Used to be my go to spot when visiting my friends who live in that area but not anymore since they enforced a $ 15 minimum with using a card, so unless you have cash you cannot grab a quick single bottle of wine, ridiculous. That’s not going to make people want to use cash or buy more it’s just going to make them go elsewhere like I do now, stupid move for barely any gain and a loss in sales

Dependable neighborhood liquor/​wine spot. They have a pretty thorough selection of liquors. Wine inventory leaves a little bit to be desired. Otherwise a pretty solid spot… They deliver too (15 dollar min)!

I stopped into Petzinger’s Wines & Liquors few days ago to pick up a couple of bottles for my Birthday. The service I received and the selection they had was exremely impressive. They were knowledgeable and helpful and made me feel totally comfortable. Having lived in the Bay Ridge for many years I can say that this is the best service in wine store around!

Pretty typical neighborhood liqour store. They have a decent selection of wines. More expensive then the discount stores but the staff is very informative. If you want to go a store where you can ask them lots of questions about different types of wines this is a good place to go.
