) Money
5. Talk to a Polish person

This is a good liquor store in the Greenpoint area of Brooklyn. I go here during the holidays after I just brought a boat load of goodies from the bakeries and meat markets of «Little Poland.»
They have pretty much everything you need… you know the usual suspects: wines, whiskey, bourbon, rum and vodka.
Nice staff and always leave happy.

Formerly known as the Greenpoint Wine Shop, this store has a wonderful selection of wines from all over the world. Not just the famous name, but also more typical offerings. I am particularly impressed by their French and Latin American collection. They offer tasting on most Saturdays, and if you have any question, they are very helpful. Ask for Jerry, it truly knows his wines, and will direct you to the perfect find.
