Stumbled upon this place while visiting the Brooklyn Beet Company… I’m so glad this store is just a few blocks from my apartment! Great selection of wines with stuff you’d be hard-pressed to find elsewhere– The staff is top-notch! I always get a cheery welcome, and floor assistance, regardless of how busy they are– What a wonderful thing to receive ACTUAL customer service! Have gotten many great recommendations on new wines to try and have not been disappointed! Think I’ll take advantage of their free delivery option and stock up next time– Prices are reasonable– liquor selection is good and I believe they offer craft beers as well… Wish they had an online-catalog of «in-stock» items for ease of ordering delivery… but I thoroughly enjoy the great customer service, and the ease of browsing the wine offerings in this clean, well-organized store in person too!

Cool people, I agree! I dunno how it used to be ran, but it’s usually 3 – 4 different guys working here and yes, a gal too. The guy with the goatee is really cool. Everyone’s great in recommending stuff to those who are new to certain liquors like scotch, wine, cheap vodka(my vice). Recommended.

I know in the past they have had different people at the counter, but I don’t know if they have the same owners or what, but they have new youngins at the front. two or three guys and even a girl who can talk to you like you aren’t bothering them! and they even told me I could bring my dog in,(which I would not do, since her tail would knock all the bottles down) . But a much friendly place, I feel.

Nevermind there is no joy in the ceremony of selection… the store is a BIGGGG Rip off. I realized that a $ 20 bottle of wine cost me $ 29. I wanted something really nice — so sue me — well they did sue me… i don’t get how you can have the nerve to do this — just another souless business in Bay Ridge — which is sad — so yes it is convient but there are other stores in the hood — they should call his Rip-Off Liquor Inc…
