Bespoke Knot-Dressmaking
History
Established in 2015.
Que sal mah has emerged from the contemporary art world, under the direction of artistic visionary Lital Dotan, to reshape the interplay of fashion and art. The process of knot-dressmaking was created and refined by Dotan over more than a decade, inspired by ancient techniques, traditional rituals and contemporary art.
At our studio, nestled at the Glasshouse art space in Williamsburg, we offer bespoke dressmaking sessions, that are immersive fashion-performances.
From scratch to finish in 75 minutes– our knot-dressmaking design method provides a perfect fit and a striking one-of-a-kind dress.
Our garments are made from the finest knits, sourced from natural and sustainable materials, that are breathable, durable and flattering, ready to become your second skin for the season
