Specialties

We are an independently owned & operated custom suiting & shirting company. We create quality, custom men’s & women’s suits and shirts. Our fabrics are the canvas and he needle and thread are the paint brushes we use to create and bring our clients vision of their custom suits and shirts life.

With the idea of adding a bit of an artisans touch to a traditional menswear. Your look should match your personality and your individualistic approach to the things you like. Your custom suit and shirt is an investment just like any great piece of artwork it should suit the individual (no pun intended).

Our Haberdashery; The Standing Room by Heights + Kenchi. Offers our customs clients and patrons Bespoke suit and shirts. Hand made straight ties, bow ties and Handkerchiefs all made in New York City.

History

Established in 2009.

Originally started as a men’s tailored shirt company, The Designers would personally accommodate everyone’s busy lifestyle to take each client’s measurements at the location of their choosing, always ending up in a great conversation, an exchange of ideas and always laughs shared. They decided to expand and open up a small shop which would embody the feel of the brand and named it The Standing Room by HEIGHTS+KENCHI.

Located Downtown Manhattan the location was chosen for it seclusion. After their Haberdashery opened their clients would comedown to get measured and sometimes just hang out. The décor is reminiscent of Haberdashery in the 1920’s & 30’s. Everything from floor to ceiling has a story which the designers are more then happy to share with you.
