They charge you to drop off UPS packages. Lame.

Staff is nice and prices are fair. I’d just think that the $ 1 fee you have to pay for the computer use makes no sense. It’s the only way to print since their printers don’t have USB connections.

I don’t like giving a shitty rating – the guys were nice, and it looks convenient for shipping things. But the printing prices are absurd. 50 cents per page? Counting it as two pages even if you print on both sides of a single page? Plus $ 1 to use the computer to access your document? Again: absurd.

Best service! Very efficient, very friendly. I had to ship a lot of heavy boxes. The guys helped me carry them from my car, so nice! Highly recommend!

I had a bad experience at Sandbox today. I went there to fed ex some packages. When I arrived, no one else was here. There were no pens in the store except for one by the till. I asked to borrow it to fill out the fed ex forms. The sales person told me to buy a pen. When it came to selecting the mailer, I asked for padded envelopes. Apparently there were none in the supply room. While i was preparing my packages, he was unbelievably rude to a customer inquiring about a package by phone. And he proceeded to scold me about the pen. Unless Sandbox can find polite, competent people to work there on Sundays, I won’t be going there again.

I get they are not FedEx, but prices are WAY too high. $ 10 for a 20 page B&W document. It’s ridiculous. service is good, but those price make no sense.

I have a growing small business and Sandbox is amazing. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful — and most importantly, fast! They save our lives for UPS and USPS shipping. We’ve been going to them for over a year.

The staff is really friendly and helpful, and as others have pointed out they don’t nickel and dime you for computer usage. You basically only pay for each page you print (and keep), which I really appreciate. My only issue is sometimes during peak hours they only have one person working, so there can be a long wait just to ship off a small package or letter since you may have 3 – 4 people ahead of you, and of course always some cranky person arguing about the price of shipping these days… so that can get annoying – would be nice if they had an «express» line for people who know what they want or just need to purchase a stamp or something.
In any case, I recommend this place and I’m glad they’re in my neighborhood.

Fast and convenient shipping services. They work with all the major carriers and have a good selection of shipping supplies too. They often charge $ 1 to ship pre-​metered packages, but the experience here is much better than waiting at the post office!

This place comes in handy, especially when you don’t have a printer. The post office down Myrtle Avenue closed, and they seem to be the only place close by that can do shipping, sell stamps, etc. The staff has always been helpful and they are knowledgeable as well. Definitely a place to check out if you need stuff shipped overnight, as I’ve had to do it twice now.

This place is a neighborhood gem… and it seems to just get better in it’s new home. They’ve always had a super helpful staff — with a great attitude as well. I’ve never gone in and left feeling bummed. They’re efficient (and apologetic if it’s taking longer than expected) and no matter how hectic it gets in there, they always seem to keep their cool. Even if I’ve got to spend a buck to ship something (with a prepaid label), I’d much rather go there than to the post office any day.

I really want to like this place and have used it multiple times for the computers, printing and shipping. The people that work there are for the most part very friendly and helpful but almost every time I go in to do something that should take 5 minutes, I find myself there for 45 minutes. Case in point, I was trying to ship something the other day and the young man who was «helping» me was not familiar with the system and made the same mistake multiple times in a row. To compound the issue, he took a phone call from another customer who was behind me in line, trying to sort out that guys issue and continued to make the same mistake on the system with my package over and over and over again because he was not focused. This seems to be the issue. The staff needs to be trained to be conscious of the customers time. I simply cannot afford to use sandbox because of this.

Long gone are the days when this sandbox was staffed by people who seem to be barely awake and barely know how to do their jobs. Now every time I go there I get fast efficient competent and very polite service Best place to get your package sent in Clinton Hill!

Can I give no stars? This place is a terrible gyp joint. They overcharged me for extra tracking on a priority mail package, then took a 2 day air package without informing me that it wouldn’t go out the same day (despite the fact that it was before noon), and then wouldn’t give me my money back so I could go to the post office myself. Apparently, the manager had to do that, and he wasn’t there. I really wanted to like them since the post office is far away, but I gave to recommend you avoid at all costs!

I only rate things I love and dis-​like, and this place is awesome! They don’t nickle and dime people. I.E. when I need to print something from online they do not charge me to get online. They have also been super helpful, professional and friendly when I have had to ship including internationally. Even helped me with a dispute at no extra charge. Packaging supplies are reasonably priced and they have everything you could possibly need.
I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Why bother with UPS, USPS, FEDEX or DHL when you can deal with Sandbox and they will deal with them instead. Great prices and super friendly staff. You can’t say that at the post office!

This place is convenient and the staff is usually nice but I sent out a FedEx package 2 weeks ago –going to the East Village– and found out on Monday that it never reached. Turns out that my package was apparently placed in the post office bin by mistake… Was supposed to get more updates yesterday but no one called me back. Called multiple times today to speak to the manager and have him call me back. Not only am I still waiting for the call but I was just hung up on for calling after waiting another 3hours to inquire about what was going on. Apparently they don’t have time to deal with customers whose package they’ve lost.

If you are looking for competitively priced friendly neighborhood shipping spot, this is the place! I do not like Post Office lines and this place makes you feel you are far far away from that experience. The staff here is super helpful and Kay is a superstar with advice and helping you make the right choices with your shipping needs. I have been coming here for years and when the inevitable happened… they settled my claim with an air of professionalism that is needed these days.
I can not recommend them enough.

Ok this place is convenient and the staff is friendly, but every time I’ve been in to ship something it ends up costing 2x what it should.
Charge me for the box and the shipping, that’s it. Not $ 1.50 to print a piece of paper, $ 1 to tape a box, 50¢ per piece of bubble wrap I don’t need. Then they tape up the box before you know you’re getting charged for all of those «add-​ons.»
If you’re looking for convenience you’re good, just keep in mind you will be upcharged left and right.

Excellent service– had to ship a large painting across country. The gentleman helping me clearly knew what he was doing, and waited patiently while I scrambled to copy label and fax forms. Worth the trip!
